The staff are uninterested and treat customers like they are a burden. I know there are fines if they don t follow covid rules but customers feel constantly in the wrong. Just smile and talk nicely when you have to explain rules. Awful experience. The main male waiter checking people in was particularly rude. He wouldn t even look at you when you talk to him.

Great view , great cocktail menu and fantastic atmosphere. Just be careful you don't accidently order from the opera bar and then go try and sit in the opera kitchen section or vice versa. You'll get kicked out. Bit silly really. We sat at the wall literally on the edge of the opera bar section so technically we were in the opera kitchen section. They refused to give me my food untill we moved! Same with drinks - if you order at the opera kitchen bar and make your way to the opera bar section they will refuse your entry untill you drink up!

A great bar in Sydney. It's a especially good choice to bring out of town visitors when the weather is good. Being located just off the Opera house and with good views of Sydney habour, including the bridge, it's a great way to show off the city.

The food is a good standard for bar food and they do really nice cheese and charcuterie plates if you like these.

The Opera Bar is a spectacular place to visit at any time of day. The views from the outdoor seating overlook the Sydney Harbour Bridge and of course the iconic Sydney Opera House. You can either order and pay at the bar or get table service outside. Bear in mind that if you do sit and order food outside, you may be surrounded by annoying seagulls wanting some of your food if you leave it uncovered or unattended. The wait staff do provide you with covers for your meal which is really handy.

Pre-booked the parking, which was extremely reasonable. Took the kids for nibbles and an ice cold apple juice. Great service, incredible views, always a fantastic atmosphere. The girls were mesmerised by the fine mist spray coming out of the sunbrellas. Simple pleasures...

Great location, insane best in world views. Frighteningly expensive, often insanely crowded + bonus seagulls pinching your food. If you can afford a cocktail at $23 a go, they are decent.

Perfect weather today (temperature-wise at least, there was a lot of smoke haze though) and a perfect view. Happy hour prices are good and the location really can't be bettered to feast your eyes upon two of Sydney's biggest icons - the Opera house and the Harbour bridge

Wonderful spot to spend the evening with colleagues. Reasonable prices and a good selection of drinks and food.

Love the location, but the lack of shade umbrellas at all tables is something to consider if you are not used to the climate :)

Had always wanna go grab a drinks but it is always pack and full of people every time and well, all the time. Sometimes it get worst during the evening.
Since they having the promotion of $ 1 of oysters during the month of November, I got a few oyster fan mate of mine to drop by for some real deal.
We were there on Wednesday evening where they started from 6 pm to 7 pm. Already the place were quite pack from inside out.
Oysters were good we had a few dozens of it with bottle of champagne. The place are so so noise we practically had to shout to talk.
Too bad the oyster bar closed 10 minutes early at 6.50 pm when we was thinking of getting last round. Oh well, till next year perhaps.

For its location alone, Opera Bar is pretty cool. You'll struggle to find a seat when it gets busy and drink prices are too high. But it's all about the view really. Take in the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and wait for the sun to go down.

Served my man named GREGOR, extremely extremely rude man, spoke with condescending attitude and asked us to leave straight away without warning that the bar would be closed soon. Paper straws were too thin for thick slushie cocktail to go through, asked a waiter for new straw and he said I just want to clear this table can you ask the bar? Saw GREGOR pick his nose and ears. This should not be seen in a hospitality environment.

I've been here many times and have never had a bad experience. I love the White Opera Iced tea on the cocktail menu. Go on a summer's day and you'll have a brilliant view of the Harbour Bridge and the ferries going by.

$150 for 2 fish and chips ,1 salmon 6 oysters 2 beers and water. Got caught in the tourist trap with family in town. And they make you down load an app to order the food and they still get the order wrong 0/10 customer service. Smashing glass all over the table and having to ask to replace the drinks. Nice view of the harbour. Thank you for contacting me in person ,but when a waitress thinks it's exceptable to leave fresh drinks on the table when a glass has clearly been smashed on the table ,that shows be a lack of training and WHS issues and potential very dangerous of the clients swallowing glass. I realised your rent is high due to the location. But seriously the food was very avarage and disappointing. The oysters were fresh but the fish and chips were below average and salmon overcooked. I would not normally visit venues in tourist location after spending over 30 years in hospitality. But with family in town I didn't really have much choice.

Well overpriced. $27 for a double shot JD and coke is a bit silly. Obviously you're paying for the location. Pizza was decent.
Cocktails were good. They are the only reason I'd go back here, along with the location, otherwise there are plenty of other better joints in Sydney.
