You won't find many bars with a better view anywhere in the world! If you're in town and want to check out the sights then try coming here for a couple of cold beers. It will not disappoint.

First day in Australia and I'm blown away! Great views, great drinks, mad vibez. Wide selection of beers, cocktails, wines and food. It was my birthday so this was the best of the best for my big day. P.s order the fish and chips! SUPER crunchy

Nice place just out side the Sydney Opera House. Loved the Fish and Chips they have and the Apple cider However if you are sitting outside be careful of the seagulls. They are now used to people and always looking to grab something out of your plate

Really recommend this hotel. Nice staff, nice surroundings, food ok.

Beautiful setting. Was extremely disappointed with the food we had. Chucken skewers were over cooked and tough and the pork sausage just wasn't anything I'd order again. Chips are beautiful and prawn pizza was tasty however base was slightly undercooked.

I will tell you one thing about Opera Bar, you've gotta be a high roller to drink here or eat here. Once you see the prices your eyes will light up like dinner plates.

Rather crowded bar, but right next to the opera house with a magnificent view of the Harbor Bridge. Very loud and the food rather mediocre and expensive. But for a glass of wine you can go well.

Wonderful place in such an iconic location. Really hard to find a most amazing setting to have a drink or two and some food. Whether you are lucky to get a table outside, inside or a cushion seat by the wall it all is rather magical. Always busy but so worth it. Prices are very reasonable and no cover charge or need to dress up, very casual and feels very Sydney.

A place to have a drink with Harbor Bridge and Opera House view

Self service for drinks, food is ordered and paid at the counter but served at your table. This iconic location in the heart of Sydney is never boring. Come around 16:00 for sundowner and enjoy the great multi cultural atmosphere while life-music is presented by local talented musicians. Great after a stroll around the quays to chill and enjoy the stunning environment. After 10 years of visiting I still can t get enough of this hot spot.

View spectacular but got seafood platter very disappointing - $80 gets you 2 prawns 2 miniature scallops some squid and 4 fingers of fish - plus chips and sweet potato . An absolute rip off ! Premium price and less value than a $15 seafood basket at a club. Really need to pick your game up. Menu very average very limited selection. Get the seafood platter for $80 at la perouse boatshed and the difference is astounding . Drinks overpriced but you are paying for the view. Staff were friendly .

This place is pricey but the view and setting is spectacular. Give it a go at least once. Parking is an issue, but if you either go by public transport or get an uber it's a great place. The tram (light rail) and train station is a short walk and the taxi rank is close.

I went here for the first time last night with my friends to celebrate a Bride to be and it was honestly the best night I have had in the city. To start, the view is stunning no matter which way your facing. The cocktails are amazing and the food was delicious (Highly recommend trying the salt and pepper squid, and prawn cocktail, they are to die for!!!). The staff provided amazing service and made us feel like we were VIPs for the night. I will probably be a regular there now so thank you so much to everyone at Opera Bar who made it such a wonderful experience!!!

Great view and great vibes. Disappointing food. Prawn linguine was so tasteless and terrible, not worth $30.

This place is amazing in the summer but I was pleasantly surprised after finding myself here on a winter's night. The vibe was great with a live band and the obvious amazing view of the Opera House/Harbour Bridge.

Over priced drinks that are mixed terribly and good views that don't make up for it.
Note: sprite is a terrible mixer and more so when the drink is made weak. Any other lemonade will do.

One of the unmissable places of the beautiful Australian capital to remember is certainly this! On a beautiful sunny afternoon take a cafe and a lemon dessert in this bar makes you feel ... in the center of the world! You feel at home even on the other side of the globe.

Good food and vibes. Great place to go and meet new people, especially for the younger generation.

We sometimes meet out of town friends here. Usually, this is place is jam packed but on Sundays you can have this place almost to yourselves (starting at around 6:30-7pm). Nice view of harbor and bridge with a sneak peek of the Opera House. Food is very good with reasonable prices. Order at the bar and food gets delivered at your table. Al fresco dining with the best seats overlooking the bridge. Live bands play during peak hours. I just wish they served my fav brew on tap but the others will do.

The food, drinks and venue was very lovely. Have been multiple times and have always enjoyed their services.

A regular stop every time we're in Sydney. Outstanding cocktails with a great outdoor area and live music to enjoy the early evening. Makes it far too easy to get hammered without requiring any effort to do so.

After a long walk enjoying the sites of downtown Sydney, the Opera Bar offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the bay.

Fast service, nice food, reasonably priced, great views, a litttle busy and loud noise, but if you like speedy service it suits a quick bite. Will be going back over and over

It is one of my favorite places to have a drink, have dinner while you can enjoy the best views of Sydney. He is a must.

Loved it before an Opera House event. Plenty of action and not loud music. Good selection of beer and wine. I also enjoyed a tasty pizza. Topped by the view.

Excellent customer service from all the staff 10/10.

They should have more vegetarian options. Everytime I go there, I get to eat only Margherita pizza or wedges. Otherwise good location, good service, good taste.

Service was slow and restaurant was out of fish and chips for lunch on a Friday. Otherwise great location, excellent quality food. Very cute and skilled seagull patrol dog!

As per everyone else's comments the view is to die for. I found the staff really friendly and attentive. The food was nice but have had far better in suburban restaurants. Having said that would definitely go again...fab place to sit and chill.

Beautiful and spectacular location for drinks and nibbles

Good prices for the food and drinks, given the exceptional location. Gets very packed in summer. A must come for tourists to just chill and enjoy Sydney harbour.
