OZO Wesley Hong Kong Review

I am impressed with all the reviews, I can't wait to see how lovely the hotel is. :) But wait, are there Mc Donald's near the hotel?

One of the few hotels where I found a free adapter for local power point in every room. Good continental + local menu included in the breakfast. The hotel is well connected by local transportation. The staff is also very helpful and courteous.

Rooms are a little small but great and quick service. No hassles whatsoever

Because I have lived 2 times before, it is very good, I will choose them for this trip.
But this stay was very disappointing. I didn t expect to stay for two nights after I booked for two nights. It was the beginning of a nightmare. Half-sleeping and half-awake were very itchy. The rash appeared on the body and itchy and swollen and the legs were the most serious. The next day told the counter staff. If you want to check out, first of all, please appease you to ask you to go to the clinic to help you change the room. Please ask the housekeeping staff to clean the inspection in the afternoon. Please check the insect repellent company. Even if the doctor says that the scorpion or insect bite is more likely, the counter staff will still Inducing that you are allergic to the sheets and sheets of the lotion or the hot weather, change the room just to the next room you lived in, it is dumbfounded, and find the eggs in the new house to take pictures and show them rice. Or food, probably the size of rice here is the same size as sesame, rice will not dry or soft! I was so scared that I didn t dare to live, and I couldn t refund the money. Because the body was too itchy and I just wanted to go back to Taiwan. However, the tickets I bought today were the same as those I bought on the day after tomorrow. I returned to Taiwan and found that the deposit was not refunded. Remind them that I have already checked out, it is really flattering.

Great little room for the price. Everything was clean and staff spoke good English. Hotel was within walking distance of the MTR. I will stay there again.

Everything is excellent except for the cheap pillows that look and feel fluffy until you lie on them, then they turn into a crepe!

Location is perfect! Stayed here for 3-nights in an OZO Suite. The room was very spacious, especially for Hong Kong at 34 sqm! Very well thought out layout, and impeccably clean. The bed was the highlight though, one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! Highly recommended!

Great hotel in great central location, unfortunately I got here with mind numbing jack hammering going on so working in room not an option. Breakfast wasn't included in my reservation so double check. Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Transportation directly on main Street.

The desk person who checked us in was very cold and unpersonal. When we approached the front desk she not only didn't greet us but didn't even say a word to us when we told her that we wanted to check in! Not a "ok," or even a nod but looking down on her keyboard and typing away! We had no idea if she heard us or was she doing something else. A very bad first impression of this hotel and of Hong Kong since it was our first time visiting. I'm giving 3 stars because of the location and the room was comfortable and quiet.

This time I live on the 19th floor, the room is clean, the mineral water is provided daily, the room is quiet, free wifi is provided. The disadvantage is that the bed is a little softer and will be considered next time.

Loving the blue and white theme of the rooms. Cozy and adorable. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Definitely will go again!

The charming hotel, located in a wonderful center and close to the local metro, is decorated in a modern style

For the location, it's just perfect because it's in the middle between wanchai and central.

Great location! 5min from Metro. 25min to EXPO Centre by walking. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Tram and Bus stations are just in front of Hotel. I would probably choose this hotel again, if I visit Hong Kong in the future.

Neat & hygenic place. Rooms are a bit small but can t really complain when in HK. Even the smallest places are made to look pretty though.
Arrived a little early & the front desk were very accommodating. They provided a room 2 hours earlier than the usual. Very grateful for the gesture.

We stayed here for two weeks in June. The room was very clean and well-serviced. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had some minor issues with the bathroom but they were taken care of very quickly. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the MTR, different bus lines and "ding-ding" (trams).

There is a construction site across from the side street (Landale St.). Noise started around 8AM. No construction noise after 5PM or. Try asking for rooms facing Hennessy St. if you plan on sleeping in.

One word of advice: it is less expensive to book it directly on the hotel website than via travel websites. We learned it the hard way.

In a central location, the hotel has a nice and contemporary design, room was a large and comfortable suite, service at the reception was efficient but the hotel looks overall a little cold, price was ok

Clean little rooms. Breakfast is very expensive. Cheaper to eat in the nearest cafes, of which there are many in the district.

The location is very good, but the rooms are small and the front is not good. Suitable for people who only need to go to bed.

Great location, comfortable rooms and great housekeeping

A decent hotel at a very prime location in Hongkong, the staff is generous however the rooms are too cramped.

The location of the hotel is awesome, lots of little specialty restaurants within a few blocks. The other direction there are all kinds of bars, restaurants and nightlife. The breakfast buffet is awesome and absolutely worth the price! It is also very close to the Wan Chai or Admiralty subway stations. I would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome location! Withing walking distance from local restaurants and bars. Two train stations also within walking distance from the hotel. Staff are warm and very helpful.

