Omni Severin - Indianapolis Review

The bar had good food, fairly paced. And very nice lobby bathrooms.

Staff was amazing and service was spot on. Room was small with highly uncomfortable beds. They were rock hard. Room showed its age in a couple of ways. We had some pretty large water damage spots on the ceiling and the electrical outlets built into the tables worked sporadically. No vending oof any kind available. So when the bar and restaurant shuts down, you can only get small water bottles from front desk. Not a bad place to stay by any means but it has its issues.

Attended a training course held in the hotel. Very nice rooms and staff. Would definitely come again!

Came in just for a quick 1 night stay. Had a great stay. Everyone was very welcoming and the building is very pretty

Clean. Well maintained. Cleaning crew cleans the room up each night. Fantastic beds.

Old, classic hotel. Clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and great location. I was not an overnight guest, but an event attender where I visited banquet room, the bar, and a hospitality suite.

None of the amenities ive come to expect from a hotel. Wi-Fi is pay to use. There was no microwave in the room. Breakfast is NOT complimentary, and the water that was left on my desk in the room was $7 for 1.5L. Be careful what you do at places like this, cuz you could end up paying your room price twice just for all the add ons and fine print.

I just checked in. It is going to be a enjoyable week as I attend the American Legion Convention. Very friendly staff.

Room was very clean and well appointed. Staff was really nice and helpful! We had a wonderful stay.

The view from our room was great. The "queen" sized bed seemed a tad small for it's size. Water pressure was good in the shower. Maid service was kind and attentive. Front desk was very helpful when needed. In a nice walking distance from lots of area things.

Definitely not worth $250 per night. The room was small and the bathroom was extremely small. There was no where to hang towels. The room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. Those are the only positives. When we checked out there was only 2 employees behind the desk and several customers waiting to be helped. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is gorgeous! Love the decor and location to affordable/easy parking which isn't common in downtown Indy

It is no doubt pricey, but if you like having plenty of restaurants, shopping and the basketball arena within a two block walk, then I'd suggest this place. The price for parking probably bothered me more than the room. For the love, I've paid less for parking in Chicago. Excellent front desk, helpful concierge and clean/comfortable room. WiFi was quality as well....and free. Well, it isn't really free, but they call it free so I'll run with free.

The Omni Severin is second to none. If your want a relaxing stay at a beautiful hotel in the heart of Indianapolis, I highly recommend that you stay there.

Amazing looking hotel room rather small. I stayed at the omni downtown Indianapolis on the 9th floor 2-2-19 checked in late maybe 1am. Late check out at 1pm a few hours later I start to notice all kinds of bug bites appearing on my arms face legs buttocks. After taking pics and today talking to the bug man my worse fear was confirmed they are BED BUG BITES!! I'm disgusted that this happen in a 4 star establishment! I called to let them know that they had a Bed Bug problem and they told me well if you would have mentioned it at checkout we would have refunded your stay. Let's hope I didn't bring any home and they actually followed up and took care of the problem. Unbelievable!

Had drinks and dinner in the bar. Good music, good drinks, good food and good servers. All around good time!

DON"T STAY HERE!!! Consumer Alert! Buyer beware! Worst hotel experience of my entire life! Not only were the accommodations a disaster but they staff charged my credit for $4,000 that I did not owe!!! I highly advise finding a safer more affordable option nearby. There are many alternatives that will serve you better without the risk!

The Omni Severin is a beautiful downtown Indy hotel and the staff are amazing. Although the hotel infrastructure is showing its age, our stay was amazing and we hope to be able to stay at the Omni Severin again.

Fantastic hotel located right in the heart of Indianapolis.

Stayed here while taking a weekend getaway. Service was amazing, hotel was clean and our room had character while being a corner room. It be was good sized and had many windows. The location was also very convenient and nearby many shops, restaurants, Lucas Oil Field, and a mall.

The rooms are pretty tired and the gym in the basement is very depressing. However, on the upside, the staff are always very welcoming and accommodating.

It is no secret that this property needs a serious renovation.That being said the staff ABSOLUTELY makes up for it.Upon arrival the the employees with valet were quick and very professional.Ethan at the front desk was more than a treat to talk to all day long and was always helpful with any request we had..The property is old but the staff does it s best to make up for it.

The lobby is very nice, full of comfy furniture, and the staff is very friendly.

The staff was very friendly, rooms was very clean.the bed super comfortable. They allowed us to see the ballroom.The hotel is beautiful. Will definitely stay again.

Great place for meetings, good food for lunch and breakfast while attending.

It is old and run down. Holes in the curtains, the air conditioner was loud. The furniture was worn and had cracks. The fitness area was very nice; however, there are no windows. The service was great!

Had a City View room with a patio, was the best thing about the room. Furniture was worn and had tears. The industrial toilet in the bathroom took me by surprise. A/C was working, which I was concerned about from other reviews.

The room we stayed in was huge and everything in the room was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and accomodating and it was an absolutely delightful stay. I am a huge fan of the location and the fact that it is so close to the convention center, and how there is a Starbucks right downstairs. Thank you for the pleasant stay and the wonderful experience.

A birthday and suprise proposal for my girlfriend for $650 at a "4 star" hotel that turned out being moved from a dirty room to a slightly less dirty, outdated room with no help and then no working outlets in the bathroom...terrible customer service(the 1st lady was apologetic and very nice) 2and manager should not be representing the hotel if you care about customers. While there, I personally witnessed 4 other customers complaining and left the hotel for completely unsatisfactory rooms that are supposed to be luxurious suites! An embarrassment to the brand and price. False advertising!!!! Not complainers and sad we have to even do this. I had high Hope's for a wonderful experience for my soon to be wife and instead we got 1 star accommodations a 4 star price...

Great place to stay , great room , great location and the desserts are the best . Breakfast was great , friendly service , delicious omelette s all in all great stay. Room was spacious but the bathroom was small had to move the rug to close the door.

- - - Our room was an overall disappointment. Felt like trying to exist in a closet. Shower pressure almost non-existent, noise outside with dumpster emptying in the middle of the night, absolutely TOO small bathroom, felt claustrophobic and offered no counter space... I was forced to lay out my toiletries/makeup on the bed because the only other option was the toilet seat :(

I would recommend the hotel and certainly the breakfast buffet but encourage the guest to be VERY CERTAIN what size/kind of room they're agreeing to when making their reservation. We were told that we would be on one of the "top floors" when making our reservation by phone; however, we were placed on the 3rd floor upon arrival. When I asked about it at checkin, I was told that it's all they had... yet when speaking to housekeeping in the hall, we were told that multiple rooms were empty.

The Omni is a nice hotel but compared to the other hotels around, it's lacking. The rooms could stand to be updated. Also 10 dollars for internet is just ridiculous. Again it's nice but given other choices of hotels in the area I would rather stay someplace else.

High quality hotel with a beautiful restaurant, a wine bar, and regular bar. Starbucks in the hotel as well. Centrally located in downtown Indy. Super helpful staff and great maids.
