This is the 3rd time in a year Iv ordered with them but they have let them selfs down year again! The wait times are ridiculous! They have been late on all three occasions this time being 2 hours for a chow main and some ribs so not a huge amount and yet again the food was cold! And all you get is sorry sorry as they rush you off the phone!

Placed order, online... Time of delivery would be 75mins, which did seem abit long for a Tuesday, but went ahead. Hour and half later, food arrived, but food was stone cold. Rang them for replacement which would take 1/2 hr. Arrived 1/2 hr later, driver appoliges. Food this time was checked, and hot. Food ordered, not great, but we were hungry. Certainly a bad experience and would not be using anymore.
Been using for this place for over 3 years, the food is always remarkable and they are making new dishes and is excellent. The fire cracker chicken is fantastic and the noodles is fresh and the perfect accompiant. The best thing is to see the open kitchen, as it s always clean. They should do tofu dishes to be fair or more Thai dishes .
Would reorder. Loved the Chicken Dish. Service was earlier than we thought which was great. Free food was a nice thought and thank you but too much food overall for us. Loved the flavour in the curry was incredible!

Was told delivery would be 70 mins at 7:50pm it arrived 38 minutes late when their app still stated that delivery time was between a 55 and 60 minute wait. Just a note that I ordered on their own app not just eat and only live a 5 minute drive away. When it finally arrived it was soggy and luke warm. Ridiculous amount of time for some chicken balls and chips. Had no contact from the store to let me know my order was delayed. Seriously disappointed as this isn t the first time this has happened. Wish I hadn t payed online as I would have just made food at home, waste of money.
Chose this place after it was recommended on a local group and it was perfect. Ordered for 12 people and we all loved it. Piping hot, earlier than we thought it would be, delicious and delivered with a smile (I don t know why but this makes a huge difference ). This is my new regular.
Very disappointed. Ordered the Chinese at 1830 through the app has had read a previous review that they had issues on just eat. Could not get through to Oriental chef all evening as line busy to check on order. Finally got through at about 2200 and they said it was on route now. Food arrived at 2300. Understand it might be busy but a better system needs to be worked out or stop taking online orders as looking at reviews on here and on just eat you can't seem to cope. Disappointed in the taste of the food too. Will not be using again and do not recommend
Ordered food and it took 2 and a half hours to come. There was no apology and the driver just said 'you have to pay' when I said how long it took. Food was only warm and tasted awful. Would never use this place ever again. I don't not recommend it.
I wouldn't even give it a star if I could the food was not acceptable and the customer service appalling they were so rude on the phone. The order took well over an hour and a half not the est 50mins. The food was cold the rice was clumpy had to drink loads to wash it down, the beef chow main was so dry that I choked on the beef, prawn toast?... more like prawn oily soggy bread and the sweet and sour sauce was perfumy. My family also had other complaints including uncooked food watery sauces and even hairs. Will never go here again absolutely disgusting!!!
Definitely one of our favorite takeaways on our books, me and the family love to order from here. Food is good and taste fresh! Feel confident to order from here as it s open kitchen and has a 5 star hygiene which is also a bonus!

Thoroughly enjoyed our set meal. So much sophistication for a takeaway. Just amazing. I found many of dishes perfect, the duck was tender and not to fatty, pancakes, salad pot and sauce was great addition. The sweet and sour was not to sour and was balanced great.
literally one of the most amazing Chinese. I recommend the salt and pepper chilli chips, and black bean beef, just so tender and faultless. The service is great as well. They give you free prawn crackers.

Absolutely one of the best in long Eaton for Chinese delivery. The food here is always beautiful and piping hot when being delivered. Delivery service was very fast and came within and hour on Saturday. The honey sesame chicken is gorgeous, the perfect acompiant with a side dish, the beef in black bean is tasty and great; as when requesting to adjust, they are willing to do it, also the salt and pepper chicken is nice and tender. I'm quite a regular now and the food is always piping hot and everything from the king prawn dishes to chicken is always fresh. They're able to cater for large parties as they can help me choose what i want and what they can provide me The staff and always happy and smiling. Overall Great service and excellent food, overall highly recommend.
I'm so picky. Extra crunchy chips asked for every time and always they are perfect. Not long on waiting for my meal very tasty and staff are very helpful. Honey sesame chicken is the best!

