A few years back I was a new skier and in misery. After skiing the Salomon boots I purchased and had fit here I ve made leaps in ability while smiling all the while. No more agony on the lift. No more feet falling asleep. Just hours and hours of joy.

Purchased a custom footbed with canted boot. The boot started falling apart before the end of the season as the canting shaved away too much material and ultimately it cracked. Over summer discussion they argued about needing to do anything but ultimately agreed to "fixing it" when we returned to PC the next year. They epoxied the cracked areas and within just a few more days of skiing the toe pieces cracked as well.
They did agree to replace the boots with a new pair (no additional cost) and not to my surprise I have been skiing them for an additional two seasons without any cracks on the toe pieces or any issues whatsoever. It is a shame because the boots as they perform now truly are top quality but the canting job they perform clearly is a type of guesswork that i'm sure the boot engineers cringe upon as no doubt does this reduced the structural integrity of the boot. My advice would be to forgo the custom bootwork if you are going to go through these guys (both the cost and the hassle) but my experience from a customer service perspective was quite regrettable
My main boot fitter back in Colorado tried twice to do what these guys did on their first try. Described the problem with my ankle, came back and it was solved. Same deal for my friend who had it even worse.
Guys have been in the ski industry for many years. Professional service and knowledge. Top technology for adjusting boots to the foot. I definitely recommend them.
On my first trip of the year with my new boots. I was warned, I may need to adjust them after a day or so. On day 1, the pressure points where painful. Called where I purchased my boots and they recommended BootWorks in Park City. Called and told to come in anytime. Walked in at 8:50am and met with Ernie who quickly identified my pressure points, remolded the insoles, pushed out the shell, and a number of other fine tuning adjustments. No issues, no fluff. Just simple fix the problem and get you out on the mountain which I was in 45 minutes. No issues since and the boots fit great. Also, got some great pointers about hidden sweet spots on the mountain too.
By far the rudest employee I have ever encountered at pcmr. The worst customer service I have ever had! I will tell everyone to go anywhere else other then this place. Nothing but a closet dwelling ignorant ass. They are lucky to get 1 star from me. No wonder they are never busy!
Feb 4 2019 I went it to get my boots looked at. Employee was arrogant and condescending with in the first few seconds then it got worse before I could get out the door. I went to another shop, briefly mentioned my experience and they went off telling me about what a pack of dic** they are. I have reasonably thick skin and very rarely write reviews. If they are good it doesn't matter they will never get my business. Seven days in PC and everybody was nice. Rented boots for the week and had a great time.
I went to Bootworks 2 years ago for a fitting. Previously, I could not ski more than 2 days in a row due to the pain of ski boots (and ankle pains). When deciding to buy my own ski boots, I looked at a number of different options, but decided to go with them as they guaranteed their work. I bought the boots through them and went through their entire process. It is very thorough and importantly, it works.
Day 1, I still had a little ankle pain... brought it back after skiing the day at Park City and they helped fix it on-the-spot. Since then I have skied for 2 years+ in these boots and haven't had a single issue. I love my boots and finally love to ski. I just finished skiing 7 days in a row without a single boot issue. I would recommend for anyone that has had boot/ankle/foot pain with previous ski boots. They have changed the way I have approached this sport.
Arrogant and condescending just like the other reviewers said. Walked in with a new pair of boots to get custom fitted and the guy there didn't appear interested in helping me at all. Asked if he was familiar with the adjustments available for my Dalbello Panterras and he said "you should probably try Cole Sports". What a d..k! Walked around the corner and was treated like a customer should at Surefoot. Don't go here!
Phenomenal service from tremendous experts. I have been skiing for 39 years and have never had a better custom fit. Ernie and Matt know everything there is to know about boot fitting, genuinely care, and will do all it takes to get you the right fit for your foot and skiing style. Their service is outstanding and you will be thrilled that you went to Bootworks.
