O have stayed here a few times while in New Orleans and haven't been disappointed yet. It's close to everything you want to see in New Orleans and is fair in their pricing.

I thought the room was clean, everything worked, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is going for a more rustic feel and I appreciate what they are going for. In the past it was dog friendly but I am no longer suee it applies.

They also have a downstairs bar/restroom where the bartenders were very social and made many recommendations on restaurants and things to do.

Bottom line is when staying in New Orleans I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Love the character of the hotel, the aroma as you enter, and the refreshing cool air after escaping the heat of NO! The rooms are comfy! We met some great staff in the bar area. Victoria and Kim were especially friendly and accommodating. Going above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. They were so friendly and helpful to us newbies to this area for the 1st time, offering suggestions and recommendations. The breakfast is also yummy with such different options. The people in general in NO are so friendly.

Great location, attentive staff, hipster decorated rooms (really nice!). Fair warning: Price is just a little high and some rooms are small, spend your time out enjoying the city and you'll love your stay.

The hotel is beautiful and the service was second to none. I would like to give a special thank you to concierge Mr Ray. He made each morning a pleasure and his knowledge of sites, food and music was on point.

Nice rooms, good hotel only thing is I asked for a feather free room and got the opposite. Housekeeper even came to check and said it was feather free. Unbeknownst to me the pillows all had feathers :(

I had a speaking engagement and discovered the morning of that I only brought a suit jacket. My suit pants never left home. The bell hop Ray helped me out, and after I spent a little money, I was business casual by 830... The staff here really goes above and beyond.

Visited with my wife, overall we had an enjoyable stay. While, you don't get all of the amenities of a standard hotel, other features make up for it in my opinion. I enjoyed the art collection, decor and fragrance of the building. Our room was clean and comfortable. Room service and valet attendants were amazing; very friendly/personable, and polite. I can't say the same about service in the lobby, it varied greatly throughout our stay. No one was particularly rude, but the tone wasn't always welcoming either. Apart from that, this place has a lot of character, I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Great! It's an old warehouse so it's not built to soundproof but I loved the rustic vibe. Water was shut off for about 3 hours one day but it's not there fault youll see its the entire city. Do showers at night is best. Staff was friendly and helpful. Priceline gave it to me for the name my own price so I paid almost 100 less for my stay then others. But didnt know which hotel is get til booked. I'm happy with what they picked. I'd stay here again. 2 blocks from French quarter. Took 1 street all the way straight to cafe du monde and Jackson square.

The Good: The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean. The Bad: Showers were lukewarm, no bathtub; Room fixtures were installed in odd ways (we didn't have a place for our toilet paper roll); If you have a window, it does not offer any actual sunlight and s imply looks out onto a brick wall. You have NO idea what time of day it is when you're in your room; There is NO insulation and you can hear EVERYTHING going on around your room, even if it's just people having a quiet conversation next door; There are no actual dressers or shelf space; The downstairs area is being renovated so it looks NOTHING like the photos online; The acoustics of the room + the creaky floors makes it impossible to be quiet unless you are holding perfectly still. The Ugly:We thought we were booking a hotel which reflected elements of the city and looked a bit rustic (like the old photos online). We got a hotel that looks like it was designed by a hipster modern ritzy bachelor with clearly no actual sense when it comes to creating rooms that offer comfort, warmth, or quiet. They wanted to make it look "cool", and really didn't think about how any of their decor would actually function.

Fantastic hotel, the setting & the atmosphere was amazing. The rooms were lovely and the staff were excellent, the best part was Joe and Gill who were the bar staff, I cannot recommend the Old No 77 enough.

Beautiful design and art throughout this hotel, I love the integrated design elements and artwork in the rooms and common spaces. Bed was super comfy as was the entire room. Don't expect to stay here and have your normal chain experience, each room has an "honor bar" stocked with local fare such as Zapps Chips and Old New Orleans Rum. Our room was on the street side and you could hear the bar across the street at night but not enough to keep us awake except for the occasional blown horn. Sure valet is a little pricey as are most of the additions, but that is normal for this price and location.