I order regular from this takeaway however i got the worst customer sevice this evening from a male member of staff. My order arrived and for the first time ever i had to send it back due to the chow mein and the meat in it being cold. The take away kindly sent another one however the male member of staff who had already been rude over the phone the questioned me as to why i am sending the old one back when he dropped off a new one to which i explained id told the lady over the phone id send this back so they can see. So whilst 8 1/2 months pregnant stood at my front door he argued about the fact im sending it back and told me not to bloody order from them again.i phoned to complain and was told they would have a word so god knows if anything was said to him or not! Absolutely disgusting manner and myself nor my family will ever order from here again now. Rude staff=lose customers. Lovely food, the chicken satay was superb, nice and tender. The rice was fluffy, and delivery came just under 45 minutes, arrived piping hot will definitely order again

Very poor experience, ordered a small portion and was told it would be between 30-40 minutes. Ended up waiting 2.5 hours with no call in regards to an update or the reason behind the delay. Phoned the staff however they were rather rude and disinterested, was placed on hold several times. Had to ring twice, first time I rang them asking how long I was told it s be about 15/20 minutes. Rang again an hour later being told it hadn t even been cooked yet nor was the driver ready. Understand places like this can be busy and stressful especially in peak times for the staff however the service and slowness was by far the worst compared to other Chinese takeaways around the area. Cannot comment on taste as I decided to cancel in the end. Was more disappointed with the service on the phone rather than the long wait.
Don't accept orders if you can't cope with the demand and deliver when you say you will deliver. Over 3hours me and my kids waited for. I ended up making them food because you didn't answer the phone and then it turned up. So I've paid nearly 30.00 and wasted a meal for my kids. Not a time we need to be wasting meals. I want my money back but I can't seem to get in touch unless it's opening times and your too busy to talk to your customers.

This is the third time I have ordered from here. The first two times, the food was cold... wrote a review.. I decided 7 months later to try again and hopefully it would be better. I have to say, absolutely awful! The food was stone cold! I live less than 3 minute drive to the restaurant. How they cannot seem to make food hot is beyond me! Avoid this place! Awful!

The food here is fantastic but the delivery is absolutely shocking. The "live" time on the website is definitely not live at all. We were told it would be 55 minutes, then 90 minutes. Eventually we were waiting for 2 and a half hours for our food to arrive and heard nothing from the restaurant. We had to phone up twice to be told when our food would arrive with no explanation as to the delay. Again, we can't fault the food but the lack of communication from the restaurant on delivery is really really disappointing.
Our local Chinese and the food is very good. Decent price for very generous sized portions enough for the next day for lunch, fast service and generally great service all round.

Oriental Chefis one of the better takeaways for Chinese food to come along in awhile. The food is fresh and tasty. The Beef Garlic Black Bean sauce is one of my favourites. My family also enjoys ordering Honey Sesame Chicken and Salt and pepper king prawn. Vegetables are crisp and fresh. Servings are plentiful. This is a place you will never leave hungry.
Good tasting yummy food, enjoyed everything we ordered! You need to try the honey sesame chicken for sure! Wow. Also their chicken dumplings was amazing, the filling was excellent and the overall main courses were superb. My 3rd time around, definitely was good and will be my regular to go.

I was staying over night in Nottingham, and ask staff at my hotel which has good decent food and this place popped up! Wow. The food was amazing, high quality and very tasty, the honey chicken dish was yummy and the big pancake roll was so fresh and perfect. The satay sauce is very nice and much better than my normal takeaway overall. If I had another trip to Nottingham, I would order again! Highly recommended!
Been going here for over a year now. Everything here is excellent! The meat and vegetables are great as well.
Not awful but not even good either. Expensive for the amount of food and the food quality (meal quality, at least) isn't even satisfactory, let alone good. Some of the food items were slightly greasy. Save yourself the disappointment and your money. It's worth getting Chinese food from the Wollaton area, instead.

