Excellent food and they easily made me a delicious vegan burrito.

Very high quality Mexican food with a hint of French flare

This is a great spot for margaritas, fine Mexican and good service. I really enjoy this place for a good dinner with someone you already know. It's a bit loud, soooo don't count on a romantic setting.

Nice atmosphere. Great tasty carnitas and guacamole. The margaritas we're also tasty. I was with a group and the service was slow but otherwise a cool experience.

Great prices and amazing food with strong options to choose from! There is also a brunch option for Saturdays and Sundays that has great deals as well. I loved my first trip there and will be going back again!

LA Weekly raved that Ortega has the best classic margarita. They also have a thing called a tequila university which sounds fun. Maybe I should try that next time when they have a flamenco dancer on a Friday night.

I came here to catch up with my sangria-loving friend, Jenn. I yelped around for some good sangria in our area and we decided to try this place. The atmosphere was dimly lit and the bar area was pretty crowded. We managed to find a bench against the wall with a small table in the back of the cantina. I'm sure this would have been nice if there was a flamenco dancer in the middle of the room. It was uncomfortable for us because we had to angle ourselves so we can talk to each other and not stare at the other tables in front of us.

The flower sangria on the bar menu caught my attention. The drink was sweet and very pretty but I think my friend wasn't amused because it didnt taste like the sangria she was craving for. The sangria had tons of tiny edible yellow flower pedals floating in the bottle. Everytime I took a sip I had a mouth full of them. I liked the drink, would be nice if it came with a strainer.

I was surprised how bland the guacamole was. Either that's how they make it or they don't know what good guac tastes like.

We decided to leave when the musicians came in. The music was booming and we couldn't talk. If you come here when they have live music, try to sit away from them so your ears won't be overwhelmed by their loud energy.

My first impression of this place wasn't that great but I'd like to give it another try when I'm in the area someday. Next time I'm getting margarita with something without guacamole.

This was our first trip to Ortega 120 and we went late on a Tuesday evening. Being Taco Tuesday, it was still pretty busy.
Drinks were good and the food was good.
The only downside is that late in a Taco Tueday.....it's a little loud.
If you're lucky, you might just bump into a local celebrity like we did.

I honestly didn't really like it. The Mole/Chicken wasn't very tasty, and sort of bland overall. Wasn't Impressed by the portions for the price.

Good place to kick back at. Taco Tuesday's is a mess, with reservations taking over an hour at times. Aside from that, the margarita's are great and the food is...delicious!

Patio has lots of open windows. Full shade with tables. I feel comfortable there without mask while eating. 7/2020

Avoid this restaurant, they dont pay their employees all their hours. they are stealing money from employees. worst employer ever, don't support this restaurant!

Best tacos and best margaritas I've ever had by far there is no sweet and sour in the building!

It was a fun place. Guacamole left something to be desired. I had a really good Kale Caesar salad. Go figure.

Extremely friendly staff. Great house salsa that has a little kick. Margaritas were very good and not a bad price during happy hour.

My favorite Mexican restaurant hands down.. You wont find a better tequila bar, anywhere... Epic food and great cocktails...You gotta try the spicy mango margarita, it's super good.

We arrived and they said the kitchen closes at 9, which is quite early already. We order and have our food without issue but when 9 comes around they do their best to basically shoo us out and seems like the service suddenly stop. Horrible with refills or anything else after 9. For a table of 8 they just give a single bill and think it's totally cool. Umm, no, it's 4 different couples, that's quite obvious. Now, the food was tasty, especially the Snapper and there's no debating that. But the service almost completely ruined the experience, but I can get kinda sorta maybe understand it cause it's after closing, the thing I can't put up with is the huge wall of crosses. We get it you're religious, but keep that stuff at home, not your place of business.

The De La Flora Sangria is flavorful and light perfect on a hot sunny day. Refreshing. Martin our waiter was awesome. Food is great staff even better. Very friendly. Gotta try this hidden gem.

We go here often- Great service! Great drinks (best margaritas in town)! Delicious food! However, they recently stopped making tortillas home-made and they are not near are delicious. :(

A little pricey for taco Tuesdays but great taste and variety. Margaritas are always good too.

They have great food and a very nice style good for children and adults.

Ortega 120 has the BEST taco Tuesday! There is convenient parking in the structure right behind the restaurant. The beautiful Spanish styled restaurant is very welcoming. They freshly cook their tortillas in the front of the restaurant so it is always smelling so wonderful. Their drinks, especially the margaritas, are delicious. There was no wait when we arrived and the service was great.

Since a friend recommended this place a few months back, I try to make it a point to visit any time I'm by the beach cities. The ladies are making fresh tortillas right when you walk in. The helote is ridiculous. I love their table salsa and home made chips. Great guac. The ceviche is delicious. I pretty much dream about the short rib tacos between visits. The short rib nachos with truffle beschemel are enough for two meals. You can't go wrong with the churros & ice cream. The staff is always very friendly. If you're planning on a big group, call before 5 p.m. to make a reservation on the weekend or you could be looking at an hour and a half wait.

Everyone in our party raved about the food!! We are from Arizona and have lots of experience with Mexican food. A couple of us felt that this was the best we'd ever had!! Great service and great atmosphere as well.

Went here after reading about Ortega 120. I didn't like what I eventually order which was the lamb shank, meat was not tender and it was very meal to digest. I feel perhaps the taco special with a couple of Corona's would fair better. Wanted to like it but did not.

Very good live band on wednesday nights along with great food.
