I've only been once! The place looked amazing and I enjoyed the lens thing outside lol I forgot the name of it. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that there was no "food" at Tim Horton's. We went on a Saturday and places were closed. All we could eat were donuts and tea. For the fact that we were there for a while, it wasn't really helpful. Oh well, you learn.
Fun for kids. Like a giant indoor playground, really.
30 years ago this place was 5 stars. They took an awesome museum and made it mediocre :(
Fun and so much to see but definitely something to go with kids
Great experience to visit science center Toronto Not. Only for students interesting for all age groups specially planatorium .
I haven't been inside this place, though I heard this is an exciting/smart place for elementary students. I'll just walk in one day. This place is just a stone's throw from our 2nd home.
Kids love this place. Spend 2 days to see everything.
Great and unique place to be, there were some exhibits that were not working properly are closed. But, being from the United States, it was nice to see some different takes on how to present the information, and this in comparison to the large handful of other science museums that I ve been to.
If you don't absolutely love this place, are you truly experiencing this wonderful wealth of hands on knowledge?
Super fun. Place to visit. Soany floors of entertainment for all ages.
Very nice for both kids and adults. A lot of interactive learning.
Love this place. We go almost once a week and my toddler never gets bored.
It was a pleasant visit, quite a different experience since the last time I visited in the 80s... My daughter and nephew did enjoy their first visit at the Science Center. The Ripley's exhibit was quite informative. Will visit again soon.
A great place to learn and play. Kids had fun here. However, the parking fee is a little bit expensive.
Ontario Science Centre is a terrific destination for educational entertainment for kids. My 3 year old absolutely loved the KidSpark activities. There are so many exhibits and events at the centre that there is no way to see it all in a single visit. I highly recommend a membership so that you and your little ones can visit frequently to learn and play together.
Wonderful place for kids to explore science activities. Had food options too.
Great place for kids to spend a few hours hands on learning and exploring
Great full day experience with the kids! Many hands-on activities!
In the words of my Daughter. "This place is so Awesome". I wish i was closer or it closed at a different time as closing time is rushhour and our hour ride there became 3 hours on the way home.
Decent but doesn't change much. Was first time going back in 15+ years and place is pretty similar to how you remember it. Can easily spend a day their with plenty to see and do but two days is too much. Plenty of hands on exhibits, the area where you build you own car/plane /... From the laser cut cardboard is cool. Food is disappointing so suggest you bring your own which is allowed. Definitely check out the imax films they are cool and educational at the same time. The theatre doesn't get busy so no need to get there early. Will go back.
Amazing place for kids! Definitely makes a great afternoon, even with a toddler! Plenty to do!
Incredibly fun. Just be sure to allocate enough time to explore, as you'll need the whole day. Great for kids, but adults will find more than enough to captivate them.
Best place to bring the family. You can bring your kids at any age and they'll have a blast. Great prices especially with the membership. And the IMAX theater is incredible, always a hit with our family.
This is a great option if you don t want to fight the downtown traffic in Toronto. My wife and I had a good time. Would even be better if you have kids to take. Watch our YouTube video of the Ontario Science Center. Our YouTube channel is Val and Ed s Adventures.
Absolutely enjoy visiting the OSC. The Centre hosted Harry Potter Exhibition, a collection of props from the film series in 2010. Also the Leonardo da Vinci's Workshop (2011) featuring models of da Vinci's inventions, built from drawings in his Codices.
A good place for you to play brainy games with kids.
Real City of Sciences. All suitable for children but with a plan completely dedicated to them always with a scientific theme
Great place for kids to learn about the world around them. Also good for those who remember going to the Science Centre in a more simplier time. The IMAX films qualities are still the same as they were 10 years ago and I hope that changes soon. The Science Centre is due for an upgrade in terms of exhibits and quality.
Love it, love it, great for the curious kid, lots to do for everyone.
This place is huge. Visiting from sask it was almost overwhelming in size compared to ours and we definitely didn t plan enough time there. I d be going first thing in the morning. Also found many exhibits to much for my young son, this one seems much more geared towards older kids, not those in K-2, more grade 5/6 up.
Very cool energy show and hands-on exhibits. Unfortunately the special shows are all around the same time so it was difficult to take advantage of them.
A poor representation of science and technology. Old, worn out, boring displays. Nothing works, including the escalators and purell stations lol. So far from world class, kind of embarrassing. Needs a major overhaul. They are hiring a new CEO so hopefully that will help.
Very nice, they have interesting activities for kids
Great place to kill a rainy afternoon. Kids have loved it.
Excellent day out for kids 6+, but go there early so you have time to cover everything!
Great place for kids to learn science through practical experiment models
Our family loves visiting here. Always something new. Make sure you watch an IMAX film as they are brilliant to watch. Kids section is tons of fun. My daughter loves the shopping and construction fun.
Very interesting hands on child friendly, need to update a few displays
a really great place for kids to understand science in a fun way. The IMAX cinema there is fantastic.
Nothing to see as an adult, but the main problem is how the building is designed its so confusing and the maps they made don't help at all.
So much to do for all ages. Great place to hang out w/ the kids.
The magic is gone. I took my grandsons there because I had such great memories of taking my own kids there when the were young. It was very expensive, specially the food, and the best exhibits seem to have disappeared. We were all bored
30 years ago it was great. Crowded, noisy. Been to better science centers. Not for adults. We will not be back and will not recommend it.
Great day out my kids 12 and 14 still enjoyed the exhibition interactions and shows..make a day of it grab an Imax and get in line at the star show the bean bags are nice to relax on
Expansive, lots of walking. Interesting: lots of exhibits. Interactive: lots of hands-on and entertaining education from white coated staff. Recommend for all walking ages.
Kids had a blast exploring all the rooms and activities
Awesome place! "Best place ever!" says my 10 year old....
Great science center. Interactive, informative. Something to visit.
Great, inspiringly refreshing with lot to do for all ages.
Lots of great science and a bunch of interesting exhibits and interactive shows. Staff there is amazing and added to our experience.
Very entertaining for children and grown ups. my three year old loved that place as much as my older nephew and my teenager niece. plenty parking. ticket a little expensive for a big family. Recommend.
I like how much attraction the Science Centre has added versus 5 years ago! Would bring my kids and niece again to visit.
Wish I had more time to see the whole place.. need atleast 2 days to fully explore
Greg at the at the nights sky show was brilliant.. I can't believe how informative he was a knew every question... very very good.. if you are traveling toronto do not miss this place it's like a theme park
The science Centre was really nice, there was a rainforest, inside the rainforest had a rain fall and had some trees and there had lots of things to play , human body section was awesome, I saw some animals like snake, different types of Spider, the coolest thing is that, there was a maze, it was scary, had lots of things.
No match for basic sciences for youngsters and adults.
Good place to visit with kids. Children would have a great time with hands on display models.
I would like the areas of bathrooms (washrooms) and signage to be more visible
great family fun. they be updated some of the exhibits as well, like the discovery bridge that hasn't changed in over 30 years (finally!)
A science museum more for children than for adults. Many things to do ... When it works.
Hella fun to be at
Food is a bit overpriced tho
