Nice spacious room, friendly staff, clean, great value for the money

The hotels Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was not clean and the food was of lesser quality than one would expect. Hotel personnel entered my room without permission and when I inquired why, no one was able to give me an answer. Certainly not worth $300+ for room and taxes. I only tried the room service appetizers. I can't speak to the rest of their dining choices.

Horrible! Do not come to this dilapidated hotel.

The staff here are rude and care nothing for the safety of their guests. The allow taxis to sit in their parking lot and rip off their guests, driving them around town before taking them to their destination in beat up, broke down taxis.

When I tried to explain the issue to the manager, "Mark" the nighttime clerk who wants to be the manager, would not even allow the manger to speak. He just kept putting his two cents in about how it's not their problem.

It is your problem, if the hotel wants to allow these drivers to sit in their parking lot and prey on their guests then they should try to help resolve the issue

Substandard facility, phone staff was short and not very helpful. Had issues with A/C heating. Loud noise could not fine cause. Only had one Restaurant, bunch was very poor, most of food was cold or over cooked. Thought dinner would be better, dish so salt infested, could not finish meal. Very disappointed. I had stayed before, quality has definitely changed.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. There were no problems with checking in or out. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Could not have had a better experience.

I would like to give all the stars for our stay on 8/16 but was disappointed in finding out a parking lot and wasting 45 minutes (from 11.30pm till 12.15am) going all over the parking lot again and again! Finally got some help and was asked to park at Tower 1 which is on the opposite side of the hotel. I travelled 5 hours all the way from Lubbock to pick up my family from airport and with this parking issue I not only made my family to wait to spend time with me but didn t have enough rest to travel again 5 hours back to Lubbock. I took this to the notice of front desk while check out and I was offered with compensation of two free drinks!!

Update as of 9/9/19: Tracey Weinberg, Executive Assistant to the General Manager, was kind enough to reach us and took care of our stay on 9/7/19. We really felt that they cared for us, the issue we reported and genuinely took care of everything to give us a pleasant & peaceful stay this time. We really felt glad and moved by their way they care for their customer value and satisfaction! We are now happily giving them all the stars:)

Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel was well maintained and we loved the location!
We will definitely stay there again.

The rooms are huge although a tiny bit dated. Everything is very clean and staff is impeccable.

We slept very well and enjoyed the bar restaurant. The shuttle to the convention center worked well for us.

Staff has been great and even allowed us early check in, however our room was less than clean. The room was dated and needed repairs. We had no toilet paper holder. Thought it was really unprofessional to just set the toilet paper in the back of the toilet. I get I trouble for doing that at home. And all the stains found on the bedding!!! The house keeping manager was nice however only offered a simple apology and the exchange out the bedding.

I dealt with the concierge and had a great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable

This is a very nice, upscale hotel. Service and rooms are great. Would have been 5 stars except their dining choice is limited to overpriced subpar Italian. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Stayed in the King suite, and we were not disappointed. Had a great view of downtown Dallas and water feature. Balcony is small, standing room only.

Hotel is quite good overall, public areas are showing a bit of wear in spots but they are also undergoing some renovation so those issues may be addressed fairly quickly. Staff was pleasant and professional and the service level was very good overall.

Used to be our favorite place we frequented a lot.Room 2811 on the top floor . During our last day on memorial day weekend 2018 I woman hasn t been updated in years the mattress slept lousy poor ventilation in the bathroom We had no water Sunday morning to take a shower and when it finally came on my wife had a shower in Coldwater we went down to Travis for breakfast I m in the bathroom and there was a pair of underwear with feces on it in the corner of the toilet ( lower class people not a race thing ) I prepaid for 4 branches upon checkin When I checked out they were supposed to email me my receipt before they charge me they never did and it they double charged me for breakfast . Four of them to be exact . I was furious when I saw that on my checking account so I called the Omni and had them email me my receipt I caught it and then I called them back two minutes later and they adjusted it too little too late you ve lost my trust and my business my wife and I will be booking elsewhere

The BEST hotel in the DFW metroplex by a mile! Superb staff, and service, amazing food, gorgeous spaces with lovely views. The Mokarq Spa is not to be missed. Perfect for staycations, or large conferences and weddings...love the Mandalay!

Everything was good except parking one of my nights i had to park way across the street and i had on heals it was very inconvenient. The pool area was wonderful.

Fantastic restaurant with a great staff and great food. Also just outside the hotel has nice walking paths and very well kept gardens surrounded by a paddle boat river. Great place for family photos.

