Magnificent place, a very nice place to share a coffee, a walk or just fall in love with the views of the landscape.
The place is full of life and places to have something to eat and eat, everything very clean and the service very pleasant. I recommend it.

Very poor bar service received. He was an Asian bar server and did not have a good attitude and ruined the atmosphere there. He didn't want to be there and served at the bar as if he was doing you a favour. Won't be back to that bar for a drink especially with that service for the price of drinks no thansk!

this place is sooo packed at night. so we went back in the morning when it's empty for better picture-taking. great view of the harbor and there was no one around the opera bar. we didn't drink here but it looks like a cool place at night to hang out with friends.

If you are young this is a great place to meet friends have a drink and a snack. If you are a little older like me then the noise levels and crowds may be a negative. My wife and I met a small group here for a get together before dinner. The views are great if you can get a seat up near the water.

As you would expect this is a good place to meet before going to the Opera house for a performance.

Access is probably a bit dodgy for wheelchairs from memory especially given the crowds and the toilets are shared with other establishments along this part of the Opera house forecourt do not located directly at the Opera Bar but a bit further along the foreshore.

Our visit was on a Saturday evening and there was a live band playing.

Cheers

Loved this place! The young man that took care of us was quick, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for reasonably priced meals, along with that friendly atmosphere.

In the past this has been a great experience but the seagulls made this terrifying and annoying . Swooping down and grabbing at the plate of food the instant the protective cover was raised made it deeply unpleasant. We moved under cover to be able to eat, limiting the view. What happened to the man with the dog that would patrol and scare away the birds? Staff having to run around with water spray bottles was ridiculous and a waste of their time since it only cleared the birds for a matter of seconds

A fabulous spot to have drink and take in the views and I would have given 5 stars except the food was dreadful. The small, ingredient-poor chorizo pizza was undercooked and the chicken satay sticks were very dry and more like chicken jerky sticks. But still a must place to visit whilst in Sydney.

Food was okay. Drink selection not bad. If you want to dine here, make sure you have views of the Harbour Bridge to avoid disappointment. Staff are snobby and service rushed. If your willing to pay for views while eating, this place is a must.

Beautiful location. However the staff that I had today. Blond haired girl with pony tail. She was extremely rude and sassy giving us attitudes when we asked politely if she could wipe our dirty table.
All of our meals came out staggered... not a big deal however the last meal didnt show up till 25 minutes after everyone had finished eating. We saw our drinks sitting up at the bar... so I finally walked up to the bar to ask if it was our tables drinks, they said yes. So I ended up serving my family.
When I put in a complaint with the manager he seemed like he couldn't be bothered. Absolutely disappointed in the service and will never be back

Located directly underneath the Sydney Opera House this place is both relatively upscale and relatively upward in terms of prices - but don't let either of those to dissuade you from visiting one of the most iconic locations in the world and enjoying the drinks and food here because it is worth every penny/dollar. Sensational views that would take even the most hardened of breaths away, you simply must visit Opera Bar anytime you visit Sydney -- and I should know I lived there for 10 years and every time I return I always pay it a visit or three.

The food was very expensive and my pizza (see photo) looked like it was a frozen pizza bought from Coles. If I'm going to spend over inflated prices for food I at least expect it to be somewhat impressive.... Overall a disappointing experience.

1/10 for food.

Great food and great location but long delays at the bar ordering food and drink meant that our group was split for extended periods. The bar staff pickup glasses every 5 minutes (even taking champagne glasses with a bottle of champagne still in use) so why can't the take a food and drinks order? We'd have easily ordered twice as much while sitting there. Queueing to buy food at $30 a plate isn't fun.

Exceptional atmosphere with the best views of Sydney Harbour including the harbour bridge, opera house and all the high rise buildings surrounding the quay.
Ample seating and tables with good music and a good variety of food on the menu. Indoor and outdoor seating and this place is massive. No waiting at bars cause they are so quick and efficient.
Highly recommended for partners and all groups to visit and enjoy an amazing night wow wow wow. I will definitely be back...

Opera Bar is a excellent place to go for after works drinks, lunch meetups with clients or friends, or just some casual drinks and gaze up at the Opera House. The better parts that you can order the food from any of the local restaurants around the Opera House and they bring it over, and it's great food! I would highly recommend this place for travellers to show off Sydney to their friends and family, or to business people looking for a great place to have a meeting and impress the partners.
