Went through security fine. Finding a seat to sit anywhere in this hot airport is almost impossible. Down in the Delta gates they cram all the gates in one area. Good luck wading through the loud, overly crowded people sitting on the floor and hanging around the gates. This airport needs to add on. It is too small. Long lines for the bathrooms.

Truly awful airport: felt like I was at a theme park on a ride that simulated a cattle drive! International & national flight passengers all herded through 1line of security, where most of the time only 1 of the 6-8 security scanners were being used! Simply put: too many chiefs and not enough Indians! Truly, not an experience to be repeated. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to try it with children, there would have been a massacre

First time at MCO. Rental car drop off was a piece of cake. No need for shuttle it's right there. TSA people super friendly and funny. Joking with us. Tons of them around. They definitely keep things moving. They have current wait times on a screen and it said 23-30 minutes we made it through in 20 minutes with a carry on bag search. Our fault, we forgot we had BBQ sauce from the Bahama's in there.

Arrived from UK to the largest queue I have ever seen. Even made Disney world queues seem short. After a 9 hour flight with small children to subject them to a huge queue for 3+ hours standing to be processed is just crazy. Felt like I had arrived in a 3rd world airport.
This wasn't even for security it was just for picture and fingerprint capture.
I saw a family in the queue in major distress.
The US queue was non existent. Didn't need to happen whoever is managing this airport for the arrivals needs to given the funding to improve this. Departures I would give a 4 star as it was fine. Not sure what it's usually like but can only go in my experience.

I use this airport 20-30 times a year and it is no...

I use this airport 20-30 times a year and it is not an enjoyable experience the majority of the time. I have three MAJOR complaints about it.

1. Security - They NEED to remodel the terminal for modern TSA screening, there simply is not enough room for adequate funneling of passengers for the TSA. This leads to a 8 lane to 2 lane to 1 lane to 12 lanes of actual screening lines. A HUGE bottleneck, and frustrating experience because you're constantly fighting for your "spot" in the line due to the funneling and bottlenecks. If you don't have any status with your airline, CLEAR or TSA precheck, make sure you get to the airport EARLY!!!

2. They also get so backed up in the morning that they don't actually do their job as it was intended. Most of the time they say "F@#k it" and tell you to keep on your jacket, keep the electronics in your bag, leave your shoes on and just push you through the metal detectors, not even the xray machines. I'm sure that was not the intended purpose of the TSA when it was conceived.

3. Baggage - I have waited over 30 minutes for my baggage much of the time I fly through MCO. I'm not talking wheels on the ground to picking up my bags, I'm talking arriving at the carousel to getting my bags. When I've been on the road for weeks and my wife is waiting for me in the car just outside the door, this wait makes me want to grab the nearest baby and throw them at MCO management.

Minor complaints -
1. Lanes for the departure drop off area at terminal B are narrow, and the unloading zones too short between the airlines. This leads to regular backups and delays, before you've even stepped foot in the airport.
2. Garage parking - they recently increased the fee for parking at the garage from $17 to $19. No idea why, it's the same old garage it always has been. There is nothing of value that's been added to the facility. Just the ol' "F@#k you, pay me".

Free internet is pretty decent and welcomed. A small consolation prize for this place.

Airport security threw my mom s inhailer away. In which left my mom vulnerable for asthma attacks. I don t understand how they can get away with throwing a prescribed medication away.

Completely ignoring Covid-19 guidelines. No social distancing. The signs in TSA security line are a joke they are not six feet apart in any dimension, especially side to side. There is no enforcement by TSA to maintain distancing. In fact, TSA was pushing people closer trying to make the line move. Past TSA, there are only 2 hand sanitizers to be found and they are far from the check point at entrance to the tram. While on the tram, a Spirit Airlines pilot removed his mask and proceeded to talk on the phone and laugh. At the food by the gates, tables were not six feet apart. No one was enforcing masking. Again no hand sanitizers to be found. Orlando airport, TSA, and Spirit all need to step up during this worsening pandemic across our nation.