I have brought my wife here for overnight dates several times, and it is always a great experience. The hotel is lovely and well maintained, the rooms quiet, comfortable and clean, the beds plush, and the staff friendly and helpful. They have been very generous with upgrades many times. The views from high in the tower are great, and the suites with balconies are wonderful.
The Omni Select Guest program is excellent and well worth it, providing free wifi, shoe shines, water, and upgrades. The hotel's restaurant has a super breakfast buffet, one of the best we've every had, which is cheaper if you reserve it online before your stay.
For some reason, Las Colinas Blvd., which runs in front of the hotel, has been torn up for it seems like forever, which makes the area seem not as nice. But the hotel is super nice. [Bring a brick for your charging cords; the only USB charging ports are on the TV, and the TV is one of those annoying Hotel ones: If you are not seated in front of the TV it always reverts to the ads and promotions if it is turned on, and snaps out of mute to do so.]

Staff is friendly and helpful. However I need to honestly point out that this hotel has some sort of weird smell (in the lobby and the room). If you are a smell sensitive person (hmm but the smell is pretty obvious), you probably want to book a different hotel.

The room was great but service was a little pricey and even with an instruction like no mushrooms and the rest normal wasnt done for us

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Omni. The cost is very low compared to the level of service and environment.

I had high hopes for this place and they were crushed . When we checked in, we were told that the hotel were undergoing repairs and the water would be shut off at 10am tomorrow. This was not mentioned on the site when I booked it, nor the confirmation email I received, and I had paid the full regular price for the hotel. Because of the lack of water in the morning, I asked if they would provide water bottles for guests who were there past then. They replied that they hope most guests will leave by then but if I was still there there were 6$ water bottles I should be happy to use in my room. In addition you have to pay for Wi-Fi if you're not an omni member, and breakfast is not included in the price of the hotel. And the coffee tasted terrible. Overall, deeply disappointed in my first experience with omni hotels and I will not stay here again.

I never leave disappointed at an Omni stay. Their facilities are excellent and their service and attentiveness is always top notch. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and they took the time and care to make sure we were pampered in every way possible. We're planning on coming back next year.

Very nice place to stay. Outside along the canal is great at night. In room dining is wonderful.

The construction around the area is terrible. Hard to navigate

In this day and age, not having free WiFi is a real downside. Overall very nice hotel, but no hotel shuttle from airport.

Always a great place to visit and love the location. The hotel is getting tired and older. Always friendly staff but do have difficulty handling larger groups for food services.

The view, the room was really nice. The staff is really friendly. I recommend everybody stay here if your around :)

Bread was great. The braised short rib leaves something to be desired. I wouldn't go back. I wasn't impressed at all by the food. Drinks were excellent. So I would say it's a nice happy hour spot.

Had a great weekend with the wife just camping out at the Mandalay. Great restaurant, bar and roomservice. The main lobby is like hanging out in a grand, but cozy living room. Lots of large windows and nice views.
As always, the staff was very professional in all areas.

This was the first time I took advantage of the online check-in and wasn't sure where to go to find my key. The reception crew were busy so I approached an unoccupied spot at the counter and someone immediately popped out from the back asking how they could help. It turned out I was standing next to the expess check-in key holder. Mine was not ready, but even so, it only resulted in about a 45 second delay. Only a minor glitch, but it was handled very quickly. And it was, actually, the only glitch the whole weekend.

The room size and layout was a pleasant surprise. We were made very comfortable even with the street work going on out front.

Staying here for some training near by. Comfortable rooms that are clean and neat my training location made this a great pick.

OMG! This hotel was gorgeous. I was there visiting my friend and her son for about 2 hours. Her hotel room was so cute and very nice and clean. She was on floor 22 and the view was amazing. Now the balcony only extends about 2 feet from the room, but our kids had a great time on the balcony.

Spacious, clean rooms and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating!

Though not my taste, I can appreciate the dated decor. The stay was very quiet. There was a mix up at check in but it was swiftly and courteously taken care of by Treven at the front desk.

Only reason it gets 4 is because the parking lot is too short husbands truck almost hit the ceiling! But other than that it was great

My husband and I booked a suite at omni for a getaway and we added the Mandalay escape package.. once we drove up, they took our car. We checked in so quickly and the gentleman that helped was amazing. The room was decorated with rose petals from the entrance to the bed..we were given wine and chocolate strawberries. our room was on the 28th floor so we had a nice day and night view. Tbe pillows are fluffy and bed was amazing. The room is spacious and has a lot of space for luggage. The mirror was cool and the bathroom also has good lighting.The AC was amazing and the bathroom was clean. The mini bar had a good selection. It was so quiet at night. We tried out the pool and hot tub and it was wonderful! And then Trevis was delicious. The buffet was also great since it also came in our package. The check out was quick and valet brought our car back quickly. I will be staying again!!!

Room views were nice. The grounds were nice. Staff was nice. Internet requires a fee unless you're a rewards member. No ice machine I could find on my level. Bathroom had wallpaper peeling off.

The service was excellent from the belstaff to the front desk to the bartenders at the pool. The hotel was beautiful and clean and the room was perfect. I had a most enjoyable stay and spent two full days at the pool overlooking the canal. It was very tropical looking and I almost felt like I was vacationing in Miami! Excellent property!
