What a view!! Enjoy great food and cocktails at opera bar!!!
It is an excellent place with an exquisite atmosphere recommended
The quintessential Sydney experience. Can't really beat the view and the food/drinks match well. Get here early to get a good spot.
Epic view of the harbor bridge but pretty expensive and it can get very busy too
Great view of harbour bridge and opera house from the restaurant. Food and drinks are at reasonable price. Great connectivity to train and bus stations. Also accessible by ferries at reasonable price. Has underground paid parking.
Great views of the tourist spots in Sydney. Prices for food and drinks are as expected for the area.
Everything was good but I guess I was expecting more
Of course the views are amazing, but surprisingly comfortable and plentiful seating and the prices were more reasonable than many Sydney bars. Feels more like your favorite afternoon than a tourist trap.
Ok food and drinks... DAMN impressive view. The view alone makes this place. That's not to say anything bad about the food/drinks/staff, but they're OK at best. The view, that's AAA.
Spending time with a drink and that fantastic view is just a must, drinks are cheap for the great spot.
Right next to opera house overlooking the harbor bridge is one of the best place for a snack with a little disturb of seagulls ;)
A fine selection of food and drink in a world class setting. I've enjoyed a few decent meals with friends. Great live music is a regular fixture.
Absolutely Lovely location with Opera house view especially in good weather. fish and chips was so crunchy and nice.
Exceptionally rude, poor and unwelcoming customer service. The girl at the entry (Sweets) was the worst customer experience my husband and I ever had.
The pizzas were awesome and wow what a great view of both the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Opera house
What a view and beautiful place. Only thing is my wig blew off into the water
This place has a great view and it's a great spot to bring visitors because of it but it's therefore very touristy and a bit over priced. The food and drinks are fairly average and its usually really busy so had to find a table. Really you go for the view so if that's what you want this is a good choice for you
It is a must to do before the opera. Just felt too touristy
Great for outdoor dining, just beware of the seagulls! Price tag is a bit hefty but the view and atmosphere is worth it
Happy hour weekdays from 5-6pm, then Oysters for $1 each from 6-7pm...can't beat that....topped off by the best view in Sydney!
Love it, I always come here for a coffee when I'm in Sydney
Food is great , a bit slow being made, seagulls are annoying
Amazing place to hangout with friends, but too crowded in the evenings
Love the app they have to make ordering drinks easy! Lovely place to sit back and watch the world go by
Beautiful, luxurious bar underneath the Opera House. Lovely when the weather is nice to look out over Sydney Harbor.
It was really good and the view was second to none. If you want to dine in a location where you can see both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House at the same time then this is the spot. It s always pretty busy and we had to wait 20 minutes for drinks and 40 minutes for drinks. So make sure you go for the experience and not a quick feed on your way to somewhere else.
The best place to take tourists for a drink and one of the best views in Sydney. Down side it can get super busy and the seagulls can be out of control.
Special place for drinks and coffee ..Fabulous views, great staff..very comfortable .
Great view on the Sydney bay and Harbour Bridge. Also great life music at the bar.
Absolutely fabulous ! The Friday evening band (trio) were amazing ...
Beautiful location, Great Atmosphere...Awesome late night hangout.. Love it!
Great view, a bit pricey, and generally rude staff from the surely bar tender to the security staff who shoo you along if you pause for a moment to decide which restaurant you re going to stop at. Stayed for a drink with friends, but probably wouldn t come back.
Alfresco dining at its best ; the place to be if you get there early for Vivid Show May to June
Always happy to grab a drink at the Opera Bar. The view and the setting are really worth a visit. Ok variety of drinks and average food selection, hence the 4 stars. Service is great, everyone smiling and friendly. Ah, be aware of the rather aggressive and annoying seagulls that torment you full time trying to snitch some food off your plate.
Come here for the view, don t come here for the prices or the crowd
The manager women with blonde hair is amazing and fast service:) Drinks could be abit better tho..
A nice way to take in the sights of sydney, nestled beside the operahouse, viewg the waterways and harbour bridge. A nice lunch and great wine and profession staff.
Recommend this as a great place to drink a beer and take on the Opera House. Cheaper then I would have expected for the location.
Always a good spot to have a drink or a feed with good mates. The views are spectacular (best in the world)and you could never ask for a better place to relax.
This place has got to be one of the best locations for a drink in Sydney. It is located under the Opera House and looks over the harbour. You would think that this place would be overpriced but surprisingly it is similar to most bars around Sydney. The only negative for this place is after a long night of drinking the last thing you want to do is a long walk to the taxi ranks.
Classic spot with a great view and menu, albeit a little pricey
Opera Bar has the most incredible vista in Sydney. As it s popular with tourists and locals alike, it can be difficult to get a coveted spot overlooking the harbour but well worth waiting it out. On my most recent visit, they had installed electronic me&u tap and order points so you didn t need to leave your seat to order or collect your drink/food as it s all done from your phone. Don t worry if you don t have data as there s free WiFi. And to top it off, they have regular live music. A visit to Sydney demands a visit.
Favourite place to catch up in the day for a few drinks, and before you know it it's nightfall. Great views
Place near the Opera House is a nice place with outdoor table and not too high prices.
Great atmosphere. Outstanding views. Efficient service. Really nice meals. Drinks overpriced and not consistently priced. Different staff members charged different prices. But overall, it was very enjoyable.
New menu is limited Fisherman's feed was average
Always a beautiful spot for a drink with an amazing view of the Opera house and harbour bridge
Want to feel the buzz of Sydney then you must hangout here. Live music, awesome views, and amazing crowd.
Incredible views. Spend the last hour in Sydney here for a lazy afternoon.
Great buzz here. You're bound to bump into someone you know
Wonderful place with music! However, there is often no place to fall, so many people
Mojitos were very weak, felt like it only had one shot but the view is great especially during this humid Summer.
Beautiful & Amazing views. Gets very crowded in the evening after work though. Best is to Grab a drink at dawn and enjoy the sunset on a clear (or partly cloudy) day... you will not be disappointed. Fresh air and a cool environment. Prices are obviously a bit higher than elsewhere, but it s well worth it.
Opera Bar! What happened with your kitchen? Ordered two dishes: 1. Sticky chicken = cremated chunks of unidentifiable origin drowned in the sickening sweet dark brown something. 2. Grilled octopus was just 'on the turn ' accompanied by a lump of solidified bright orange substance which meant to be romesco.
Never been disappointed, great service and choice of eats.
Great quality food and was reasonably priced given the location
The view alone is enough for me to recommend Opera Bar. The prices are as high as you would expect and the service is pretty good, but being able to sit up on the edge of the harbour (with the Bridge and Opera House both in perfect view) is really the reason to go here.
Words can not convey the many unique climate ...the most beautiful view in sydney mayby even in australia ...favorite places to spend time with friends... opera Bar is also a place for ... corporate event press conference cocktail party photo sessions stag
Please can some one tell me in details about this place.
If you can go there, do so. The place is fantastic. ( I went there 2 years ago and will be going back next year. I thoroughly recommend that you have a look.
Service slow but a nice place to relax before a show.
Awesome atmosphere at a world class location - dancing between the iconic Sydney harbour bridge & next to the opera house.
Expensive, but the views are stunning. Well worth the money if you have enough to spare.
Busy place. Expensive drink. Fantastic views of Opera house, Bridge and CDB
Expensive and the seagulls are super annoying (despite the staff's best efforts). Can't argue with the location though!
