The view is the reason to go. Food is not bad, a little average.

Service is interesting. It was on a week day, not busy, I was queuing behind another customer who was ordering. And another guy was also in the queue just right behind me. Some random tourist showed up at the bar, and was served immediate. Hence I question the girl and the answer was, "there is no queue, you stand at the bar you get served". ??

I am confused, is this the opera bar rule? So next time I should just barge in and push everyone out of the way? Would love to get an answer from management.

Great views outside on a nice summer day of both the bridge and Opera house if you can find a shaded table or bear the sun. Premium location demands premium prices but worth it at least once

This bar, situated underneath the famous Opera House, offers a variety of live music, drinking and dining experiences. While technically a bar, it is also family friendly - with plenty of places for the entire family to sit and view the harbour.

The view of the Sydney harbor bridge and Opera house makes this place good. The service is very rushed and slow which I understand due to how busy it is however I prefer to go places with friendly, personalized service. It seemed very chaotic and was noisy.Food is average.

Very busy of course but lots of staff. Cocktails and food available with prompt service. You are paying for thw view and atmosphere but worth it for a special occasion or just to celebrate life in Sydney by the beautiful harbour.

The scenery is so beautiful at night.

The scenery is so beautiful at night.

Drinks and food is reasonably priced for a water view location and the bar provides waiter service which makes it easy to get your drinks and food without the need to line up.

Always a stunning location to bring visiting relatives and friends at any time of day.

Closest station is Circular Quay and a 5 minute walk to this spot.

Came here last Saturday night to see a concert at The Opera House. The lamb and barramundi was so nice - very efficient service ! You don't have to make a booking either - just turn up. Very convenient especially if you use parking at the opera house.

Some days you get a special surprise when you thought you were out for just a regular bite. The snapper served was of such beautiful quality, perfectly cooked that I thought I was served by the best chefs on the planet. This fish was amazing!!! Bravo to the crew at Opera Bat and all those kind staff fighting of the army of seagulls. I sure appreciated my snapper and as I looked eye to eye with a seagull licking his beak... listen here mate, this snapper is all mine and you can go and catch your own, the harbour is all yours...

Surprisingly not a tourist trap! Well priced drinks ($10 for a glass of wine, which is average Sydney prices), tons of seating space and the best view in Sydney... It's incredibly hard to beat. I'm definitely coming here a lot more often now.

What an amazing vantage point to sit and watch the world go by around Sydney's Harbour. Food and drinks were good, a tad expensive but look where you are. Well worth a visit for the views alone

Watch a cool breeze and a clear blue sky and have a beer or a cup of coffee. Left Harbor Bridge Woo Opera House. The ferry is full. The cruise ship is also full. It is a real world tourist destination mixed with various races. The food quality is lower than the price, but it is easy to think that it is the price of the scenery.
