Staff was nice. Room was clean and cozy but had no microwave in it. Bed slept well and nice for a weekend getaway. But if you check out early watch your credit card statement to ensure that you are not fraudulently charged for any additional nights stay.

Cool historic and warehouse type vibes at the hotel! Love the style, but it's currently under construction so it's a bit confusing to navigate around the hotel. Good location, not far from French Quarter at all!
Gorgeous rooms! However, it was the small things that got to me: no trash can in the bathroom, no electric kettle. BUT their redemption is in them offering mini bar credit for not utilizing housekeeping!
Great throwback hotel, with awesome art within its halls. Love the hardwood floors and art inside the rooms. Only downside, all the ice machines were out of service.
I concur with the reviews of the other guests that the staff service is lacking. Their valet is woefully understaffed and frankly downright rude. We stayed there Father's Day weekend, and our wait to retrieve our car was 25 minutes, because they ran out of valet parking space and were refusing to retrieve more cars until the other guests came to check out. When I suggested that I would simply walk to my own car, the valet told me he would charge me extra, because I would have no longer used their overnight valet service. He would not get my car, he would not let me get my car, so we simply had to stand there waiting for the other guests to check out and move their cars while the valet just held my keys in his hand. It's a shame because the hotel itself has a great ambiance.
The hotel is really cool. The only issues we had was that there was a dirty balled up sock left on the floor from a previous guest and also a dirty towel shoved into the hairdryer bag. So the cleaning between guests could be a bit more thorough but we enjoyed our stay and would return.
Nice boutique hotel which smells VERY strongly of perfume. The rooms are nice, but pets are allowed and there was a dog barking all evening next to our room. The shower was designed in such a way that all water ended up on the rest of bathroom floor. Service was friendly though - check-in/out went smoothly. Location is excellent.
I was only 5 hours they charged me 100 of deposit and for a chocolate that I ate, they did not return the deposit I do not recommend them very bad hotel and they do not take care of it well
I must say the experience my girlfriend and I had here was completely top notch. From the time we were greeted by the valet up until the moment we left everyone was completely courteous and the service was impeccable. We loved the fragrance throughout the hotel, the paintings and decor was really nice. Our room was very clean and pleasant. The housekeeping was on point and our room was cleaned every day we were there. I want to give a specific acknowledgement to Kat. You made our stay there even more the better. You were very warm, welcoming, and professional. Your suggestions about different places to visit and tour were spot on. The room you provided was perfect and ensured that it was in area of the hotel where the "late night" happenings in the area wouldn't disturb our rest. We want to thank you and your staff for your kindness and professionalism and we would definitely be back again. You made our trip even more memorable. Not that many people in the city were as warm and welcoming as you and your staff were. Only a few here and there but your service attitude and genuine care for us and your other guests stands out and is totally appreciated. Thank you
Nice, clean hotel with style. Great location, lots of parking options, though not inexpensive. Hopping bar at Compere Lapin. Good coffee bar with pastries for breakfast. My only irritation is the room above us had constant stomping at all hours of the day. Most likely it is not a standard room but some working area. The wood floors, brick walls and old single pane windows ( with lots of cracks!) do not insulate noises at all. I am not bothered by city noises, however the footsteps above started driving me nuts. The room was comfortable enough, but it was lacking some surface space- only one night stand, tiny table in bathroom. Overall it worked for us. We'll be back, but won't pay $250 full price.
Love it. This place embraces the old world charm and style of New Orleans. I would stay here over and over again. 10 of 10. It's not 4 or 5 star but doesn't have to be. It's fantastic all the way. The bar and restaurant is great. The lobby is very inviting. You can actually chill for a while and really enjoy the lobby/bar. Also, the shower controls are very simple: hot and cold. Some hotels you have to break out a drawing just to figure out how to turn on or get hot or cold water. My wife said it's not enough space for makeup and stuff for bathroom. And shower curtain sometimes doesn't hold water back from getting on the floor. That didn't bother me. Beds are comfortable and the TV selection is great. The room is decent sized for a boutique hotel. Everything you need. But I don't think they had a fridge. It's a bit of a maze though as my wife and I had a hard time getting back to the elevator. The artwork is awesome and entertaining. Gift shop, too. 10 of 10. Come to this hotel. This is NOT a paid review. We just really liked this hotel and it was at a great price, too.
The air conditioner was loud and kept me from sleeping. Also the tub was clogged and water was creeping up around my ankles when I showered. That room should have been put out of order instead of being booked! I wanted to like this place but it was an overall bad experience. Sad!
Perfect location - everything you might want to do is a reasonable walk or less than $10 uber away for the most part, yet the area isn't super busy or crowded. The rooms are very spacious and I love the urban and eclectic style. Don't miss brunch or dinner at Compere Lapin - this has to be one of the absolute most amazing restaurants in the entire state of Louisiana! We had both dinner and Sunday brunch while we were there and every bite of food is absolutely divine and perfectly executed!
Friendly and capable staff. We arrived before the check in time and they held on to our bags so we could go explore the city. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Bed was massive. Location is great, a short walk from the French Quarter and public transit to other parts of the city.
The only place you should stay if you re going to the convention center. It s worth the short walk...even in the heat. Great proximity to everything. Wonderful urban mid-century atmosphere. Rooms are clean, spacious, and worth the night in
