I have been a Mercedes driver for almost twelve years but Hamada El Masry changed that. I never thought I would be comfortable in a BMW but Hamada helped me find my dream car. He was very patient while I was deciding and did not rip me off in the end when I finally chose my BMW X5. I would highly recommend this dealer and Hamada to any customer.

I recently bought a BMW 328i x drive from this dealership & this was the most pleasant experience I had with BMW dealership compared to other dealers in & around. I ended up purchasing on the same day of my visit as I was able to get reasonable pricing, & Sherry (client advisor of open road bmw) made the whole process a pleasant experience.

I have to change the review because of the attitude once the purchase is completed. First of all I was to sign & accept the Tire and Wheel package at a whooping cost of 2000 (told to cancel within 30 days if not interested), and 3 years. I cancelled it on the 10th day, & from there have been waiting to hear back with N no of calls made, but no success. The money (2000$) has neither been deducted from the BMW financial services nor returned as check & it's been more than 40 days since I cancelled the policy.

Overall, not good service after purchase.

I had a great experience here at Edison Open Road BMW. The amplifier on my sons 335i convertible experienced water damage and Philip Migliore was an excellent help in finding a solution to my problem. He was a very honest man and got me the answers/help I needed. I would definitely recommend asking to speak with him for any questions you need answered. Without a doubt, I will be a returning customer if any problems exist in the future.

We recently visited OR BMW Edison and leased a series3. The overall experience was further enhanced by the way our sales advisor - Nitin Kalamdani handled our queries and the entire leasing process. Nitin was friendly, attentive and courteous all throughout the discussion. Nitin's overall service was instrumental in us going with a BMW as we were actually leaning towards leasing a different manufacturer's car at the time we entered Open Road BMW.

The sales department was fantastic. John Byrnes was my salesman and made the process seamless, quick and hassle free. John was very well prepared before I arrived. There was very little to do except discuss small details and sign papers. Everything was taken care of before I step foot in the door, and he made the sales process enjoyable and without worry or doubt. The manager Lee was fantastic as well. Well, Open Road used to be pretty awesome. We have purchased 5 cars total from them over the past 30 years, but this is where the business stops.

I love BMW, but when a dealership takes advantage of its customers provides unbelievably poor customer service it's time to call it quits.

I brought my 2004 M3 into Open Road BMW for a shifting problem with the SMG and claimed they had "fixed the problem and road tested the car". Bunch of bologna, I got in the car and it shifted worse than ever before. Hung on 4 out of 6 gears causing me to nearly be rear ended TWICE due to absence of power/acceleration.

If that's not bad enough, I demanded my car be fixed and within a few hours Open Road tells me "we can't fix the problem you will need a whole new transmission". Hmm, how convenient. Another example: during an earlier service, they intentionally mislead me and used high pressure sales tactics to sell me a new SMG pump ($4000) when a simple electrical relay ($20) fixed the problem. Had I not researched the issue before hand, they would have taken me for $4000. I wonder... why is it my responsibility to figure out my car? That should have already been a red flag!

With that said, the dealer is essentially holding my car hostage and not returning any calls. It has been with them for three weeks so far and no progress has been made. Even BMW corporate is turning a blind eye toward this despite several phone calls and emails.

Very discouraging considering my love for BMW.

I would highly recommend never considering Open Road BMW as a service center. In fact, I would go as far as to say that no one should ever purchase a car from Open Road because they do not value their customers at all. They are interested in taking your money and laughing their way to the bank.

He listened to my every request for a new vehicle and helped me stay within my budget. He found the perfect car for my daughter and I. My sales associate Santiago went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my new BMW. He took time out for me to make sure I knew everything that I needed to know about my new vehicle and he was very professional. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I will definitely be returning to this BMW location when my lease is up!

This is the worst collision center I have ever dealt with!!! They don t even advertise they do collision work because it s so terrible. My vehicle was rear ended and I set up an appointment at Open Road for 3 weeks later because I wanted to make sure I could get my wife a loaner (her bmw lease is ending and I wanted to get her an x3 which I know they have to try for a week or so to see if that would be her next car). Had to book online to get it done because no one ever answers the phones that are listed online. When dropping off was told that loaners aren t given in collision repairs which would be fine if only their website didn t contradict that. Finally picked up my car 3 weeks later only to find that parking sensors kept falling out and they literally forgot to order and install parts. When I brought it back I had to literally point out what parts were missing because they insisted everything was done. I m not a BMW tech so I don t even know if I caught everything they missed. They were definitely super fast in getting paid though. Just awful and ridiculous in their tone, effort, ability, and willingness to help. There are plenty other great shops to chose from. I regret I ever decided to give them a shot. Should ve gone to my regular shop to begin with.

