Padma Resort Bali Review

Great resort and exceptional staff. The food was awesome. Breakfast was varied, extensive and yummy. The room was clean and beautiful. The 24 hour room service is a relief. The pools are one of cleanest and prettiest I have seen. The kids centre is perfect for families. The staff are courteous and helpful throughout the resort no matter whatever the time it was. We barely left the resort.

Beautiful resort with beautiful houses and beautiful swimming pools. The breakfast is extensive and delicious.

I love this resort - we just got back from our third time. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious, SKAI at sunset with a band playing is absolutely gorgeous and the choice of pools is great (lagoon pool is my favourite). Had a brilliant massage with my husband at the spa as well. Great location close to the surf beach and Garlic Lane for some shopping, and a short taxi ride away from the best restaurants of Seminyak (if you feel the need to leave at all). I would definitely recommend it for couples, but it seems equally great for families.

Lovely resort, friendly staff, pools are beautiful and kept clean. Great range of food and walking distance from some great pubs such a fatbowl. Great for families as well as groups of friends as they have both family pools and adult only pools available.

Amazing hotel, you honestly can't go wrong. It has something for every age from the kids club, pool activities, adults only pool, family rooms, skai bar. Amazing amazing hotel. The nicest staff everyone is happy to see you. It just feels like home.

If you search for kids friendly hotel in Bali, this is on the top recommended lists for its fantastic pool and yes the pools are main reason we booked our 4 nights holidays in Bali here. Lagoon pool is awesome and my 2 yo daughter loved there but the room we were given (one free upgrade from deluxe, $250 per night, original room we booked online was 35 square metre small room on level 3 of a building but I think hotel does not want to disturb other guests from my little daughter so they upgraded us to Balinese style villa room with a small terrace. ) was way too old, especially bathroom was horrible, It has Toto brands toilet and wash basin but these are more than decades old, I can tell and rust on shower hose and bath tub has patches on floor and paint on wall has crack on some spots. mould is everywhere and flooring in room is outdated. kids club has very very old carpet that i would not see at any 3 star hotels or even hostels in Australia. And not many toys there. Overall hotel garden is good but bathroom near breakfast area is really like public toilet, not even closed to 4 star hotel. My wife thinks breakfast is just average and I think the same even thought there are quite many options to choose from, food, especially breads are not very fresh and tasty and no Weetbix for kids. location wise this was quite but strategically far from everywhere if you are with kids. I hired a car with baby seat and drove myself (yep crazy but no dramas and quite easy and convenient, you will learn how Balinese drive cars and motorcycle and its reasonably drivable if you drive carefully) and it took 1hr to get to monkey forest, safari park, butterfly park and 30 mins to Kuta shopping area. 2 hours when we got stuck in evening traffic from monkey forest, Ubud to hotel back. Staffs are great and helpful but question is
"Are you willing to spend extra 100 plus dollars per night for good pool with really I mean really old room?"
Not for me. there are heaps of better options in Nusa Dua and Kuta for around $100-$200 per night for better 4 and 5 star hotels. Hard rock has great pool and Merriot in Kuta does not seem too bad and Mirage in Nusa Dua has great pool with half price of Padma. And off the hotel security gate, there are few good restaurant like Fat Bowel on the street, but you will see some trans genders seeking customers for massage on the same street when you go to convenience store. Big no no for kids. Circle K is okay but other convenience store right next to it, I forgot the name, the checkout guy was trying to rip me off by double counting items and manual scanning. Check price before you buy things and calculate before you pay otherwise you pay 5-10 dollars more than what it costs. Otherwise go to Carefour or big super elsewhere.

The first 5 star hotel on Padma Road. The facilities are complete but unfortunately the staff is rather unfriendly.

Stayed at the Padma last weekend in a New Deluxe Chalet. Rooms were well appointed, immaculate, had all the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The grounds and pools were pristine and the buffet breakfast was very expansive. Couldn't complain about anything! Would definitely stay again :)

We had galadinner in November 2019. The food was delicious, all the staff were friendly. I love this place :)

Customer Service for this property is absolutely terrible. As most are aware Mt Agung is incredibly active and expected to erupt soon (October 2017). They anticipate this to have lots of ash closing the airport on Bali an ruining the air quality. I had planned a trip for the end of this month (October 2017) and received many very understanding people with airlines and other hotels for the trip. The only inhumane hotel was this one. I mean who is so greedy that they will not issue a refund for an active volcano?! You'd think that airlines would be the stingy ones - not so. I was able to change my international flight in and local South East Asia flight out with no issues for a small $50 fee.
If you're looking for a nice property who gives zero f***s about their customers this is your hotel.

Had the best holiday ever in this resort, beautiful friendly staff, clean and loved the swim up bar.

I cope with the trouble with a smile, and solve it. Breakfast buffet is delicious. There are three pools, spa, gym, too and is comfortable. Cleaning of bathroom and restroom reaches and is comfortable. There is a departure room and you can prepare yourself after check out. Moving to a departure room is a step, so moving the suitcase is heavy. It is good to ask Bell. There are multiple outlets in the room for convenience.

Love the ambience very much. I just stay at this hotel for two days & not going anywhere because I feel so cozy with the atmosphere of this hotel. The room is very spacious & so Bali. The pool is everywhere. I can choose where to swim easily. The infinity pool with beach scenery is my fave. Wish to come back again.

Padma Legian is a resort hotel that is good for family and couples.
We stayed there for two nights recently, the kid's enjoyed the various pools, rooms are spacious and food is excellent.

Service is the best we experienced in Bali, rooms could use an update but overall great hotel for families.

Pleasant experience. The room is spacious, there is a big sofa too, can be for families with children. The concept of a hotel layout such as a resort, very broad until there is a map of the hotel so it is not lost. There are many restaurants, there is also a club house, swimming pool is also big and big. There is a beach behind the hotel but public beach anyway.

Feels at home when you stay here. Everything you need is already here. Their Service extremely Amazing. The food was perfect.
