With the back drop of the opera house and harbour bridge you can never go past this little bar!!! Even if you don't feel peckish the drinks will definitely make you more relaxed as the stunning views mixed with the smell of open water and lounge chairs will definitely make you forget your worries!!!

This is the place to go if you only have 3 hours in Sydney! Jaw dropping panoramic views of the harbour and opera house with passenger ships and ferries going past. Outdoor seating available with a good selection of drinks, snacks and they often have live music playing as well. Can get busy when the weather is nice.

This a great spot for that sneaky afternoon beer on a hot summers day. It can get quite busy at the weekends with plenty if tourist looking for that perfect shot of the Harbour Bridge or Opera House. Always good live music here and the food is not bad either. Plenty of turnover of people so you wont have to wait too long to get a seat. Take a high seat and watch the ferries pass by while enjoying your favourite drink. Get on down here and enjoy.

Place for drinks and nice awesome view, great for tourists and friends gathering. Great place for drinks and lunch or dinner before or after the opera show. You can't find any other bars better than this one, because this is the most great place to view over the Sydney harbour and Opera House.

This is a really nice place to eat and drink any time of the day. The atmosphere is amazing at night time and during the day its a nice and peaceful setting looking to the harbour bridge.
The food and drink can be quite expensive but is reasonable

Opera bar is an easy option for food and drinks, with a great view of the bridge and plenty of seats. I think most people imagine this to be quite a fancy or upmarket bar until they go there due to the location, but it's very down to earth. I love Sundays there, as they normally have live entertainment which gives the place a really nice vibe. Not just a bar for the hotter months as a lot of the outdoor seating area has umbrellas with built in heaters. The cocktails here are amazing and they have a great system of a dedicated cocktail making area so they never hold up the bar service, and to be honest they normally have loads of staff on. Food is great top, I had an amazing steak, cooked perfectly.

Although the view and setting is great, as well as the drinks menu, i would suggest expanding the food menu. Came here to eat and immediately left when we saw the menu. Definitely was not satisfied with the menu at all

A MUST DO if you are in Sydney! Can be really busy at the weekend so it may take a few minutes to find a seat but the view is worth it! Cocktails are great, food is also pretty good. You can also get some snacks if you don't want a full meal!

Great for post-work drinks, especially on a Friday night. It's always packed though, so definitely not a place for first dates unless you don't mind spending 10 minutes trying to find a spot and then having to give up and standing around awkwardly instead.

Other than that, great view, great weather (well, that depends). I've always loved an outdoor bar, and the Opera Bar is one of Sydney's best.

The GOODS:
This is such a great way to relax, get a beer and a bite with the harbour bridge as you're backdrop, live music and great vibes

Food was great. Had a side of green beans and wedges + a margherita pizza as a main to share. Was full.

Wine and cocktail great.

Pizza was woodfired and could taste the deadlines of the cheese by comparison to my previous review on another venue where the same was sub par.

Ambience: Fantastic. Live music, muddying machine for the heat, good vibes and laughter

The BADS:

1. Extremely noisy and absolutely nothing can be done about that coming from the crowd.

2. There was a young family with a small baby there that was screaming it's lungs out. Please don't be a moron and bring kids to something like this. Baby not happy. Other Patrons not happy! Just disrespectful.

An alternative to clubs, this outdoor venue has an amazing place to meet people and grab a bite to eat. It can get very busy, but there are no bouncers to throw you out, or music that will make you deaf. The rest of the harbor is very easily accessible, and it has amazing views.
