I love my hometown airport! I always appreciate it...
I love my hometown airport! I always appreciate its beauty when I fly home. I am usually able to move through security quite quickly.

Everything but the food court lines were quick. If you dont bring a snack, theres a chance of starving to death. Other than that... pleasant.
Waited to be seated. There was no host, the waitress, cooks and manager walked pass us 3-4 times without speaking a word. I asked excuse me do you have a hosted, the rude waitress replied no and kept walking. My family and I walked out the restaurant.
This is a spacious and beautifully designed airport but be aware that there is a very limited number of shops and restaurants airside. I wish I had spent more time landside as there was a huge shopping area and plenty of restaurants.
International arrivals are always held on the plane as arrivals hall is always full! Immigration is much quicker now, just under an hour, but bags frequently aren't ready for collection after! How can it take in excess of an hour to gets bags to a carousel less than 50metres from the plane when Heathrow, Gatwick and other US airports can get it done in 15 minutes! I think it's time the airlines put the pressure on MCO to sort their arrivals out.
I waited in security for almost an hour on a Monday afternoon. This airport does not run the security screening efficiently, as they took nearly 50 mins to add a couple additional lines for scanning. The initial boarding pass/ID checkpoint gets backed up 40 people deep in each of the 4 lines. They had only 2 scan lines open for hundreds of people. Eventually, a third was open, but this was after nearly an hour of bottlenecks lines. It s a shame because otherwise, this airport has nice restaurants to offer, and the location is fantastic for WDW and central FL guests. I ll update this the next time I fly out of here If anything improves, but for now the security s inability to handle large crowds is quite unfortunate, and therefore gets 2 stars.
This airport is easy to navigate for both arrivals and departures. It took less than 10 minutes to navigate from my arrival gate to baggage claim (had to take a shuttle in between - the 10 minutes includes this ride). Prior to departure, the TSA lines are long but VERY well-organized and well-prioritized. I only waited 10 minutes in a line that would likely take 30+ minutes at another less-well-managed airport. Kudos to TSA!!!
Numerous resurants. Large airport with a lot of people. The gate areas should have more seating and more outlets.
Probably one of the dirtiest airports I have been too...BUT TSA was a breeze!
One, of the easier airports to navigate in a vehicle.
Terrible attitudes by all employees I dealt with. Can't get to one terminal from the other easily
Easy to get around. Long TSA precheck. Woefully lacking public transportation to and from airport to surrounding locales.
It's great the airport is open but travelers need to eat. We waited 35 minutes to get a terriable burger at Burger King. Starbucks was the same thing. All the other eating places were closed. FL is open but not the Orlando airport. MN is closed but their airport provided food services to their travelers.
okay so maybe its not the worst but my mom works there and when we were flying up to Boston we got held up in security for the longest time and the fact that my mom works there was no help and when we were flying back from Boston there security took no time at all and my family does NOT work there!!!!! The only good thing about this airport is that SOME of the restaurants don't SUCK!!!!!!
A very agile airport in the arrival and departure of the same, an excellent attention of the collaborators of the airport in passing migration.
Decent airport with lots to do, but the drive in to the airport is terrifying. Lots of taxis going twice the speed limit with no interest in yielding the right of way.
I LOVE the airport because it have a hotel in it which very nice
Tidy, clean and of the perfect size, its entrance and exit doors make all the doors have the same distances from the central point, as forming a star, the car rental service is very easy with a variety of cars and categories, food and souvenirs of all kinds, in addition to pleasant and bright rooms
Used this airport twice in the last few months. I am impressed with the amount of traffic that flows through here. Both experiences were positive. Some of the areas are under construction, however it is well marked. Quick tram to and from terminals.
This in-Airport rental is ACTUALLY IN THE AIRPORT (no desk then shuttling). Relatively quick. They try to sell you lots of stuff (insurance, GPS, Platepass), but in the end, this was a very smooth and pleasant transaction, even with a debit card! Helpful, courteous staff and nice cars.
Waiting almost 2 hours to get through border control after 16 hour flight really sucks. Happens every time. One CBP officer on duty for the visitors line. Very disappointing.
This airport is very easy to get around in. It has a good selection of restaurants and shops to check out while you wait.
Free Wi-Fi access works very good. Airport is clean, never chaos despite being a busy airport.
Large airport that can be confusing once you deboard your flight. Most baggage comes out in the A terminal.
