Although I'm giving 5 stars the hotel still needs some upgrades. Not anything that caused me not to enjoy my stay. Just to stay current and be at the rate they currently charge for a room. Also wifi should be free for any hotel when you're a guest.

TBD

Beautiful hotel with great views of the city. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Minimal noise from other rooms. Beds were amazing and if I could I would have taken the pillows home with me!

Front desk wasn't super friendly when we arrived, shower was gross, no free WiFi, no fridge or microwave. Beds were clean, lights were fun to play with, but I've had a more comfy bed at a Holiday Inn plus they offer complimentary wifi.

Only stayed one night and it was through someone else so I actually didn't really experience much. However, I will say that the staff is very attentive and visible. Room was very clean and had great views of the city. Location is close to so many other things in Indy. I'd certainly consider going back!

Every staff member we encountered was nice and VERY helpful. The hotel is clean, beds are crisp, clean & comfy, and in a great location. We will return, and recommend the Omni Severin to others.

Nice location, but like others have stated, the rooms are very outdated. Parking is not included. Either pay $22 for parking garage per night or $40 for valet. There is also a $10 charge for wifi. We were in a penthouse so it had a small living room area with fold out couch bed and upstairs has a large bed (king, I think). No mini fridge or microwave. The huge windows are very nice, and the balcony is nice---you can see Lucas Oil stadium and some of the downtown. Plumbing seems like it could be update--water pressure in sink would change frequently and shower made a high pitched noise the whole time.

I'm not sure it was worth what we paid, but it was nice to be able to walk to Bankers Life stadium. It's also connected to Circle Center mall, and walking distance to bars/restaurants.

These folks were great. I tried to buy flowers from them to send to my lady, but they told me not to worry about it they would send you a complimentary arrangement of chocolates and champagne. Long story short, they were more than helpful and everything was wonderful.

Overpriced, small rooms, and a beverage cooler instead of a fridge in each room (??) - for the price, breakfast should really be included.

Staff was friendly and prompt. Comfortable bed.

We stayed here for a wedding. I believe it was priced way too high for what it is. The rooms are outdated and the shower was dingy looking. There was little to no counter space in a standard room. The walls were super thin, and we got to hear the people next to us. I won't be staying there again until they update their rooms.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They delivered needed products to our room at midnight, called the room before knocking because of the privacy sign, and we're very professional. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious and the staff there were very welcoming. Parking was kind of expensive, but other than that our stay was fantastic.

Awesome hotel with even more awesome service! This was a birthday gift to my 7 yr old nephew and they made it super special and fun for him and his siblings. I loved that they gave him a gourmet birthday brownie and brought all the kids milk and cookie for bed. It was our first time in Indy and Omni Hotel made it spectacular! I will definitely be coming back and staying with them again!!

THANK YOU OMNI FOR AN AWESOME WEEKEND!! TIL NEXT TIME!

Beautiful and super accommodating. Walking to the mall and speghetti factory didnt even require going outside...which was nice because the weather wasnt the greatest. 6 stars if I could. We will stay again! P.S. If you need handicap accessible features this place goes above and beyond!

Definitely not anywhere near a luxury hotel! Stayed here the weekend of Easter, and was far from impressed. The hotel itself is clearly outdated, the soundproofing was non-existent, there were pretty much no amenities other than a room. The wifi that the gentleman at the front desk didn't tell me was a charge was 3 mb/s and wasn't even fast enough to load a webpage unless I wanted to wait 3 minutes for it to load. I ended up having to hotspot from my phone in order to get any work done. The beds were too big for the bedframe and anytime you sat on the edge of the bed it would start to tip. The chair at the desk was so old The leather was cracking and it had tears in it. The only good thing about this place is the location as it's right downtown. I will not be staying here again, and definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent staff that is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are small as it is an historic building but are nice and modern enough. The bathrooms are a little subpar for this price range and the hallways are a bit beat up. Overall though it is a very pleasant place to stay and the location can't be beat.

