Horrible experience with them. They don t have a stroller line but security was packed and very narrow lines so I was struggling to go through security then once I did. They security was rude and asked if I wanted to throw away my things that was liquids and I said I ve been through security with deodorant but okay throw it away I am going to be late because he was taking his time and then he said he s going through procedure. (VERY SLOWLY) and I said okay just please hurry and toss the deodorant and he said he was going to stop until i stopped and I wasn t doing anything but asking him to please hurry so I can NOT miss my flight. He purposely took his sweet time. I don t know if he was slow in the head or just had a bad day. Long story short. Worst airport experience.

Decent airport in need of an update. There isn't anywhere really to charge your devices here - on all the poles there's one outlet that is either not functioning or so worn our your plug won't stay in it without being propped up. Would LOVE to see this place get a cyber cafe where I can plug in, relax and have a drink while waiting for my departure. It'll warrant 5 stars from me then. Aside from that the lines move quickly and there's a fair amount of choices of shops and food. The train from the terminal to the gate is by far their coolest (and most advanced) feature.

In all fairness I did speak to the traffic security manager, and he was very polite, and I hope he will make corrections.

But I was very frustrated with the traffic control personnel blocking the road and not attempting to manage the traffic flow in Terminal A yesterday about 230pm.
I know they had higher concerns due to Belgium, however, manage traffic, control traffic, or get the heck out of the street and stop blocking traffic.

There's a lot to like about MCO like the shops, Hyatt hotel, food options, shuttle tram. But, I can't give it more than three stars because of TSA security lines that are normally humongous. Between that and understaffed airline personnel, travellers missing their flights is a common occurrence. They try to rush people though like they are herding cattle though checkpoints. Also, having to take elevators to get to/from ground transportation can also be a hassle at times. Soon, they won't be able to handle the volume of travellers unless they address/expand the TSA checks. My suggestion is to look into getting Clear Access because if your a somewhat regular flyer to/from Orlando, it may be worth getting.

My experience with this airport is a pleasant one but not good one. When we arrived the baggage claim carousel we were told our bags would be on was redirected to another carousel. We ordered an app ride pickup from the aiport but with two floors of possible areas for them to pull up it makes things unclear to where they should head. When leaving Orlando the security line is inconvenient due to the amount of gates they have per tsa security checkpoint (Gates 1-59). Should have fewer gates go through that one tsa checkpoint area. Tsa was friendly and informative going through the screening and airport staff were also nice. The Gate area was overcrowded and seats were much needed.

Check in clerk Ronaldo from Delta Airlines was very unprofessional and did not care to satisfy the customers experience. However the airport is very upscale and clean and light years ahead of the covid 19 pandemic.

It's very clean here. There's food places once inside, not a variety of options in my opinion. This airport can get very busy especially during the holidays! It runs a lot smoother now and it helps when you have TSA!

This airport was my favorite one, whatever ppl used to say about it now it s becoming the worst ... even worse than LAX !!! OMG everytime my sister pick me up the security who time ppl not to stand except for 2 mins are making it the worst airport and so hard ... my feet was hurting me and I was running to catch my sister who only waited for 2 mins and the officer threatened to give her a ticket if she didn t move, she kept telling her that I am coming but she was so rude ... what s going on MCO ?? Orlando is a touristic destination and expected for ppl to get lost or walk to the car on 2 mins ... I wasn t on the curb ... I saw my sis leaving ... this is not good ... not good for a big airport like MCO

Welcome to Florida!

Welcome to Florida!
Spent the first 2 hours of our holidays STUCK in customs area.
All passengers on plane detained in a room before joining the longest, slowest line to enter this wonderful country.
No air con. No water. No rest for the weary traveller.
Felt sorry for the children having to endure the conditions after an 8 hour flight.
Why reduce the number of customs agents when you've still got 300 people waiting to be cleared???
The airport needs to work with customs to offer a better welcome to foreign visitors.

I was disappointed when my flight with American Airlines was delayed but then after 8 hours of waiting to board they canceled it and I had to get a hotel room and wait till the next day. I was very upset. They did pay for the hotel but now I am still missing my connecting flight and have to purchase my own rental car to get from Dallas to my final destination. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Worst airport I have been to in a long time. Completely unorganized and chaotic going through security. I went and got breakfast at a different gate, only to find out I then had to go back through security again even though we never left the secured area. DUMB! Take a lesson from other airports like Phoenix Sky Harbour, where you can move around freely behind the secured area. There bathrooms were unclean, and half of the stalls were out of service (bathroom #304). And, the Wi-Fi does not work.

If you plan on leaving your car at the airport, arrive early. Parking signs are poorly lit. Due to construction on the road you have to drive 5 miles and turn around to get in to Parking lot. I will try to use a diffrent airport next time.

Orlando is a very busy airport for its size. It is Well laid out with shops and amenities. Including gift shops from area attractions like Kennedy Space Center, SeaWorld, and Disney ... in case you need a last minute gift.

If you're picking up a rental car from one of the major national-chain rental car agencies, chances are pretty good you can still pick up your car right at the terminal. It's one of the perks that still exists in Orlando. If you're renting from a second-string or discount agency, and there are a lot of them in Orlando, expect quite a long ride out to a main lot off property.

The main drawback for this airport is they have had challenges over time growing and adapting to TSA screening as passenger volume increases. While they try hard, it is not as large a TSA screening facility as the traffic to the airport can sometimes demand. Wait times can exceed an hour, other times, you can breeze on through in about 20 minutes. So be sure to plan in advance.

I really don t like to be critical of the airport, but there are some issues that need to be worked out. Going through security isn t bad but the TSA isn t friendly or efficient. Airport employees walking around using profanity. Long term parking was great. Get here early because things can back up quickly!

You can see everyone's personal items during the scanning process and they will break your suitcase lock during their "random" searches and not replace it. They will even have the audacity to then leave your broken suitcase lock in your suitcase, like one last spit in the face when you get home.

I have only flown Southwest, domestic, out of this airport. I find it rather easy to navigate and have never had any major issues. My only complaint is the bathrooms were bad. I think almost half of the stalls in the woman's bathroom were broken, which meant very long lines. It wasn't the cleanest either. The security lines for domestic are around 30 minutes to get through for the times I've traveled. Terminal A has a food court with McDonalds, Chipotle, Asian Chao, Villa Italian Kitchen, Jersey Mike's, a smoothie place, Starbucks, and Cask and Lader. Down by the gates there is a Johnny Rivers Grill and Market. There is also a Hudson books and gift store, along with a few others. All the employees I have encountered were friendly and professional.

I am a Florida resident and continue to be disappointed in the security of this airport. They recently changed the setup but it hasn t helped. Lines are extremely slow. I ve traveled to many domestic and international destinations and MCO is by far the worst and least efficient airport I have experienced.

Given how far you have to walk just to get ticketed and then get to security, you'd think they'd have more benches throughout the terminals. At least the TSA people do a good job of getting everyone through relativey quickly without compromising security.