Have been staying here for more than 3 month. Great location and cozy hotel. Especially very kind and friendly staffs which made me feel like home away from home. I will definitely come back !!!

A clean hotel, a team caring, the decor of the rooms is contemporary and design, you can really relax at home. The beds are excellent. On the other hand, considering where the hotel is located, no pleasant view. The hearty breakfast is mediocre, be it Chinese or the various Western versions!

Hong Kong is now one of the most expensive cities in the world. This also applies to hotel prices. The visitor can choose from thousands of hotels of every color. However, be careful when choosing a hotel! A very interesting and top located hotel is the Ozo Wesley in Hong Kong Central *, which we visited in January 2019.

Ozo Wesley Hong Kong
The Ozo Wesley Hong Kong * is located directly on the busy Hennessy Road on the edge of Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island. The MTR stations Admiralty and Wan Chai can be reached in about 8-10 minutes on foot. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, with which you can go to all important points on Hong Kong Island. There is also a tram stop around 100m away.

The entrance hall is very modern. Next to the reception there is a waiting area with iMacs and snacks and drinks can be purchased.

The rooms
The available rooms are distributed between 6 and 14 floors. Standard rooms, superior rooms and suites are available. The standard rooms are on the 6th - 9th floors, although they are relatively small at 20sqm, but correspond to the Hong Kong standard. The rooms are divided into living room and bathroom. In the living room there is a sitting area with a table.

The room we lived in was on the 6th floor. Despite its location facing the street, it was quiet. However, the room was shabby and only partially clean. Unfortunately, this continued in the bathroom.

The room has a safe, kettle and hairdryer.

The food
Optionally, breakfast can be booked for 19 , which is offered in a breakfast room on the 1st floor in buffet form. The guest can choose between classic egg dishes or continental breakfast as well as Chinese or Indian breakfast. The service is good and always tried hard. The bottom line is that the surcharge for breakfast is worth it to start the day.

Surroundings
There are many restaurants, bars and cafes in the Wan Chai district within 5 minutes. The White Stack on Lockhart Road is ideal for a quick beer or the Honbo for a hamburger among locals. A 7Eleven store and a cleaning, as well as a coffee shop are right next to the hotel or can be reached in 2 minutes

Conclusion
The Ozo Wesley Hong Kong impresses with its perfect location in Wan Chai, good transport links and a good price / performance ratio. But you can overlook the weaknesses in room service.

Room was small but I guess that's just how it is in hk with high rent prices. Besides that, the location was good for us and the breakfast buffet was tasty.

good hotel for rest & shower, after all you will be outdoor most of the time when in hong kong, great wifi, great shower power. small problems are the aircon, small litter bin, small fridge. locations are great and got 2 tram stops nearby. very affordable price.

Lively staff, hotel room small compared to Sydney size, but apparent normal for HK. Nice touch with window seating. A homely touch to the place. Convenient location, right next to a laundromat & great hole-in-the-walk cafe. Pillows are to my liking as well!

Clean, efficient and affordable place to stay in Hong Kong. Stayed in a snooze room for 1 night while on a stopover and would stay here again. Close to MRT

At least better than Hotel Indigo. You don't have to worry about the hotel management calling up the police to arrest hotel residents here.

The worst hotel i stayed during last 5 years, and i travel nearly half of the year. Unfriendly and very slow reception, not paying any attention to their guests. The worst part was meeting two prostitutes in the hotel's lift. This is the last thing you expect to see in this kind of hotels..

Clean, small rooms (this is HK after all!). Smartly designed maximising the space with quality furnishings and a comfortable bed. Cable TV, in room safe, and tea/coffee setup, plus a mini fridge, modern computer table and chair. Great connectivity with free wifi, and ample plug sockets - including USB. All round friendly and helpful staff. Great location for tram and busses outside the door and 7 min walk to Wan Chai MTR. 5 min walk to Pacific Place. The OZO is a great value hotel especially as you don't want to spend a great deal of time in your room when you are in Hong Kong, but it is a comfortable place to come back to.

Very stylish, comfortable place. From year to year I stay here and enjoy every time. The hotel infrastructure is in perfect condition.

Prestine clean, smells glorious and at a prime location. Right on a Tram station and Wan Chai MTR.

Would highly recommend staying at this place - location is very accessible, staff are very helpful (they really go above and beyond to help), and the place is very clean. Looking forward to staying here again in my next hk trip.

The nearest hotel to the Central Queensway is a cheap hotel. Convenient transportation, the food in Wanchai below the hotel is very special.