We bought the "Family Fun" package that included 2 adult and 2 kids tickets to the Children's Museum, hotel accommodation, and free breakfast for our family. We were welcomed by super-friendly valet staff who moved like lightning. The check-in staff was equally bubbly and friendly. Our 2yo got a little backpack filled with age-appropriate activities (inc. in the package). The bellman was super helpful and chatted with us and our kid all the way up the elevator- staff was very professional in general. Our room overlooked the train station, so our little guy could watch the trains coming and going (about 5 times). He also got a "milk and cookies" turn-down :-). Breakfast was delicious- hot buffet. Our room was a suite with a bedroom area, and living area. The living area had a pull-out sofa and its own tv. No kitchen. I dont remember if it had a fridge or micro. The only very minor complaint is that we could hear kids yelling in the hall. If you're a parent to little ones, it probably wouldnt bother you. Circle Center mall was accessible via skywalk from the hotel. Great location, in the middle of downtown. The walk to the pizza place was about 10-15 mins with a toddler. Would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I reserved a room for the weekend at the Omni to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we learned that this Omni property is over 100 years old, which was evident in the room we initially checked into. It wasn't terrible, but it was small and needed some cosmetic attention. The room had a motel feel, but we were expecting something upscale. We went back to the front desk and explained the situation, prepared to ask for a refund and go to a different hotel. The woman helping us said that they didn't want us to leave, so she kindly upgraded us to a larger suite with a great view of the city. We were surprised and thankful for the gesture - but the Omni staff didn't stop there. They then sent champagne and chocolates to our room! We were thrilled. The next night we went to see a comedy show. When we returned to our room, we found rose petals trailing into the bedroom. A rose and more petals were arranged on the bed and soft music was playing on the TV. We then had MORE champagne and chocolates delivered to the room. We were absolutely humbled by the Omni's hospitality, which truly set the stage for a great weekend.

Every time we stay, we receive a quality stay. Everybody is so friendly and eager to help. The food is always good at 1913, and the staff there are always ready to go above and beyond for a good experience. We stay here every time we go to Indy, and we will continue to do so.

Bed was comfortable but the hotel has some issues. Housekeeping woke me at 830am to clean my room when I requested a late check-out of 1pm. Ice machine broken on my floor. Treadmills were full because one was broken. Staff was nice but they need to get it together.

The good:

The good:
Well located, friendly staff, nice room, comfy robes, elegant lobby.
The bad:
No parking ($40 valet, $20 per night near parking lots)
No free WiFi in room, beds are too soft, cleanliness can be improved, bathroom is too small, the bathtub doesn't drain, neither does the sink, AC unit too loud, and bottled water in your room will cost you $7

The room was smaller than hotels for half the price! And as a preferred guest, I would think I'd have a nicer room and I got none of the "extras" I was supposed to get! I still say ok because even though small, it was clean and even though beds were small they were comfortable.

A+

The description of the room we rented reads:

The description of the room we rented reads:

Ideal for entertaining, this room is your private, spacious oasis for relaxation and socializing in high style.
Features:
These 368 sq.feet Executive King rooms are located in the historic part of the hotel.
Spacious suite with small couch or chair with ottoman.
Luxurious bathroom with granite vanity and marble floor.
Sweeping city views or Old Union Station view.

This room seats 4 if 3 three people sit on the couch, and 1 person sits in the only chair provided.
The towels in the bathroom were chucked under the sink and the toiletries were opened when we arrived. The marble floor is tile.
From our room, we can see a parking garage and a windowless building facade.
The internet didn't work. I called the front desk. They forwarded me to IT. IT sent me back to the front desk. The front desk couldn't figure it out. This was at 11PM. Finally they told me I could simply click on a payed option and it would automatically work. This worked. UI problem I suppose. I was charged for the internet when I checked out.

Awful experience all around.

A terrible hotel experience. The room was dirty and outdated. When I arrived there was blood on two towels and the room phone was nonfunctional. This is supposed to be a high-end hotel, and it was nothing close to that. I normally stay at Hilton brand hotels. I made an exception, and will never do that again. They did replace my towels and fix the phone, but those are issues that I should not be experiencing at over $200 per night.

Very convenient to convention center, stadium, mall, and local restaurants. We didn't have to have the valet retrieve our vehicle 1 time during our stay as we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. That said, the $50/day valet fee is ridiculous. Our room was decent with 2 beds. The sink and tub were not draining properly the 1st night and they promptly fixed it the next morning when I let them know about it. The water pressure in the shower was unbelievable. It almost felt like a pressure washer. It was a bit much. Overall, we had a great stay.

Hotel was great! Amazing on the inside! Staff was incredible, especially Robin the concierge on duty while I was there. She helped arrange rose pedals and champagne in my room because I was proposing. Thank you SO MUCH Robin for what you did, it looked great!

The Omni in downtown Indianapolis is the standard all other hotels should be set to. They display unsurpassed excellence in professionalism and helpfulness from their staff. The room and hotel as a whole were beautiful.

Beautiful property. Had a small issue with the drain in the bathtub, but things like that happen. The $44 valet charge is outrageous and the $30 breakfast buffet isn't worth it. The hotel is in a great location though and very nice.
