Had a great stay. Entire hotel staff was extremely nice & helpful. The bartenders we're great. Located in the heart of the city with so much to do. The connection to the epicenter is great as well. We will be back!

I have stayed in lots of hotels in the Charlotte area for work, and this is one of the oldest/ least clean. They're going through a badly needed renovation, but currently everything is outdated. this morning I found a flea-like bug and thought I'd call to let them know after I checked out so maybe they could put some chemical down. They just put me on hold for over 5 minutes, which is typical of their service. If I were you, stay at the Westin/Marriott/Dunhill. All of those are much nicer and cleaner than this place.

What a joke . First we pull in to get greeted by the valley lady who says do we want to valley I answer no we want to save money she says ok get a ticket out the machine for the parking garage no other instructions were given. We pull in to this weird garage we re all spots say reserve we ride around for 25 mins then just choose one. There are no carts to carry ur bag til the lobby calls for one two floors above parking so if you have a 2 year old like me be prepared.go to lobby where it s under construction that s fine everyone remodels but no directions on to go around all the construction to check in or a greet to say simply you can come this way .then I ask how do we park well Marie says if u stay there in the garage u need to pay 45. over night. So I ask so I have to pay to get out for just going in there to check in then turn around pay y all to go in the same garage and park the car again she said yes.transferred me to Thayand the manager/cashier for valet I said can I just pay y all the 24 so I can save 10.00 since it s in the same lot she said no.I said well shouldn t u train ur employees to advise that we don t have. Choice we have to valet or pay double she said if we say it that way people won t like it I asked well I m sure people don t like to be slapped with two parking fees in one garage at the same time she said yes I can t help u it is unfortunate. I call Marie back the front desk clerk ask can I just check out and be refunded since I ve only been here 20 mins. She says yes come on down I said and I will get a full refund she says yes I think so u haven t used anything I said I used the bathroom I asked for her to confirm she said u can check out but we do still have to charge u for the room like the hell type of show y all got going on here I have a two year old it s 10:30 at night and this is what we have to deal with . Never again

My parents were staying at the Omni and we were at the Westin but met them for drinks at the Omni bar. There were 6 of us and the service was good, but the drinks were definitely super pricey, even for an Omni. Atmosphere was great.

Excellent! Two night stay for a mid week get away and visit with local friends. Very helpful and courteous staff. Very nice and scenic eighth floor room. Food court with Starbuck's, Chic Til A, and others in a plaza on floor below Lobby. Two block walk to Time Warner Arena where we watched a pro basketball game. NASCAR museum 4 blocks away. Many, many very good eating places within two blocks. Under $200/night including tax and parking charges. Quite pleased.

Didn't get the full service of the Hotel because of the remodeling.

We pull in to the garage, roll windows down and none of what turn out to be the omni employees pay a lick of attention. We continue thinking maybe the valet is somewhere else. We call and do a big loop through uptown. The gentleman on the oboe is extremely nice and patient. When we got there we were told that they double booked our room and that we in turn got a double upgrade. We'd just drove 8 hours, it was at 3pm. The catch was, we'd have to wait till closer to 4 to check in. Cool, we'll go eat now and that would still give us time for our concert. Happy surprise. Come 4pm, we've heard nothing. Wife asks, about room and is told "you'll get a text when it's ready". Come 4:45 I go and ask and after the manager is bright up, am told they had a large stain on the carpet, not sure how long it will take to clean, might not be able to use the room at all now etc. But! We can get you the room you originally booked! (Ironic) Ok, but I've just waited almost 2 hours in funky driving clothes. We'd planed to take a nap and shower before the show. Now we are hoping to both fit showers in as we were leaving before 6. They knocked $100 of the rate. Awesome, fine, I need a shower. Room is ok. We get one right next to the elevators, so we have heard that all night and morning. Toilet paper holder is coming out of the wall and the bathroom area is super tiny. Which is odd considering the size of the room. Water was left spilled on one of the side tables. Another was dusty with something smudged over half of it. The bed posts are extremely loose, everytime we move the knock the wall a few times. So, most of the associates here were great. But the run around and noisy/messy room was a sad ending for our last two days of vacation.

They just renovated much of the hotel and it looks great! You can't beat the location as it's literally almost on top of the epicenter. The rooms are nice and spacious and the service we received whole there was great as well. I definitely recommend a stay here if you're in Charlotte.

