-They get the paint for you. You have a tile with what the colors look like after being fired, you tell them which ones you want and they tray it for you.
-they have small snacks, beer wine and coffee available
-takes about a week to get the piece back
Took my daughter to create some gifts for Christmas, we had a great time...I'm glad that I made a reservation the night before as they were SUPER busy. If you plan on going on a weekend, call ahead and make a reservation even if it's just two people as they do get rather busy. You can do all sorts of things from cups and plates to various "piggy banks" and statues. Right now, for Christmas, they have a special on ornaments 4/$30...which is a really cool deal.

The experience was fun and everyone was really nice. They offer coffee drinks or ice cream, which is a fun touch. I only gave 3 stars because the prices seemed too high to me. My son picked a small ceramic puppy to paint, which was $15. I would think $8-10 would have been more reasonable, but maybe it's accounting for buying the whole experience. Everything else one could choose to paint was all higher than that - ranging from around $20-40. We will probably go again, but not often with those prices.
