The service was smiley and prompt. CoVid restrictions mean all ordering is done at the table through a QR Code and with way fewer people it wasn't overcrowded and drinks came quickly. The oysters and sashimi were lovely but the green papaya salad was a massive disappointment. Mostly flavourless noodles and no tang of the traditional Asian dish. Not even any peanuts!! Geographically blessed, A night at the Opera Bar is always a little bit special

Drinks & meals pretty expensive but you are paying for location. Food was good. Good music too.

Very poor service, blonde haired girl with pony tail was very rude and patronizing. The food was okay but heavily priced, the whiskey was very good, however that one incident with the bartender ruined my night, will not be back in a while.

This place is a great spot to chill out with friends. Great scene, people looking good, drinks flowing. They could be more considerate to smokers.. but alas, the snowflake world we live in. You will certainly enjoy your time here.

Amazing atmosphere, very fast service. The prawn ceaser salad was the best I've eaten. Great place to eat before a show.

A lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy a few drinks. You can order and pay at the table and they bring it all out to you. Very easy. Food was delicious and fresh. It was a pleasant experience.

Gorgeous view and atmosphere, and you pay for it, but it's expected for such a high profile place. I'd consider it a must do for out of towners.

Came here for dinner and drinks with friends last Saturday. Even though it is still winter and the weather is windy and cold, there wasn't a lot of people which made our time here so much better. This place gets super crowded and it's always hard to find a spot to sit. So go during off peaks times and you will have a lovely experience.

Expensive, but well-placed and picturesque. Great place to take visiting friends and family to show off your life in Sydney and make yourself look cooler and flashier than you really are. Just don't spend too much of your night there or the facade will fail when you run out of money.

An iconic location, great service and a diverse menu make this bar/eatery an absolute must-visit whilst in Sydney. Sitting on Bennalong Point beneath the gorgeous sails of one of the world's most iconic landmarks in the Opera House, the location captures the essence of the best of Sydney right there on its sublime Harbour. To sit here is equivalent to riding the canals of Venice, sitting beneath the grandiosity of Rome's cathedrals or gazing into the history and beauty of Paris atop the Eiffel tower. Sit here and breathe in Sydney's hustle, history and heartbeat.

Great view. Live music. Food and drinks are expensive as.

Everything was just right from A to Z. I will spend my sunny afternoons and evenings there again the next time I visit!

A great bar with a view of the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. $ 9.5 for a glass of Heineken. I see a beautiful night view, and it seems that this price is the best.

Good for drinks but food options are too less. Nice ambience and harbour Bridge view from restaurant. Overall good to spend some peaceful time with loved one.

Vivid Sydney is lit up and the atmosphere around it was good.

No better place to have a beer and take in the amazing views of Sydney Harbour. The prices can be a little on the high side, but you are kinda paying for the outstanding location.

Love sitting out there after work on a hot summers eve. Watching the ferry's and boats go by sipping a nice cool one.

Great & lovely location, staff are friendly & efficient, downside: very load, crowded & the food is not that good, I m a big fan of grilled salmon I try it in pretty much every country that I travel to and this is the worst that I have ever had it was barley grilled for few minutes totally not eatable

Great view & live music it s true but ordering app is woeful - clunky, overly complicated & not intuitive. It took me two goes to order my first drink. Then I failed to order another drink, twice. And I m no Luddite. I can t imagine how many sales they ve lost. On a rare night out, I d rather be talking to my friends than looking at my phone. We ve really really lost something here in the dining experience. I also feel for the waitstaff who lost their jobs. And I don t appreciate paying over the odds for perfectly average food when there s no service. Ditch the app!

It's easier to steal a drink than buy one. Despite having my credit card and drivers license in their possession, the servers will not bring you a drink when dining outside. I was told to either download an app or go to the bar, but when standing at the bar its easier to pour yourself a drink over the counter than get noticed, despite plenty of staff and few customers. Prime location and food was nice but wouldn't expect any less for food prices charged. Amazing potential to be a lot busier if they actually apply hospitality not indifference/hostility to the customer experience.

One of a kind view over the harbour is well worth the extra dollar you pay for the food and drinks. Must experience this bar when visiting Sydney. Great atmosphere, service always with a smile. I ve had pizza here a few times and all times was perfect. Get the Pink Me Please cocktail it s delicious!

Wow. What a sensational dinner with cocktails prior to going to the theatre. Beautiful experience in the best location. Most staff friendly with the odd snobby member.

A bit pricy, but the awesome sight makes it worth it

The staff were atrociously bad, rude, snobby, inconsiderate, ignorant and abusive. None of them had any smile on their faces and the service was awfully poor. The place is in a location of world class view which include such poor staff is absolutely disgraceful and embarrassing! I do not recommend to visit this bar at all.

Impressive! Was expecting average food but not at all: so on top of the excellent location overlooking the bridge, the food is great and very fresh and the cocktails? just amazing! Definitely the place to go! Can be a bit busy though...

Busy night. Food was ok... Bit expensive but no doubt due to location and view.

It was the best location, but this time the weather was so bad.
It is crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. This time it was vacant because it was weekday daytime.
The price is high but if you think it's a location ... it's rich and open-minded, so you can taste Sydney!

This is the best place to be to watch the sun go down over the bridge.

Hard to get a table as its a popular spot but don't let that put you off, wear flat shoes and stand to experience the beauty of the harbour.

This bar pulls in a mixes crowd so its a great place to people watch and let busy Sydney life pass you by.

I really like the location of this bar, your surrounded by water and the opera house. The service is nothing special and the venue is not amazing, but the atmosphere is good. Love it mainly for the location.
