Place is really cute! Gives an old school mexican feel. Food is Americanized. If you are looking for authentic this is not the place. The service was ok. I bit pricey, only big plus is tortillas are hand made. This was our first time here....honestly don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Amazing food and great drinks. Pretty expensive though. During the day (every time I have been there) they seem under staffed and the service was a bit slow. It is in a rich area so they can justify the price but it's not really worth going out of my way for. This would be 5 stars if the service and prices were better.

Even having to sit outside it is worth to eat at. Everytime we visit Redondo we eat here at least 1 time during our trip.

We found the food to be pretty greasy & bland, our server was super nice though.

Great staff, great atmosphere, great food and even better margaritas. The Tierra y Mar is the absolute best. We love this local spot!

This place is awesome! Great food and ambiance. I've only been one time so far but will definitely return.
I can't remember the name of the dish but there is a delicious shrimp plate that came with onions and veggies that was fantastic. We also tried the queso fundido(so?) And a few different kinds of tacos.
I read a previous review that said something about the place being small but I think it's quite spacious inside.
Highly recommend for an upscale modern so-cal Mexican food experience.

Fantastic food, quick and friendly service and nice ambient. Lots of mix drinks to choose from although with a small amount of draft beer to pick from but they also offer bottled beer.

My boyfriend and I decided to go here while we were staying at The Best Western since it was within walking distance and it sounded good. This place far exceeded our expectations. It was AMAZING. The food was all so fresh and very authentic. I had the carne asada and would definitely recommend it. If we make it back to California we will definitely be going again.

This isn't your average Mexican restaurant with sloppy plating and cheap margaritas. This joint has the best margarita mix in town made with fresh organic juices! If you try it and love it as much as I do, you can even buy a gallon to take home. Yea, you know you want to be the superstar party saver who brings the best margarita mix to a house party!

As for food, go for the Chile Braised Short Rib, the meat is so tender you could easily dig into it with a plastic spork! It sits on a bed of pozole which provides a nice complimentary texture to the meat.

Dessert? Churros con Chocolate won't disappoint! Dip those crispy little guys in some chocolate and scoop up some vanilla ice cream and you're in for a sweet ride. Your tastebuds will thank you!

Came here for my girlfriend's birthday. The reason we came is because she says they have the best Margaritas in town. The food was well priced and delicious. If you're going to get tacos I would recommend you get them with a flour tortilla rather than corn because they put a lot better seasoning and toppings. I know this because my girlfriend ordered the exact same tacos with corn tortillas and my tacos definitely tasted better. The tacos came with beans and rice as you can see in the picture but the reality is the leave a lot to be desired taste wise. Cheers. Nasdrovia. Salud.

Taco Tuesday is really busy, but the food excels everytime...

The mole was fantastic, as was the service on a busy Saturday night! Yummy food and nice folks, we enjoyed ourselves. Super great time and food, go and enjoy.

Food is good. Not outstanding. If you like expensive Mexican food then this is the place for you. It is nicely decorated.

Ortega 120 is a modern Mexican restaurant. They have a large selection of tequila. The food is good and most of the dishes are large portions. The ambiance is great they have music playing they also have a bar. Great place and delicious food! Try it

10/10 would eat at again, I would suggest the omelettes they are amazing. The tortillas tasted delicious with the butter, and the chips tasted good.

The service is very very very slow but the food is good. Usually we are not acknowledged for a while when we walk in. It is also very loud.

Extremely loud. Drinks were okay. Did was okay. Rice and beans are family style. Everything was just okay.

Great cozy feel. Love the art and the owner/bartender was very attentive. The variety of mezcal and tequila is ridiculous.

I came for lunch with my wife and MIL on a weekday afternoon. Good food, but pricey overall... especially the drinks which could use a happy hour discount for lunch. Along with slow service this visit was less than stellar which was a bummer. Chips and salsa are great and they keep them coming if you can catch a moment from the waited. They have sportsnetLA so great location for you Dodger fans out there!

Taquito appetizers are the bomb. Fresh tortilla soup, and great enchiladas. Huge portions & attentive staff!

