I have had a terrible experience with a Ford Focus I purchased here. It is at best a lemon and Ford's handling of this cars multiple recalls and service issue has been deplorable. I would love to trade this car in but I'm upside down (no surprise) and have learned that sometimes it's best to pay for a mistake and let it go than to make another mistake - which buying another car from Olathe Ford would be for me.
I have had many purchasing experiences with Olathe Ford and in each case, the professionalism shown by the Sales staff has been very comprehensive. In this recent purchase (lease) I was able to observe the teamwork it takes by many different Olathe Ford personnel to satisfy the customer. It still takes the initiative of the original Sales person to steer the process with the customer through to completion. Cassie did this well to keep me informed of the status of the complete process as she worked diligently with the various department personnel that were involved in completing their respective responsibilities. Cassie made sure the final closure with my old vehicle was accomplished and made the introduction to the new vehicle satisfying and complete.

I've been taking my 2010 Ford Escape to Olathe Ford to be serviced for about a year now, and have been impressed with the great customer service and workmanship of their Service Department.In early May, we decided to buy a Ford Fusion, so we went to Olathe Ford. The experience was outstanding. We worked with Chris Bell who scoured inventory around the region to find exactly what we were looking for. When we didn't find anything, we ended up placing an order to have one built. Chris explained the process to us and kept us updated as the car was being built. On delivery day, Chris and Jesse Hogg took time to go over all the details of our new car. Pat Larkin made the finance process quick and easy. Without a doubt the smoothest, most hassle-free car-buying process I've ever been through. When it's time to get another Ford, we will be buying it here.

I have been going to Olathe Ford for 7 years now so this review is far overdue. I have bought a truck from there and always had both my truck and my car serviced there. The Quicklane/ service guys are awesome I always deal with Mike Wells or Josh Englebrake. I would never take a vehicle anywhere else. Growing up My parents took their car's to a little 2 stall garage in small town Iowa and being able to have that same relationship feel, in the big city atmosphere is rare, but alive here.
Olathe Ford took care of everything along the way of buying a new car. We were set out on a different car that we had found on the internet. After talking to the salesman we found out that car wasn't going to work out for us. It wasn't quite big enough. The salesman promptly found us a much better car that was exactly what we wanted. The aftermarket department got us hooked up with accessories as well. When it came to signing the papers, we were in and out in a snap. I have bought multiple cars from Olathe Ford and will continue to buy from them!
The Quick Lane people were great. However your online appointment scheduling system "stinks". I set up my appointment online and got a confirmation back to put on my calendar. When I arrived for my appointment it was not on the schedule. Whoever is responsible for this system needs to review the system and get it's inadequacies fixed.

My name is Chris Wilson and I recently purchased a 2007 F150 XLT. I will start by saying that I was very impressed and pleased with my salesman Josh Cook. He was very professional and kept me in the loop throughout my experience. Josh went out of his way to make sure that I was able to drive my new/used vehicle home by getting me the deal I needed to make the sale happen.
Now on the flip side, and I am sure it has more to do with the service department than it does Josh, but when I got home I looked under the hood a lot closer than when I test drove it and discovered the hoses were not replaced and I am pretty sure the receipt from service said they were, and the cooling system looked like it had mud in it. It took me almost 4 hours to flush the nasty, clay like coolant out of the cooling system. I am totally happy with my experience on Josh's end. but very displeased with the service the technician did prior to the sale. I used to work for a Ford dealer and I would never have said I replaced something unless I did, and in no way, shape or form would I have let a vehicle go to the sales floor or lot with coolant that was as nasty as what was in this truck.

Brian did not try to "hard sell" me as the negotiations on price and trade-in went very smoothly. When we came in to pick up the vehicle all of the paperwork had been completed and the car was cleaned. We just had to sign some papers and be on our way. Very good job by Brian, Chris, and the Finance team.

They've always been professional and spend time explaining what needs to be done. I appreciate never feeling like I was being pushed to have something done. I also really like the fact I can get a ride to work if something is going to take a bit longer than expected. In fact based on how I was treated in the service area I just purchased a new vehicle from Olathe Ford.

This is for the service department, so I cannot speak to the sales department but I will not be taking my business here.
I called to make an appointment, because as most dealerships I assume a long wait for an oil change. Made the appointment and could be seen several days later. I arrived for my Monday at 1300 appointment. The guy wasn t the most polite and short, but ok maybe he was efficient. Then I was told it would be over an hour wait.
An hour wait for an oil change that takes 15 minutes. Then I was told it takes that long because they need to rotate the tires and do an inspection. I then explained I asked for no inspection, and being the cars tires (stock from the factory) are bigger in the rear and smaller in the front, and directional I told him it would be impossible for him to rotate the tires. I was then told it would still be an hour. So I canceled the appointed I waited several days for and asked to speak with the manager.
Service Manager was polite, but then again came the rotation of the tires and inspection speech. Which I again replied to the above. Then I was told it was because they would need to put the vehicle on the lift and be extra careful with my particular type of vehicle. Which is odd to me, how would he know the vehicle is hard to put on a lift and no idea the tires are not the same size and therefore cant be rotated?
At this point I was told it was still an hour wait, so what point was the appointment for? Well so I didn t wait 4 hours in the quick lane, where I was told it would take 20 minutes per vehicle per lane. Well 2 vehicles where there so maybe it would have been quicker?
Second why are you putting the car on the lift, risking damage for an oil change, and not over a bay? Response bays are only for the quick lane. In reality they most likely overbooked and would hope I would leave the vehicle. No mechanic worth anything takes an hour for an oil change, especially when you cant rotate the tires and no inspection was requested for the famous up sale.
I agree with Tobi on Google, would give zero stars if I could. I would reach out to Ford Main if I thought it would make a difference, but I am the idiot that paid 60K for a car, and over the last 20 years 200k with Ford. That will teach me.
They may be great at sells, who knows. But Service is part of the package here and it isn t a good one. Most likely this appointment was made, and they figured if they had time they would get to it when they could. Hence why I was asked 3 times if I was leaving the vehicle. Deceptive at worst, incompetent at best.

The service coordinators Mindy and Mike are excellent. I understand its a tough job and they make every effort to make our experience rewarding. My only disappointment comes from the vehicle itself and the number of problems it has had.

He s not pushy and doesn t try to sell you a car you don t really want, just to make a sale like many car salesmen. He helped us over a 2 month span and found the perfect car.
