From Michigan It was hard to understand the waiter he was impatient with us. I asked for a ground beef burrito. He said, then go to taco bell, we dont have ground beef. I got Tortia soup it was Very good huge bowl but it took a half hour to get.
Roadtrip 2018 - our tacos were delicious. Location is definitely recommended.
Not bad ,Need more Salsa Chile selection at the Table ,Green Tomaitio Salsa would be Great, Also Candles at every table and more Above lighting would it it more of Moonlight effect / Day of the Dead , An improvement Recommendation 'Only.Like the Mole Chicken..
very different Mexican food. not traditional style. great atmosphere.
Great restaurant with more than a handful of vegetarians options. Good decor, great vibe and friendly servers. The house Margarittas are amazing too.
Stopped in for dinner food was excellent. Recommend the nachos. Also the chili rellanos were very tasty
Food was good. Service wasn't bad. I was expecting a little more attentiveness since there were only 3 guests inside (got there as soon as they opened) but overall positive experience.
Always fanatic food! I got the braised spaghetti and it was fabulous
Had to wait for about 25 minutes on a Tuesday but it was so worth it! The homemade tortillas were out of this world. New favorite taco tuesday place (or Mexican all together).
A bit beyond just Mexican food, there is always a buzz when you walk in. It's located right between Torrance, Palos Verdes and Redondo Beach so it's a perfect meeting place. The menu is full of great food and the service is very good. This is nothing like what you get with chain restaurant Mexican food. I keep coming back!
Fried khalo meets dia DE Los muertod. Oh, and good food too
This is definitely the place to be for taco Tuesday and awesome margaritas by the pitcher any day.
The customer service was great. Beautiful decor. Not the best or authentic Mexican food. I ordered carne asada tacos and their version of asada was more like beef stew. Not a fan of that. The rice was pollo loco style which isn't authentic... very bland. The beans tasted like canned beans, not homemade. I also tasted all tje otjwr plates that you see and again, bland. The alcoholic beverages were awesome though. I would come back for happy hour only. I would focus more on real authentic Mexican food, versus decorations.
1st visit, Cadillac Margarita was very good, fresh guacamole was average and not prepared at table so couldn't customize it, Camarones a Diablo was just bad - had very fishy taste like seafood stew, didn't even taste like shrimp, even though there was a generous portion of shrimp I can't recommend - also it wasn't spicy at all and didn't have much of a tomato base.
Others in party who recommended location really like their Mole, which I don't like in general so I didn't try.
In my opinion they are trying to be upscale instead of authentic and just failing in general. I will be going back to LA Capilla - the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Torrance.
3rd time here. First two amazing. This time so so. Carne asada quality wasnt great and server couldn't recommend any non spicy dishes for my mom and all dishes are not spicy. Still like this place alot just a bad day I guess.
Chicken mole was sub par... Fried drumstick with some sauce.
The food was OK. I had the enchilada which did not have much flavor though the meat was tender. My guest really enjoyed their food. They had steak that was very flavorful.
By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. They have their menu and a vegetarian menu and this is on of the few Mexican places I've tried that doesn't half ass their veggie menu!! It's fuego!! And on the healthier side. I'll definitely be recommending them to everyone! I drive all the way from OC just to eat here. Service is on point too. Never disappointed.
No matter what you order; it's all good. Never disappointed.
Funky place. Too many skulls as decorations and the furniture a little too rustic and unconfortable for my taste. However, the food and the service more than made up for it. The braised short ribs are to die for. Fork tender amd absolutely delicious!!!!
