Outback Steakhouse International Review

Great service, excellent food and great new Outback layout. We had read all reviews which were mixed. We decided to give it a shot and we were not disappointed. In fact everything was excellent. The owner Davey came by and we had an excellent chat about staff and food. We highly recommend this Outback location. You will not regret the visit. Carly the manager welcomed us and could have not been more helpful. Jay provided excellent service. We have been to Outbacks all over the USA, Canada, Brazil and Australia. Would have to say this may have been our best Outback experience ever. Recommend it to everyone.

Worst service ever, it took 40 minutes for soup and salad. The manager came by and said.. sorry. That was it! I will never go to this location again.

I ordered my steak MW and they cooked it twice and it's still came out Mr, the other time the waitress brought out black like burnt charcoal how would u sell it looking like that
common sense lady, waitress said to us they couldn't get my steak right, she was slow for refills and hot bread as well. Never will be back horrible experience.

Great new Outback location. The food was very good and so was the service. This location on Boy Scout Road is certainly convenient. It even has free valet parking if you want to use it..

My girlfriend was hit in the back with a corn hole bean bag, while entering the restaurant, by a random group of teenagers. They then took off running and the manager only asked if we were ok, but didn't provide any explanation and never spoke to us again. This was witnessed by multiple employees, but nothing was said by any of the staff, or helped comfort the situation. The manager didn't handle this correctly, however the table behind us had a steak not cooked to their liking and had their whole meal comped. Not coming back to this Outback again.

Wow! What a nice new place this is! We were able to beat the lunch rush and got seated right away. My first challenge was WHERE to sit, because there are so many 'neat' areas in which to sit! Melissa was our Server and she was really on point! In a world where customer service is rapidly dying, its young women like Melissa who give me hope that maybe there are still a few good ones out there. Lunch was awesome!

Had a really good experience tonight eating at this location very clean my waiter was very nice and polite I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here!

Arrived for lunch, work at a Business nearby. Seated and drinks were quick, and the order was taken quickly as well (by someone not our server). Salads and soups came out quickly, but my fellow party members food was slow to come out (understandable, soup and salad are easy). After our food came out we never saw our server until it was check time. There were no refills for drinks, or refills on our "Endless Soup and Salad" that 4 out of 6 of us got. Once we got our bill I asked for a bowl of Soup to go, and I was told they could do that. Eventually someone, not the server came back (perhaps the manager), and informed me they were out of Baked Potato soup, at which point I was offered anything else on the Menu but since I had been there for over an hour at that point, on my lunch break, I didn't have the time to wait any longer for anything else.

Almost entire order wrong. Salad came last, steaks over cooked, wrong baked potato. Not good at all.

Typical Outback fare, but the service at the bar was a cut above. Fast, friendly, and accurate.

Awesome sit down dining experience. Delivery ordering from Hotel 30 feet away BIG ISSUES. Needs alot of work to provide good delivery food service.

Service was slow, food was slow to come out too. Seafood dishes were on the salty side but the steak was good and the bloomin onions we're amazing! On the bright side, the manager and staff was really nice and had great attitudes. This location is brand new and coming from a family who's owned restaurants, I can sympathize with the difficulties of training and getting the whole staff up to speed and running a smooth operation. I plan to revisit in the future and hopefully change my rating because I really love outback

Recently opened, brand new facility, very clean, friendly and customer service oriented. Great value for the price. Steaks are excellent and menu items are diverse to meet everyone s likings

There were a few patrons seated in the restaurant and my party was only 3 people, and the service was absolutely terrible! We ordered a bloomin onion and it was burnt to a crisp, our food took 50 minutes to come out and was luke warm at best, and never got refills on our drinks. First and last time I'll go to this Outback!!! For a newly built restaurant, they are going to have a hard time staying open with the lack of quality service and food. Don't patron here!

The service was great and we got seating as soon as we got there. Food was really good as well, however they got the temperature wrong on 3 of our steak orders, but other than that it was a good experience and I would come back again.

Really good meat and a friendly staff. Great place to go as a family. The whole restaurant looks beautiful with the big windows. It's really nice at night.

I think this was the best Outback visit ever. Food was great, and we got out just in time for the game. Bonus was out sweet waitress Monika, she made a friend with our daughter whose name is also Monika and it's spelled the same way. She couldnt believe how much stuff they had in common. Thank you so much for engaging conversation with the little one, you have made her birthday even more special.

Let me start by saying they burnt my bloom, like crispy burnt. And I was told they made it twice... What the who were they doing in the kitchen??? My steak was dry as heck, cough cough. The broccoli and was life so was the macaroni. I felt like the steak could have been better but I was so I just ate it. I almost forgot about my "Down Under Mule". I thought it was like the in the mason jar... It was not but whatever. The service was nice.