We used to love this place, just gone downhill, omelette yet again, so much salt in it you will physically be sick, just ruins the whole meal. Chips... green, wont be going back.
ordered from here three times and every time they have literally forgotten about our order??? said they would provide us a discount on the next order but that never happened, my last order took 2 hours to arrive!???? the one before that took just under 4! phone is unresponsive, food not warm when it arrived, awful service.
Awful service, ordered at 17.39 with a delivery time of 20.28 waited till 21.10 and rang as still no delivery we were told it was on its way to be fair it was here about 21.30 but the food was luke warm and meat was rubbery, will not be returning
If you like your Chinese food to taste the same, like most places.. these are not your guys! Menu comprises of well seasoned food without flavour enhancing sodium. Their beef isn't chewy at all!! Thinly sliced and melts in the mouth! Their salt and pepper chips are extra crispy and not soggy like other takeaways! The app is a little confusing, but you can add or take away anything from all dishes. I recommend beef satay, salt and pepper chips/chicken/prawns, chicken gyoza (take lid off as soon as you get them), lemon chicken, Thai crispy chicken(comes with rice) chicken sweetcorn soup (I like extra pepper), roast pork fried rice and their duck pancakes are amazing!! I don't like cucumber so I ask for lettuce instead.

Ordered our food at 5:45 and ended up waiting 3 hours before it finally got delivered! The food was very cold when it finally arrived. I understand that they are very busy at this time but maybe don't take on so many delivery orders if the demand cannot be met within a reasonable time and your quality of food is slipping. I don't think you will find many people who would class a 3 hour delivery time acceptable! Very disappointed.
Never ordered here before but with current health scare it s 5* hygiene rating was vital. The flavour and quality of the food was exceptional. Beautifully lean beef in the beef in black bean sauce with green peppers and garlic - it s flavour and quality the best tasted in many years, from anywhere. The pork fried rice had a distinct flavour and was amazing, whilst the fried rice component of the meal was tasty and well seasoned. There was enough of the pork fried rice for me to have two generous servings from it as a main meal in itself. Chips arrived crispy and plentiful. The entire order was really hot when it arrived; literally steaming hot. We were so glad we took a chance on ordering from somewhere new. The Cheesecakes are simply incredible and indulgent, the cookie dough and Ferrero Rocher cheesecake was exemplary

Food was luke warm if that, the chow mein was bland and tasteless. Food was 20 minutes late. Even the prawn crackers weren't great, even for free I'd class them as poor value for money. What Chinese Restaurant cant even get prawn crackers right?

Food is always nice but the delivery time if always quite long. I don't normally mind this as it is my favourite Chinese take away. However, the last 2 times I have ordered it has been late. The first time 20 minutes late and tonight 45 minutes late, meaning it took 2 hours and 20 minutes from ordering to delivery.
Fantastic guys, thank you very much! Had to wait a while for food to be delivered but was given a smile when I opened the bag. These guys had thrown in a couple extras in there with a couple messages written on the tubs, awesome touch. Arrieved bang on time, hot food, cold drinks, packaged carefully. The food was really yummy. The 'happy family' black bean dish was tasty, Singapore noodles were nice and spicy, all the crispy things arrived crispy, no soggy seaweed or spring rolls. Will definitely order from here again.

Ordered crispy chicken in lemon sauce and egg fried rice, delivery was on time and very friendly but rice was cold and the chicken had been transported in the sauce so by the time it arrived it was soggy and completely unappealing, looked like chicken mash in lemon sauce I rang the restaurant and basically got told there is nothing they are willing to do, won't be ordering again and I would advise avoiding the chicken in lemon sauce.. unless a soggy mess is your thing.

What a find! We were in here to get food two days running. The food is excellent with no salty aftertaste and the chili chicken dish I had was superb. Everybody in our party of six raved about the delicious food and the wide range of drinks and desserts were also a big hit. Very nice owners who take pride in serving the finest food. Highly recommended.
