One World Hotel Kuala Lumpur Review

Love this hotel...truly wonderfull people working in F&B. Love them all

The food is always great at their MICE venue. However crowd control is a little hard.

I have to say, this is the first time in my life, where a 5-star hotel, with 5 star service and 5 star amenities does not provide WiFi service for non-staying guests who dine at the Lobby Lounge. Absolutely ridiculous. Hotels in central KL can easily provide WiFi for paying customers at restaurants. Why is One World lacking? Absolutely ridiculous.

Very nice place to stay. It is adjacent to one of the biggest shopping mall of Malaysia. Fitness gymnasium is there with coaching facility. For dining, Buffet of Breakfast, lunch and dinner available with variety of food options.

Recommending this hotel to all....clean bed sheet, beautiful room and a really comfortable hotel. Will come back again.

Convenient for shopping. I went without reservation but stayed. If you ask me to show the room first, he responded very politely.

Overall experience is splendid.Except for very slow checking in.My check in time was surprisingly 1730hrs - 1800hrs.Reason is due to late check out by guests.Both my rooms 2005 & 2006 were not even ready at all.Anyways when we were checking in for another room,my son were actually eating at the Peridot club evening cocktails but the lady at the reception at the club floor insisted we need to pay for another guests as only room 2006 are allowed 2 adults but no extra person.Really........Already we were checking in late for our rooms but why can't the lady excuse us for another extra person...& come on we're talking about a child here.No choice since we need to pay extra then we would rather go out & have our meal .My son only took fruits but that cannot be excused at all..Though our stay was just the weekend,we never touch the food at all on the club floor due to pay extra charges for my child..DO YOU THINK ITS FAIR WHEN WE STAYED FOR THE 2 ROOMS...Still treatment was still the same like any other standard rooms as we never felt special staying at the club floor....But your restaurant at the "C" Floor waiter & waitress were excellent...Good services from them.Very friendly too...Loved their friendless...The next time I'm there I would rather book normal standard rooms connecting...That's all..I mean what's the point staying at the club floor when your staff can't give any exception for just 1 child dining in for free during evening cocktails..
Other than checking in slow & can't give any extend services from club floor,the weekend experienced were great.Massage chair were good after a day out tiring walking with my kids shopping ,Kidzania etc etc..Bed was comfortably good too...Except for the tv in our room was not fuctioning well.Cant click to other channels other then home,volume,putting the tv in & out of the cabinet..Online that I request for my room amenities were granted..Thank you for making my room a very special stay.Thumbs up to to reservation team especially Iqbal..

Check in staff were friendly and gave me a free upgrade as i was a regular in this hotel. The hotel breakfast buffet is good and alot of choices. Location is perfect, next to a very large mall and with rail station just steps away.
Room is very clean and spacious. i would return again.

Convenience hotel that next to MRT station and shopping mall

Nice and cosy room with good amenities for both business and family stay.

Had a dinner function here and the food and setup was amazing.

Location is good. Have got coaches from singapore to 1 utama. Also coaches to genting and back to 1 utama. Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast spread is awesome.

We stayed here for five nights. The hotel is slightly dated, though quite well appointed, and there are ample electrical points in the room. We had asked for a King s bed on a non smoking floor, and ended up in a twin room.

It was quite spacious and the beds were comfy. The aircon was a little difficult to use - it seemed either to be too warm, or too cold, no matter what setting we used, particularly at night. The card key system was also a little wonky. During our five night stay, I had to change my key card three times, while my wife changed her card once. We could either use it in the lift, but not to open the room door, or it was the other way around.

Kudos to the housekeeping team, who were flexible in their hours and always courteous and helpful.

Breakfast was ample in the Cinnamon room, and I especially liked the freshly made roti canai and murtabak.

There is a huge megamall attached, with tons of retail and restaurant options, and the MRT is four minutes walk across an access bridge.

Attached to one of the best mall in Klang Valley and situated in the heart of PJ. This hotel has one of the best location among the other hotels in the similar price range. Even if the decor is a bit dated, the convenient of shops and great restaurant nearby offset it all. A recommended place to stay if you are visiting Klang Valley for business or even leisure.

Perfect location to stay in Damansara. It's a bit far from city centre but one of the best hotels to stay in this part of KL

I slept one night over day in January 2020. Facilities are slightly old but they have excellent service. Delicious breakfast and helpful staffs.

Perfect location to enjoy shopping and anything you need as its in the mall. Great pool and facilities. Outstanding service, close to rooftops, can easly spend few days there.

Nice elegant hotel. Live soothing music at night if you hang out at the lobby area. Some foot traffic passing by for the MRT but the people mostly behaved themselves. Very comfortable hotel to relax and unwind after a day of intense meeting. One utama shopping mall is just next door, so food and shopping options are aplenty. Ask the reception if you need help with directions or meal suggestions. 5 stars.

The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was varied, the materials were fresh, the taste was very good, the place was large and comfortable, and the design was tasteful.

One World Hotel has always been great hotel to spend your day in enjoying KL city scene.

The hotel is the first 4 star hotel in the Damansara area designed to cater for the growing business needs in the area and have sufficient capacity to host large events. My last visit to the hotel however found their catering food quality dropped. Used to be much better.

Property company trying to be a hotelier. Questionable upkeeping and poor facilities. Tennis courts are in disgraceful conditions. A Shangri-la class you will never be.

We never got bored with this hotel. This is our 8th visit within 2 years and we can confirm the quality of the room, latte is always on spot, service was awesome and this is a kid friendly hotel.

Large business class hotel right in the middle of Bandar Utama with good connectivity to other parts of KL and PJ due to its proximity to many major highways and MRT station.

Upgrade options available at front desk upon check in. Junior suite room is nice. Direct access to the mail.
One of the few smoking lounge in the city.