Terrible. Will NEVER stay here again. Rooms dated, small awkward bathroom and there was no water from 12 am to 5 am which we were not notified about prior to check in. My husband and I came to Charlotte for the Miguel concert at the Fillmore and were utterly disgusted to get back to the hotel and not be able to shower or use the bathroom. At checkout the staff was nonchalant about the issue and didn't offer so much as an apology for the inconvenience. That on top on the $24 parking fee has put the Omni Charlotte at the bottom of my list for hotel choices.

The room and view were amazing. I love the cleanliness and decor of the room and hotel overall. Our food and drinks were also great. Had we not been waiting so long to check in, I would've rated my experience a 5star. But things happen.

I came to Charlotte on business, and instead might as well have been out clubbing all night given what it sounded like from my room. The hotel can t control this, but there s a full on outdoor club just outside the hotel. It starts on Thursday and goes all weekend. It couldn t be any louder unless you were literally sitting on the club s speakers. The front desk person told me the good news is it stops around 2am. That helps no one planning on getting to sleep at a decent hour. I can not believe the city of Charlotte allows this. The hotel staff were very apologetic and their hands are tied, but the reality is, don t stay here from Thursday-Sunday if you d like to get sleep.

Recently visited for a wedding reception for my son. Parking was very convenient to the reception area. The reception area itself was modern and we'll maintained. The food provided was outstanding. All staff were courteous and helpful. I cannot imagine this event being staged in a better manner anywhere in downtown Charlotte than it was managed by the Omni.

Not worth it for the $235/night. Small rooms, pool closed. Sauna closes in the evening. Nickel and dime you for everything. It's 2017, and no free wifi here? Seriously?? If you want wifi, it's $15.00 a day. Also charged me $50 to park overnight. Top it off with a $3.75 can of diet coke.
Sorry Omni, but I was not at all impressed. I will stay at Aloft or Hilton next time and get a better room at a better rate with better amenities.

Gorgeous room and hotel. Very convenient to everything you could possibly need or want. The only problem was the level of street noise that was heard in the room( day and night time)
Super friendly staff.

This is a great hotel. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and it s in a great location. Also if you are a gym goer the relationship with the on-site Charlotte Athletic Club is amazing. Best hotel gym I have ever been too. It pretty much has any piece of equipment you could want and heavy free weights.

The only knock is the valet parking cost but that seems to be about the going rate.

Hotel was under constuction which was not mentioned on the website. Expected rooms to be really nice for $$$ a night, however it was more on the cheap looking side. They only have 2 elevators for 15 floors and when we left for a concert only one was working, we had to wait for 20 minutes to get the elevator. When we returned from the concert both elevators were broke so staff was taking 12 people at a time from the waiting area to the staff elevator which you had to go through their trash area to get too and then we ended up waiting at that one for another hour. I highly do not recommend this hotel.

Room was great however at 1:00 AM all we could hear were people yelling and screaming. Ended up having to leave because we couldn t sleep. When we asked for our vehicle valet pulled my car around and then REFUSED to give me the keys to my car causing a HUGE scene. Multiple people standing outside videoing the whole event. He was RUDE and very unprofessional. Thankfully another valet came over and politely handed me my keys after about 15 mins of confrontation with the other guy. Completely unacceptable.

Found out when I got there that they force you to use their Valet Parking for $24 a night or use per hour parking totaling $40 a night. Extra rip off. Wish they would have disclosed that when I booked the room. I canceled my other 2 stays with them.

Do not waste your money here. Me and my wife stayed to celebrate my birthday but oh boy, that was a huge mistake! Their roof was leaking so rain was hitting our ceiling really loud and constant all night long, nasty white stain on the sofa, hair dryer smelled like arm pit when it is turned on, you can here loud music and people talking from surrounded restaurants and bars all night long. Also walls are thin, you can hear conversation from next room. We address all these issue to the expedia and after expedia tried so hard to get us full refund from the hotel, hotel s manager offered us 20% discount. Are you serious????? Customer service at this hotel sucked, managers don t have common sense. We will not have business with this hotel no more!

I'm currently staying at the Omni and I want to say that Shelley and the other gentleman (didn't get his name) working the front desk are simply amazing! They went above and beyond tonight for me and this hotel should be grateful for such a great staff!

Noise at night from nearby Epicenter ( Thursday thru Saturday) is very loud. I mean very loud. At check-in we specifically asked to be placed in a very quiet room. The woman at reception must have misunderstood our request and gave us a room with both a door to an adjoining room and facing the Epicenter side of the building. They finally agreed to move us to the quiet side of the hotel at 2:30am. We saw several other guests who were also being relocated. Apart from that the property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Make sure you get a room on the quiet side!