The staff was friendly, the bar made a great drink. When we got to our room, we mostly just dropped our stuff off and headed out to make our dinner reservation on time. We ended up getting back to our room around 1am and pulled the sheets back to find fresh blood splatter. I say fresh as in it was not a stain, it was still red and went through several layers of the blanket and sheets. Someone came up and checked it out, and brought us to another room, which was larger and nicer. She said the maid must have cut her hand and didn't notice. The following morning when checking out we were asked how our stay was. I mentioned what happened and that desk clerk told ne that homeless people sneak in and crash in the rooms sometimes. So, as much as I loved the feel and the aesthetic of the hotel and the rooms, we will not be going back.

The hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable! However .. big flat. I understand that this is an old converted building, but there is zero insulation in the walls of the rooms and the door. During my stay of 4 nights, I could easily hear my neighbors coughing, making love or just talking. I was also awakened late in the evening and in the morning by people talking in the corridors. Also, there was no natural light in my room, as the only small window did not overlook the outside.

Rustic New Orleans atmosphere. Friendly staff. Rated a 4 and not a 5 because the shower floor was very dirty in the corners, and more importantly because as a hotel guest I expexted to be able to eat in the hotel restaurant. After all, the restaurant is one of the things they use to lure guests. But apparently it is so popular it was completely booked on the off-season Sunday night we were there.

Stayed with them for four nights, overall a pretty good experience. Hotel is very pretty and room is decorated very well, staff is friendly and very knowledgable though had two minor things, the main light in the room burnt out asked for it to be replaced instead they cleaned the room and did not replace the light. Ran out of toilet paper asked for more on our way out and when we came back in the evening we did not have any new tp. Would probably stay here again but may look for other options within this price range.

Very unique hotel, great location, dog friendly felt very safe and the staff were all excellent. Would travel to New orleans just to stay longer in this hotel. Rooms were very large with lots of charm and well thought out design. We have recommended it to all our family and friends. Loved it!

My favorite hotel in Nola (and I ve stayed at quite a few). Really cool renovated old warehouse with updated rooms and squeaky, original floors and a cool vibe. Located outside of the quarter but a 10 minute walk to the convention center. Ray from valet is awesome and will really treat you right. Bar is cool and hip but typically pretty crowded.

This is a millennial hotel with rustic classic feel. If your a minimalist this hotel will be a great fit but if your not you'll notice that the hotel cuts a lot of corners. We had to call for soap and towels each day we were there. The noise in our room went on until about 5am each day. The restaurant for us was a miss. The staff could use more training in hospitality through out the entire hotel. We've stayed all over New Orleans. It's our favorite run away so this hotel is a NO for us moving forward. Just a disappointment for what you pay.

Overall a good place, however the description of a "room with a window" was a bit deceiving. Though we indeed have a window, it was against a wall so there was no natural light coming in. The window was more there for decoration and served no purpose. Additionally, the staff was a bit rude and when I tired to discuss this with them. It was a bit off-putting. Next time, I'll probably just stay somewhere else.

Can't recommend this hotel enough. Very clean, trendy and staff was great. Rooms were decorated nicely, huge windows allowed great lighting during the day and not too far from some of New Orleans hot spots.

We've had a great stay here. Really trendy and the staff are fantastic (particularly Ray what a legend!). Others have commented about the noise outside, don't let it put you off you'll be partying too much to care

This is my favorite place to stay in new Orleans. I love the old age of the building with the old look to the rooms. It is a very classy place. Also walking distance away from everything you want to do in the city.

I love this hotel, but I book through a third party site, they always have holds on my card as I book one day at a time. So after my last stay I had over $300.00 of holds on my card, over and above what I had been charged, which coming up to the weekend is inconvenient. The staff are fantastic and the location is great.

We went for the last 3 days of Mardi gras. The room was large, clean and beautiful! The bed was comfortable and the room had been updated recently. They were still under construction but it did not affect our stay at all. Breakfast was cereal, coffee and juices. My dog was welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would gladly stay again, especially for Mardi gras, there were several parades right past the hotel! Perfect.

A great place to stay from which to explore the city. Just outside the noise of the French quarter but within a few minutes walking distance. We loved the quirky style and the fantastic coffee and 'avo on toast' for breakfast. Don't expect five star amenities, but do expect character, authenticity and overall good value.

Had to wait over 4 hours past check in time. Asked several times what was going on. They just said the room isn't ready yet. Then a pipe broke in the lobby and flooded it. They were using industrial dryers to dry up the water. All that did was warp the wood floor turning it into a roller coaster.