My visit to Open Road BMW for routine auto repair and maintenance was a delightful experience. The advice and service provided by Ms. Brittany Soto was extremely professional. She diligently answered various questions and had my car repaired, often contacting to keep me informed. She is passionate about her job, is tremendously respectful to her customers, and very knowledgeable about BMW repairs. Similarly, I would like to recognize the assistance provided by Mr. Stephen Scofield, who went out of his way to arrange a loaner car for the duration of repairs. He also explained how to correctly use the newer features of the loaner car. i am on my 3rd visit of having the same appointment . i came in as a walk in 3rd time without appointment . they never have enough loaners available. i

it's so disappointing when a x5 is treated like a hyundai. there service department needs to pick up this is truly alarming when a bmw dealer ship has the integrity of a hyundai.

what's worst is i paid for a service contract additional. i think i'm selling this vehicle and getting into a more reputable product. hondas and acura i dealerships/service department treat you much better

The process to purchase a car here was the smoothest dealer transaction I have had in years! Santiago called me the next day after I submitted an online form for a vehicle. Within 10 minutes, he had called me back twice and we agreed on a price. I was amazed that the price did not change during the purchase process. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the sales person (Santiago) and the rest of the staff that I dealt with! Everybody was straight with me and did not try to change the price or switch anything during the process. Thank you Santiago!

The Best Car purchasing experience that i have had thus far. From the moment that I walked through the door, all the way up until the finish of the sale, I felt as though as I was in good hands. Paul was the BMW sales specialist that worked with me throughout the process of purchasing my CPO BMW, and I must say, this sales guy was awesome! He was able to answer all of my questions in a thorough and efficient manner in relation to what kind of car I wanted. Absolutely no pressure at all!, which was big for me!

After coming to a decision on what I wanted, the rest of the process was pretty smooth sailing. The financing guy Mike, was great too. I understood everything in its entirety before signing my name on those dotted lines, which was another big win for me! The manager even popped in every now and then to make sure that everything was going smooth and that I felt comfortable along the way!

Goes against the stereotypes experience that you would normally expect to have at a car dealership. I worked with Andrii and he was absolutely amazing on every level. He was transparent during the whole process and set proper expectations as to what to expect. On delivery day, he took the time to go through all of the features with me and made sure that I was comfortable with the car before leaving. A couple days after having the car, he reached out to me to see how everything was going. His professionalism and attention to detail are world class. Not only would I recommend him in this review, but I would highly recommend him to my family and friends (which I already have). Great job Andrii!

On a side note expect to give yourself some time when you sit down to go over the paperwork with finance. The individual that I worked with was a bit pushy with the three extra packages that they offer for protection. As someone who is also in sales, I get it, but it very contrasting from the rest of the experience.

I cannot express enough thanks to Mr. Anthony Sinno, Mr.James Crowe, and the best BMW Salesperson Mr. Eugene Poznyak who SINCERELY cares about their customers. I was in an absolutely nightmare of a situation with a flat tire at 6:15pm on a Thursday evening. I had no spare, and had to drive another 35 miles just to get home, and I was in a complete panic. I would have gladly spent any amount of money just to get back on the road. Luckily I was able to limp my car into BMW of Edison where I figured at best I could leave the car, and take an Uber home which would be a pretty penny for sure. I was greeted by Anthony Sinno who said "I still have a tech here, and we can get that fixed for you right away"....JAW DROPPING MOMENT!!!!! In my mind I was in complete disbelief at the professionalism, empathy, and compassion this gentleman exhibited. My salesman Eugene Poznyak kept me occupied in the meantime while they worked on my car, and showed me all the other models I had questions about, and I had a cup of coffee. Bottom line is my lease is up in August, and I will absolutely be making ALL my purchases from Eugene, and hand walking all my friends, and family who currently own a BMW or any other premier brand to this dealership, and directly to Eugene. I myself am in a customer service based business, so I immediately recognize incredible service, and these gentlemen went so far above, and beyond what I ever expected tonight, and helped me like a friend, and I am forever grateful to them for that. My most humble thanks, and you have won another customer, and a friend for life.