Horrible customer service after our flight got canceled
Enjoying the free WiFi! Check in was a breeze considering it was busy Christmas season.
The place is a disaster! Give yourself plenty of extra time because the security check point is so crowded, slow moving and disorganized. I always feel that I m going to miss my flight. All gates funnel through only 2 checkpoints. Be prepared to wait. After all that, then you have to get on a tram to get to your gate and walk what feels like a mile.
South cellphone lot is great to wait for arrivals. Has nice 7-11 to get gasoline and refreshments.
Some of the employees are very rude and not helpful it is so difficult to navigate and no one is at the customer service desks!!! It is super hard to find your way around this airport we missed our flight because couldn t even find the terminal and when we finally got there a rude employee shoved her hand in customers faces saying they need to wait. She was the only one working there and she was being so rude. all the other employees had left so 5ere was only one line and she wasn t even taking people in her line. Out flight was at 9:24 AM and we were on standby until after 1:00 !
Terrible! Everything is shut down except burger king. I got a cold cheeseburger...almost fridge cold and Luke warm fries... Worst airport ever. Tampa is much much better.
Generally staff is really nice but they keep making mistakes if you decide to buy or change airplane tickets in person. Youre better off doing it online no matter what.
It's an airport. Driving to it is a huge pain, security could be eons better. However, there are plenty of food options, staff are generally nice, and there is WiFi + power in the terminals.
Terrible terrible TSA. They are extremely rude and don t communicate with people good at all.
One of the worst airports in America. And I fly quite a bit.
There is a very poor planning going on here, what happened ?
Apparently APM's are being replaced (the mini-trains, carry people from main concourse to gates). Arrived yesterday 12:45 AM already tired and grumpy after a long flight, and all the added hassles of air travel nowadays. There is a guy directing people to a stair case, trains are shut down due two maintenance. Well there is 4 of those isn't there, could you guys leave one operating ? Human arrow man (very nice guy by the way) says, "we're a little backed up, 3 flight arrived all together". Well no one looks at incoming flight manifest ? Hundreds of people fuming - waiting - no A/C in the area, babies are crying.. what a mess. Nearly half hour wait (apparently one of the buses also broke down with people in-it... ) we made our way to the bus to be transferred to other "gate" area. AND take the APM from that area back to main terminal. Explain this to me please, you guys piled all these people into buses why can't you take all to main terminal directly ? Better yet why can't you start maintenance after all incoming planes arrives ?? AND BETTER YET, why can't you use a gate where train works ??? None of these are big deal, a little coordination and RESPECT to passengers could take care of it. That is it, isn't it, passengers are nothing but a "number" for all. What a disappointing experience, shame on all of you.
I've been in and out of this airport what feels like a million times. Staff are not very attentive and don't seem to like answering questions. Still, It is a beautiful place with decor and such. They also have a lot of shops and restaurants.
This is a really big airport that gets quite busy. Nothing too different about the airport itself but the road to get there get really busy
Waiting in security check in line for an hour. Wasn t able to have enough time to eat.
When we began our trip, we arrived early, but the jet blue kiosks were all out of service. There were only 2 employees at computers to manually check in guests and print boarding passes. No one offered assistance. Then after the 1 hour fiasco, we had to wait another hour, as there was only 1 TSA agent checking passports and boarding passes. After that, there is a store which google stated was open at 430, but they insisted it was 5 and wouldn't help me get a bottle of water, which was all I needed.
Other than drop off area my experience was always positive with this airport.
Great Airport. Always a pleasure to fly in and out of Orlando airport
An appropriately varied, expansive, and kinetic gateway to metropolitan Orlando, the theme park capitol of the world. The schedule allowed time for a relaxing meal at the Chili's outside security, enhancing what can sometimes be a frenetic pre-flight "cattle drive."
Well designed and efficient processes.Allow ample time for security checks.
Airport wide and with all the comforts and connections, all very well detailed and signposted. It seems that one is in a shopping mall or mall since it has several shops, food shops and ample places to sit to charge the cell phone and a high speed wifi. Excellent
Filled with families trying to go to Disney World who know absolutely nothing about air travel. Everything takes forever as people try to take their half-full water bottles past security. The management isn't any better as there were 3 planes' worth of people at one baggage carousel
it was empty and only 2bplaces were open McDonalds and Dunkin Donut thanks for being open
Jetway did not work. They had to tow us to a different gate. Why are the exit doors by baggage claim not in use to allow easy exit and social distancing?