The Blooming Onion was burnt. I asked the waitress politely to have the steak cut prior to it being served due to a disability. They served the steak uncut. The 6 o.z steak was the size of a 4 o.z. sirloin. I asked the waitress again to please have my steak cut for me. She just walked off. I waited another 10 min before I can ask another server to cut the steak. He said that the waitress didn't understand about what I meant when I asked the cook to have it pre-cut. What is so hard to understand that I can't cut the steak with one arm and that I need it prepped before it comes to the table !? She also had a hard time understanding what a refill of coke was. I also had unlimited shrimp with my order. I could not enjoy the option of refilling my shrimp because they tasted more like green beans than seafood. The food and dining experience was most unpleasurable and If I had the option to give zero stars, I would. 1 star means I'm providing a suggestion, this establishment deserves no stars and I would not eat here again!

Waited seems like forever for my appetizer, just crabcakes... they finally arrived w/o the remoulade sauce i ordered chicken tacos, that weren't served w/ sour cream, waited another 5 mins for it, by the time i went to eat my tacos i realize the chicken had been cooked forever!!! I changed my order to ribs, they were dry, my server was apologetic for delay & quality from the kitchen!

Great outback food paired with a brand new space. Probably the best looking outback I have ever been too. Lots of tables, large bar and great decor. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Absolutely delicious! They were very busy and we didnt even realize we didnt recieve our appetizer and manager came right over and apologized and took it off our bill which we didnt expect at all. The staff was very friendly and attentive! We had a good experience! Would definitely return!

Hadn t been to outback in a long time and decided to give them another go with this location! Definitely was not disappointed! My boyfriend and I had Jay as our server, and he was 10/10! Our food came out hot, our orders were correct, and our drinks were never empty! This location is great!

Excellent experience, I wish it was as good as my local outback. party at this location is superior to most I've had in recent years. I just seen a trend where the food quality of the larger parties is superior to smaller ones, and that might explain why the experience here was so much better this time.

Will look forward to my next visit!

We visited shortly after they opened. The bloomin' onion and sandwiches were great, as was the service. We'll be back!

This restaurant is in such a great location. However, the customer service is just not up to par. The staff are friendly but it seems as if they need more training. My first visit was OK, I thought it took sometime to get my drinks and my server didn t know the answers to my questions that I had regarding menu items. My salad was OK, but for $15 I ve had better quality. I went today for my second visit to give it another go round, and it was worse. I got seated right away but it took at the very least 10 mins. just for my server to come over. I end up ordering right away because I wasn t sure how long it would take if I just sent her off to get water. I ordered a salad, martini and grilled cheese for my daughter. My server asked if I wanted bread and I said, sure . My drink came out maybe 15 mins later. I took my time I sipped my drink but I end up finishing it and still didn t even have bread. When I told her, it appeared as if she had forgotten but I m not sure. When I finally got bread, my food came out maybe five mins later. My server came to check on me once and that was it. I didn t have any napkins so I had to wait to eat until I flagged her down. Again. This is a great location and it has potential but they need need to amp up the service here. There are so many great restaurants around the area, so if they want to great here they are going to have to make some changes. Hopefully they read these reviews.

We have a 3year old which is always challenging for any server. We had no wait, his food came in super quick and service was the best we have had in a long time. Our server Liz was amazing. Thanks!

Entree was perfect. That was it! We got there around 9:45pm, they didn't close til 11. There were maybe 10 tables in the whole place, not busy at all, and we still didn't leave until around 11. SLOWEST SERVICE EVER! Also the soup wasn't even warm. I LOVE OUTBACK as far as chain restaurants go. Will never return to this one.

The 3-point Trio was good. You didn't need to get the blooming onion for an appetizer. You receive it with the dinner w/ ribs on top.

Top notch chain restaurant. The new location was nice and clean. The steak was cooked to order (medium rare) and the new appetizer options were tasty. The crew was friendly and knowledgable of the menu. They also accommodated our 10 person party with ease.

Horrendously slow service (though our server was pleasant enough) and tonight several pieces of chicken on my salad weren't cooked all the way through. Not impressed.

If there is one thing you can always say about Outback in general and this place in particular, the food and service is always excellent.

I highly recommend this location. While they were busy, we were promptly accommodated. The waitress, Melissa, was friendly and connected with our party immediately. Her energy was positive and magnetic. While waiting for our appetizer a manager, Carly McDowell, was the epitome of an Aussie welcome. She smiled BIGGLY and welcomed our large party to the restaurant. She made the experience pleasant and enjoyable. Keep in mind, we haven't even eaten yet. I'm hungry and looking forward tonite... YUM!

I forgot the name of our waiter. He is a student at Tampa U. He was awesome despite the fact that he grew up in Boston. Well done young man.

Food was delicious and the service was good. Wait staff was friendly and interactive with my children. The manager came by when she saw me looking around for my server. My steak was a little rare for my liking so they cooked it a little longer for me without any issues or trouble.

Our server Bridgette was super excellent. Very attentive and helpful. Thank you so much for your Excellent Service and, I ll look forward to visit this location soon.

First visit at this location last night and enjoyed both food and service. Nathan took very good care of us. Had the filet mignon & Wednesday sirloin center cut special, both could use less salt, but told could be ordered without the spice rub and that's what we'll ask for next time. The mashed potato and veggie sides were also tasty. All in all a more than pleasant experience and will definitely return. Thanks Nathan!