The parts department rarely picks up the phone and is generally unhelpful with an attitude like they are doing you a favor.
I understand that the dealerships main concern is selling new cars and charging people for service, but those of us that own older out of warranty BMWs, or do any work themselves, would be well advised to go elsewhere for parts and repairs.

Besides pressuring my friend into getting a loan, and putting her in a bad financial situation. Here is mine, I had 4 retainer clips that needed to be replaced in my dash. It takes literally not even 10 minutes so I bought the parts from the dealer and asked them to just pop them off, they wanted to charge me $80 to do something for 10 god damn minutes. Seriously? Do you charge 30 seconds of labor also at $150 an hour? What a joke, I just did it myself. The idiots had no clue what part it was I had to show them, like you aren't even capable of popping them in. The guy that "helped me" said "we charge labor because it's our liability." Are you serious lol? The job was literally retard proof I used my hands to take the cover off and put the new plugs in.. stay the HELL away from this dealership...

The amount of respect I have for the service dept of this dealership is beyond what any words can describe. First of all I want to say Anthony Sinno is the absolute greatest service advisor I have ever sat down with in my 15 years of new vehicles. He is super professional and courteous , always has a loaner ready when needed and always trying to help within company guidelines. I love that guy. Amazing service each and every time. The shop manager Craig is also phenomenal, never gives off any unnecessary problems or hassles. I can't imagine ever leaving BMW because I can't imagine building such a relationship with a service advisor as I did here. And Anthony made that super easy from day 1. 5 Stars for a 5 star service dept all around.

I guess that says it all , as working with the same person for 10 years speaks volumes about the person. Nitin is a pleasure to work with and is always available when I need him. However, I must note that Robert Biyantov at Open Road BMW who sold me my vehicle was the best salesman that I have dealt with. He was extremely informative and helpful. I own a restaurant in highlands nj . I truly believe that if There s a problem with your meal , your drink or the service provided. you must contact the manager or even the owner to tell them your experience I m so against going in public but sometimes it should be the last resource . 6 years ago I purchased a used 745 I. The car was presented as a cream puff , sales person indicated that the vehicle didn t need extended warranty since it was in perfect condition since it had low milage . In stead he'll take $1500 off the price. Well money is money and if this comment comes from a sales person at bmw dealer and not from the little guy from around the corner You believe a 200% Well. It turned out to be that the vehicle had been in several accidents and was owned by them ( Open road ) this is according with the lawyer I hired since open road didn t want to do nothing about my car. The only thing they did was take the car and fix the wetter coming in to the car from clogged drains they told me . All this water previously had rusted electric and electronic parts of the vehicle and they simply told me that the car had no extended warranty . The crazy lawyer I hired ( Alexander cane) took him 4 years and additional $4.000 retainer plus experts looking at the car at an adicional cost of $3.000 for him to start insulting me and saying crazy things all because according with the person he recommended him he went crazy for real . After almost 5 years of having my cream puff car in my driveway in my way I desisted and donated the pice of junk to cars for kids

Britney is my service advisor and she is awesome, whenever I go there I only ask for her, she is professional and is always kind and helpful. My last car always had issues and she always helped me out with no problem and always mentioned about the warranties they have to help me out. open road is a nice facility with computers and tv. It is also clean and nice. If you go there make sure you ask for Britney.

The waiting times are long, the prices are borderline gouging, but the staff is friendly. Don't buy a BMW if you're not prepared to treat it like a newborn baby.
Pro Tip: they do price match for parts with BMW online so check that out before you pay.

Lets be sincerely honest most receptionist are not knowledgeable nor will they go beyond the call of duty to assist anyone. I purchased my car from Open Road and anytime I need service for the car, their rates are always higher than BMW of Bridgewater, Flemington or even Union. One would think that they would offer fair prices to customers who purchased such an expensive vehicle from them, but such is not the case. They also do not break out the quote between purchase and installation.

I came in from out of state to pick up a BMW 4 series convertible, speced very well. The dealership sent staff to pick me up after my travels and their BMW Genius went through some features of the car. Paul, the salesman, whom I spoke with in regards to the car was helpful and courteous. Rob in finance was great and a pleasure to talk to. While the car had some imperfections on the interior it was mainly in good condition. My only gripe is the cigarette odor in the car I noticed after having the car for a day. I m currently trying to get that out with ozium.