North Cell waiting area...No shade to park under, No wireless, No Verizon cell service... And the smell in the men's restroom was rancid!!!
Read all of this. Worst airport in the world. Guy in TSA took his time checking all of my baby sisters bottles and said we were taking too many bottles for the baby. Um what??? Then he finally decided ok "this is a one time thing I'm going to allow you to take the bottles" and he made us late to our flight! I wish I got his name so he can be fired! We got to the door and the lady said "you just missed it". So we had to book the next flight at 3:15. That flight got delayed until 6:20. We finally got on the plane and were supposed to take off at 6:51. Then they told us we cant take off because of the rain in Newark, New Jersey. We sat in the plane for 45 minutes and they told us we can get off the plane and take all our belongings because we cant take off. Horrible experience here. Imagine if the guy at TSA made us throw out the milk bottles. My baby sister would be starving for hours! Currently at the airport still waiting. Might have to sleep in the airport. Our luggage left on the flight we missed thanks to the TSA guy. So our luggage are in Jersey. Also we put my baby sisters stroller in the Airplane and they told us we cant take it out and my baby sister wont stop running around the airport so they have my 2 year old sister in a wheelchair. If I can give 0 stars I would.
It is a awesome airport easy to find your way through has a great slection of food, and has a lot of glass windows that draw the suns light into the terminal and makes feel more spacious and not so crowded and and can hold a lot of people and very friendly people to help you find your way. Thank you Orlando airport.
Doing a great job as always. I frequently fly through this airport. Their service and dedication has been consistently on point even through the COVID19 crisis. Thanks you, Billy Dyer and all for keeping us moving
Easy drop-off, clean airport, clean shuttle, nicely labeled gates
The airport itself is nice but there is not enough seating at the gates leaving a LOT of people standing and the place is run like a circus. TSA lines are crazy long so get there early. Be prepared for multiple gate changes for your flight as that is common here. Every time I use MCO it is a wild ride except during the middle of the night. I have been to many busy airports worldwide and this one just seems underprepared for the tourists it attracts.
Modern, well-signposted, several eating options and very clean bathrooms.
Terrible service from AA. Airport is easy to navigate, but a little disorganized.
Orlando isn't too bad of an airport. The struggle is that it's a HUGE airport, so the TSA Line always feels long. However, they're pretty efficient. Still, you have to show up early to get to your flight on time, especially during peak hours. 2 hours before your flight is a safe bet, although you're generally safe with 90 minutes on a domestic flight if you're a fast walker and don't need to check luggage
There are two terminals, one for domestic and one for international flights. Then there are monorails to take to the gates, so even though the airport is huge, the monorails help. And they run regularly and are one stop only, so you don't have to wait long or pay attention to your stop.
The main lobby has all kinds of shops and restaurants, especially for tourists. You can get all your Disney and Harry Potter gear here if you forgot to get it at the parks.
Once you take the monorail over to the gates, there are even more restaurants and stores. I recommend downloading the app Trippie to help you find the food you want.
Excellent sanitization measures, fast and highly efficient immigration and security steps, clean and organized facilities.
The staff that bring people on wheelchairs are rude, unprofessional and will argue with anyone like if they are in the streets. Very sad but they hire anyone
Very clean and efficient airport. I love traveling through here. I wish the plane wasn't full though.
Practically built airport that divides meaningfully through his arms the gates.
Nice airport. Easy parking. Safe to leave you car while you travel.
As airports go this is a great one. I moved through what looked like a long security line in under 20 minutes.
THE WORST AIRPORT IN THE WORLD, TERRIBLE. Rude workers.
If your picking someone up, don t be early. I ve been 6 times and have been unable to find the cell lot. I followed the signs and then nothing. I end up driving very slow in circles until my guests text me and then I go get them.
The Orlando International is an efficient airport with easy parking, shops, restaurants, and a great hotel if you have a long stay over between flights.
Huge and busy airport of usa. Small shuttle train for baggage is an experience.
Security check is a nightmare-disorganized! Suggestion: Headed to Southwest section go to the lines on the far RIGHT. If you go in left lanes you may miss your flight! Definitely take the 2 hour lead time as recommended.
The Orlando airport is a great place. It's got plenty of shops and offers free WiFi! I always love coming to this place when going to Disney! The only reason I give it 4 stars out of 5 is because it's not the nicest airport I've been to in my travels. I believe the airport could use a face-lift and offer more food and drink options within the terminals.