The 3 resturants that were open. The employees seemed afraid to wait on people. We waited 45 min. Just to sit down to order. Then we waited 30 min. We then left no one waited on us. If we cant bring food past security there needs to be more than 3 places to eat. Lines were long at the other 2 restaurants. Burger king was extremly long. I will fly in and out of Sanford from now on. It is easy and never have any problems.

Upon arrival we had a very long walk to get to the Magical Express bus. Thankfully, we are on good shape and did not have anyone else with us. Perhaps having carts around for those that need it would be helpful. (At least we did not see any). On the way home, it was great. Nice people, easy security.

Very very confusing. Thank god there was a lady walking around helping people check their bags in at the spirit luggage check in! Lines were long but they moved fast.
Going through security was a different story! Female security was kind and was helpful. Both males That I talked to because I needed help and asked a question were very rude and condescending.Almost insulting in there additudes both of them .Next time Im getting names and reporting them. Unbelievable!
Sorry If I have offended anyone but let the truth be knowen to my fellowman.

The directional signs in the parking structure are non-existent and there is one TSA checkpoint to serve both Terminals A and B. For first-timers, it's hard to navigate. But once you've gotten the lay of the land, it's great. Even have built-in USB charging ports.

TSA precheck is a must to get through security quickly. Also be sure to check your gate number before going through security because it s very hard to transfer to another gate if you mess up. Each security check point is broken up into about 30 gates and then those gates are later split by airline.

Once you re past security and going to the right gate it is very easy and quick to get to the correct place.

Also food in this airport is more expensive than most so pack snacks. There are plenty of waterbottle fill up stations to fill up empty bottles

Poorly designed, not a single sign in the entire airport for parking lot C. How are you suppose to find The parking lot unless you ask 12 people over the course of a half mile which way to go. What a joke. Typical of Orlando, the city that fails at everything.

Easily has to be one of the worst airports I've ever been to watching my 86 year old grandmother being harassed and yelled at by a TSA agent. I could barely contain myself. I wanted to reach over and knock the guys lights out. She had bought my 8 month old nephew a bubble blower from Disney. I had seen three other people with said bubble blowers pass through easily, this vicious dingbat , decided to harass my elderly grandmother. He proceeded to open the Disney bag asking mockingly if she had any needles or knives in there that might cut him, he had come to the conclusion that the bubble blower simply must be a bomb.after a brief yelling match between me and the man i was ready to be arrested for assaulting a TSA agent when he was reprimanded by his surprior that bystanders had apparently got on the the case and we got our bubble blower and went or separate ways. If your reading this TSA officer I hope you get jumped on you smoke break.

I love to give this airport 5 stars however the Check-In at the TSA is so crowded you go under pressure and scared to miss your flights. It is very crowded and I wish Orlando finds a solution to enlarge that area so you check in to your gates with comfort. This is the fourth year and been the same since the first visit. Orlando is a beautiful city and its people are great. Always enjoyed Orlando.

Be prepared to wait in lines! Going through TSA is the worst in Orlando, whether you're flying out or arriving and trying to get to customs. We've had wait times to go through security of over an hour. Orlando is quite easily one of the most unenyojable airports to fly into/out of. Comparable with Newark. Decent restaurant options but the lines/wait times were also quite unacceptable. Even checking our bags took about an hour. If you have the option to fly to FLL or MIA instead of Orlando for your layovets, I would strongly consider those over this airport

Still, after all these years, this is the SLOWEST and most BASIC airport I ve experienced. Security queues are a nightmare with the most rudimentary set up I ve seen. Endless lines of unhappy people. Once inside, very basic facilities and still feels like a time machine back to the 70s just without any of the glamour. Avoid at all costs.

It is an extremely large airport. It has several terminals and one moves between them by means of a train. There are several restaurants and shops before the waiting rooms.

However, the place is clean, tidy and with good signage.