One thing I wish was disclosed was the state inspection would need to be done for my return state even though the vehicle had an inspection sticker certifying the vehicle until 2020 and the car was a CPO; giving me some piece of mind that the vehicle had been inspected & maintained to standard. In previous states I ve lived in I did not have state inspections so this was my first ordeal with them. During the inspection it was determined the rotors needed to be replaced. I contacted Paul to make him aware of the situation and he spoke with his manager Alex and they promptly handled the situation! Extending the remaining OEM warranty so I could get the rotors changed at a local BMW dealership. I thank them for their quick thinking and extended customer service.

This dealrship is the worse place to go to horrible service they never fix the car that have problems they keep holding cars for two weeks to get it serviced they provide horrible loaners that are not serviced never again will go there and wont recommend anyone to go to the dealership!!!

One star is too much for you guys! It was the worst experience ever. Teach your lady at the reception how to communicate with people. I did not come to their home to demand something. I just wanted to service my car. But the faces of your employees forever repulsed the desire to return to you.
The lack of professionalism and incompetence of your advisors just knocked me out of the rut.
I live in Edison, but I would rather go to the Freehold or to any other service than return to you.

I recently purchased a pre-owned 528 vehicle from this dealership. I received outstanding service from everyone. The sales rep, Roosevelt Morency, was extremely helpful during the whole process. I changed my mind a few times about the make and year of the car I wanted; Roosevelt could not have been more patient and professional with me. He offered me great advice and we developed a great trusting relationship that really made my buying experience a great one. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone that is seriously thinking about buying a new or used BMW car. Thank you Roosevelt for all your help and assistance. You are a true professional. This Bmw is the worst dealership I have ever been to and here's why....

Back in 2015 I purchased a new x5 white diesel BMW. Everything seemed fine at first. A year later one of my other cars needed a repair and when we went to drop it off at an auto service, something really interesting came up. The car service man asked why my x5 BMW had a paint job. I was extremely confused because at that time my car was only 1 year old and never had been in any accident.

This comment concerned me so I went for a second opinion and again was told my brand new x5 BMW had a paint job that was not from the original factory. We called the dealer and after much intensive research and background checks found out they sold us a car that was in a car accident. Even though the car was new they failed to disclose something happened with the car previous to my purchase. I obviously was really annoyed and told them to give me a car that had no damage and they refused. The dealership even though admitted to FRAUD and admitted to LYING about my car being new with no previous accidents told me there was NOTHING THEY CAN do. I had my lawyer write them a letter and they then called me telling me if I buy another car they will take my x5 for full trade in value. I told them many times I never agreed to buying a not new car and what they did to me was illegal and fraud but they continuously told me that's not their problem and my car was fully paid off. I tried to mention to them I was not planning to buy another vehicle from them and it wasn't my problem that the contract never disclosed damage but they ignored me. I then had my lawyer write them more letters and talked to the dealership manager and they just ignored me. They blatantly told me they DO NOT CARE. I had to let the situation go because I didn't/ don't have time to chase them around and spend thousands of dollars on court.

About 6 months ago from today (may 28th, 2019) I received a letter that my same vehicle (x5) had a factory issue and there was some electronic recall they had to fix. We tried to make an appointment many times but the dealership kept telling me they didn't have parts. I finally told them its not my problem they don't have parts and that its been 6 months and I will soon have an expired warranty and I need an appointment now! They FINALLY scheduled me an appointment and when I got there they made me wait 1 hour before they told me the loaner car I requested would not be given to me and that my car cant be fixed at the moment. After screaming at the manager they agreed to fix my car but still told me they don't have loaners even though I requested one and at first was told they were preparing it for me. Basically I was stranded with no car an had to have my husband come get me. This dealership is full of liars and frauds.

NEVER BUY A CAR HERE, NEVER LEASE A CAR HERE JUST GO TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER BMW. They couldn't care less about you and your business at the EDISON BMW. They are total frauds and they lie and twist everything. I literally brought them my business and instead only gained a headache out of it. I now own a car that doesn't have a clean car fax even though I purchased it as new and I have to deal with them until my warranty expires.
