The bad news is that the palace itself is being renovated, so only the stables and gardens were open. These were lovely though. Make sure to keep an eye on the time while walking through the gardens, as certain parts close at certain times. Ask about this at the ticket office. There are 2 restaurants onsite which are quite nice. My advice is to make sure you buy tickets at the ticket office before going in, many people made this mistake and went in first. They were told to go back. Also, keep a look out for possible events at the paleis. We enjoyed live opera on the day we went.
