Always beautiful. The view it so amazing. I always love to come to this place to have few beers and some good food. I recommend the pizza. You will get full for sure . The place is very busy but always possible to find a good place or table. About price, is not so so expensive. And their got a very good selection of beers. I love the me&U O dear. You can order at the table and don't need to stand and wait for a long time. That's amazing.

When the weather is fine there is no better place to spend time with friends.

Awesome location with a fantastic choice of wines, beers and cocktails. Great selection of bar snacks or you can sit in for a meal. Outside there are many a table to sit, having different concourse levels to enjoy the scenery. As you would expect prices are a little higher, however look at where you are situated. Can get busy, however this Bar covers a large area. Great music at certain times throughout the week, and certainly an amazing spot to view the Harbour Bridge and harbour surrounds.

Have to have a drink here if you are in Sydney. Great views.

What can you say about a place nestled along Sydney harbor, in sight of the famous Opera House and bridge, where you can get some local beers and food while enjoying the lovely weather and scenery? This place was fantastic and is definitely worth a visit.

Despite the crowds this would have to be one of the great bars of the world.

this is a great sophisticated bar that is a must if you are on a short visit to Sydney. It gives a view of the beautiful opera house and although it is pricey it is definitely worth it for a nice chilled evening.

Loved it after years of not seeing it in a normal way without a noisy crowd. There was a group performing live music with a lady with a beautiful voice. It added to our joy of having lunch there today.
The food quality and also our cocktails were good. I liked them.

Vibrant bar with plenty of glitz overlooking some of Australia s most well known icons.

Expect to pay top tourist dollar for a drink or snack, along with heavy crowds at popular times. Despite this, it s worth it to enjoy a drink with this view. Dress to impress.

If you are going to the Opera House, then a meal here adds to the overall experience. It is one of the best locations in Sydney. TIP... be here early, as it gets very crowded, towards 7.30pm.

Great atmosphere on a weeknight. Beautiful evening setting. Fast service even though there are lots of people! Was looking forward to the barramundi but it's not on the menu at the moment. Oh well, next time.

A busy open air bar directly beside the Sydney Opera House. Great for a cold pint and people watching. Some locals, but also a lot of tourists.

Our big boss ordered this for us and this is remarkably good! One of the best cocktails in my life. And the pizza is quite different. The cheese is amazing on it.
I've heard a lot 9f things about Opera Bar, it's quaint and expensive. But I think it's worth it. Imagine drinking a glass of cocktail with Sydney Opera House on your background.

Great views of the harbour. Consistently busy however service is good and not a huge wait on food or drink.

Efficient service with a fantastic view. The atmosphere is great but can get quite crowded on weekends. Make sure you order at the bar. There are tons of seagulls here so watch out for bird attacks and poo. I would just come here for a drink and not dinner.

Edit: Thank you to Opera bar for responding - guys, I don't think it is something that can be avoided given the popularity of the location. The reality is that it is very busy (which impacts speed of service, particularly during peak times), drinks are expensive because people will come regardless for the view or because they are visiting for a show (which feels like even less value when you have to wait due to slow service).

This place gets really busy on weekend evenings. Tourists all over the place, but that is to be expected given its proximity to the Opera house.

Drinks are a bit on the expensive side and we went there one friday evening in October 19, for sundown happy hour, when beer was $ 9 a pint. Food is bar snacks and alright.

Some live music on fridays, bridge and harbour views, and a rocking atmosphere.

Would I go back ? On a friday night, sure ! Its a good place to kick start a weekend. . . .

Unbeatable view and food not as overpriced as you'd expect. Beware there are two bars and if you wander across the boundary with a drink security rottwelers will attack.

It was fun doing Rose all day event but we were having troubles getting table...

Good/Outstanding views but not good for your wallet.

I have been here a few times now and the location is second to none, however the customer service is lacking and that may be due to the number of customers per staff member. Having said that the food is great but drinks are over-priced. However it is great to have a live band and relax on the harbour and have the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge as your view!

One of the best bar I've ever visited. They have outdoor space viewing to Sydney Harbor Bridge and Opera House, great cocktails too, even though the bartender girl who makes them was not very friendly.

Great views and superb atmosphere. Food and bevvies are decent too!

Perfect night view, well made cocktails, grooving music, nice winds and weather & comfort sits.
It was perfect as i visited at about 9pm on Sunday.
What is it going to be like at the peak time?

The opera bar has really adapted post covid. We had a very streamlined visit, they now check you in and seat you and you can order from the table. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The kingfish ceviche very nice!

Beautiful. All. Speechless. A spectacular view of the opera and the Sydney bridge, and a very good attention. The quality of what we consume, in that case only beers, is very good. Recommended to go with friends or partner or family or alone! Beautiful!

A buzzing atmosphere .. offers amazing views and good food. A perfect place for a bite to eat if seeing a show at the Opera House .. or anytime, really.

This place has been a long popular for the after work drinks. The cocktails are some of the best... particularly the martinis! Also check out their pizzas. Mostly there is live music and we always have a good time.

Went here for late breakfast. Great view on the Harbour Bridge and Opera. Good price level for this location, food and drinks quality are also good.

Too much expensive. You will get the same drinks (specially full bottles) in half price outside!

Great views. Drinks reasonable for area. If you like rubbery calamari this is the place , food way below standard. Seagulls well everybody has problems I guess.

Not too bad, drinks are a bit expensive. Terribly crowded and noisy 90% of the time only really good late at night.

Bar located almost under the opera of Sydney. Huge place where Australians love to meet after work or with family in front of this magnificent view of bridgeharbour bridge.

Great place with an amazing view of the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the famous Opera House. Quite expensive but not extreme knowing pricing around is expensive. And you pay for the experience and the view that is definitely worth it! Would highly recommend for a drink between friends on a nice Sunday afternoon :)

One of the best views in city and perfect with a beverage. A bit overpriced, and can get quite busy, so don't expect a seat and service can be hit and miss. Well worth checking out.

Its a nice location but you want more for service. The drinks are standard price, photos are OK, food basic, tiny dance floor.