Food is always great, atmosphere is fantastic, and service is usually good (but they bring the check quickly, then stop bringing your table water/refills; which isn't great if you're there for a birthday or event)

Visiting the area ... more than one person told me to stop here for their margaritas. I did. And they were right!!! ... fabulous margaritas!!

Freshly made tortillas, pitchers of margaritas can't go wrong! The art decor is eye catching and the service is great.

The food was pretty good but not outstanding in any way. The cocktails were better, in particular the horchata martini. However, the service was very patchy, maybe our waiter was having an off day so don't take my review in isolation. One of our dishes was wrong and the waiter insisted that it was what we'd ordered, which was odd as why would we do that? One of our drinks was forgotten and I just didn't leave feeling particularly satisfied. A passenger in a pickup truck that was driving past did shout "f**ing love Ortega!" as we were leaving so it's clearly popular with some people!

Good place for large parties and it is an up beat spot. Food was really good as well. Guacamole needs a little more flavor.

I only wish the service and food was as good as the Art!! If you want your eardrums to bleed because of the noise level, even after the band takes a break. If you enjoy yelling at the person sitting next to you. If you enjoy a one inch piece of tasteless corn on the cob and call it street corn. And an inattentive server who is never there to the point you have to have the manager bring you the check then by all means go and experience the place. The only reason I gave 2 stars is for the excellent margarita, great, even though sans salt on the rim..

Everything was delicious. The handmade tortillas were very good. Cocktails were great. We had the 9 year nachos and the chilaquiles. Portion sizes were huge.

Pretty good Taco trendy Taco spot. It's a sit down restaurant with table service, so price is higher than that of most Mexican restaurants. The tacos were delicious and came out quickly, and the margaritas were also delicious. They have a good deal of 3 items of tacos or other items before 3 pm. The ambiance in the restaurant was also gorgeous and themed properly.

I thought the food was good, but for what it was, way overpriced. It seems like the restaurant is trying to be super trendy and upscale, so maybe I just came at the wrong time. I would like to come back and try their happy hour, since it seems like those prices are a bit more palatable.

Just went for Taco Tuesday. It is only the bar area and surrounding tables that participate in Taco Tuesday so you would need to get there early or you're waiting. There is a 2 hours max stay time so it could be a while. The hostess was very friendly. She was a shining star to an otherwise blah dining experience. For me the carne asada and pollo were very salty. In contrast the shrimp had no flavor at all. We sat at the bar and even though we were together the bartender treated us as separate customers; which ended up with us having an extra helping of chips and salsa. Never got asked about drinks and the bartender didn't stay around long enough for me to even ask. Don't get me wrong, I understand most places are busy especially on Taco Tuesday but there were two bartenders and they both stayed on the other end of the bar so flagging someone's attention was tedious. My friend ordered tacos without all the extra condiments and both plates came out with all the extra stuff (first plate sent back due cheese which was specifically declined) Tacos were $3.50 each and there is a variety that you can choose as well as whether you want corn or flour tortillas.

Good gringo style mexican food. A little bit pricey. I used to really like this place until I had a weird and rude experience with a waiter. There was a hair in the guacamole and I formed him about it. He proceeded to tell me that the cook was bald and looked at me strangely. I think he was trying to say that it must have come from us. Good place for singles and couples but not family friendly. Did not feel welcome at all anymore.

Incredible brussel sprouts (is that Mexican). Foof is authentic and tasty. Nice hip vibe.

Food was delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Only one warning, the food I ordered (Oaxacan Mole) said it was 1/2 chicken. When we got home with the food, there were two legs and thighs in both of our orders.

THAT IS NOT HALF A CHICKEN!

Half a chicken is traditionally leg, thigh, breast, and wing. Now I may be ignorant of Oaxacan traditions regarding bifurcating chickens, but the menu should note this.

We love the Snapper Veracruz, Tacos Dorados, Taquitos de Casa, Hamburgers are awesome. Happy Hour is great. Live music on Wed. We sit at the bar, Carlos is Great! Nick the GM often works the bar and cares about his customers. Feels like home.

Best house margarita I've ever tasted. Tacos are great, too. I especially enjoyed the short rib tacos.
