Poor workmanship. I. Am still asking to do some . Ac not strong enough. Narrow outside steps. Dangerous without handrails. Garage door issue. Finish home not as promised like the model. Their finance sucks. All screen windows to be redone they don t fit snug. The location is convenient for us so we bought.
I would not buy a home built by an organization that was founded by such an unethical individual as Steve O! He owned OMC Apartment complex in Newport Beach for close to 30 years and he and his property manager rented toxic units causing serious health problems to tenants.

Very poor workmanship and no attention to detail. All of the doors in my house are not aligned correctly and the repair people Olson has sent out to address the issue have been a joke. Roof also had leaking issues which started from the 1st year I moved in (I am original owner). Still have leaking to date. I have been thrown around to various customer sastisfaction representatives from Olson over the years. Jason Voegeli, my most recent rep, has told me either that s maintanence, contact your HOA or sorry your out of warranty . When I told him about previous service requests that were made starting when I moved in he said he had no record and even if I were to provide him with evidence of the requests there was nothing he could do. Absolutely ridiculous! Save yourself the headaches and stay away from Olson homes. Their homes are complete garbage.

Very Poor Finish work, Interior and Exterior. Visited a family member that bought one of your condos, and I regret not having input into their purchase. The first thing I noticed was the Air Conditioning Compressors on a raised cmu wall at the front entry of units. No even an effort to enclose or disguise. The exterior stucco was very incomplete with multiple colors and scratches in the finish, even the wrought iron railing had stucco over-spray that the painters painted over. The interior doors were pathetic, the reveals were not equal, with the jamb sideds touching and the other three sides 1/8"-1/4". Paint was terrible as well! Granite counter upgrades were a plus, but the granite fabrication was very amatuer. Fiberglass tub/shower enclosures at a $500K price point, and the cheapest toilets available. Complete ripoff builder, should be ashamed of the product they produce!
Bought an Olson built home in 2015. The house was built in 1997. Learning from all of the other home-owners in this community that every house in the community has had electrical issues, plumbing issues, foundation issues, and just poor workmanship in general. I m definitely outside of the statute of limitations for getting anything corrected, but people should know that this builder does not do good work. They cut corners anytime they can. Do your due diligence if purchasing a home built by them.
