I have filed for unemployment over a month ago before this virus hit. I call and call and no on ever answers. The online website tells you nothing. You dont get emails or notices saying what is going on with your claim. Can someone please call me and help me out?!! This is ridiculous...

The sheer amount of incompetence here is staggering, it's been 75 days and still nothing. They have had nothing but issues ongoing and over 2 hour waits. I'm defaulting on bills and losing life saving medications.. No one seems to care here at all.
I love not only standing in-line next to people who can't social distance much less wear a mask to be turned away.. the 2nd best thing about this place? Being on hold for hours only to have an agent answer mute the line and hang up 30 minutes later or to be straight disconnected. THROW THIS WHOLE PLACE AWAY! Oh and why are out of state agents answering the phone? Sounds like jobs that could go to oklahomans

We just gotta go thru the process of getting back in to see what glitch it is now....??? I am sure none of us like going thru this... If we could work I would rather be back at my job in the oilfield........!!!!!! Now looking to educate myself on something new...... I've tried everyday to get someone on the phone. Benefits were coming in fine for almost 2 months then something happened when the new website went live. I changed nothing, I've continued to file like normal every week but I am no longer being paid and my claim has been "under review" for 4 weeks now.
Why do they work Monday to Friday 8-5? They need to do overtime and fix this ! 8 -9 . Adjust the. Hours split shifts! Come on now people are hurting! Work over time!!!
My wife and I applied For unemployment the first week of March . We both have schedule c a & 1099 a. My wife has called multiple times and has sent over our taxes and bank records and I d verification. We have emailed as well . We are on week 5 of not being able to appeal or do our weekly application. They have supposedly escalated us to a level two multiple times but we still haven t heard back .We also filed for the upa and still didn t get an approval or denial or any information on what the actual issue is . We are told every time that someone will call us and yet no one has ever called us . The only email response we have gotten is automated. They need to seriously get more organized .
I filed 6 weeks ago. Called in twice and provided everything asked. Every time I call it says they aren t bothering to answer the phones anymore. I hear going into okc works for some but I can t find anything on setting up an appointment. What am I supposed to do just live in my car in their parking lot hoping they will eventually get around to seeing me?
You can t get ahold of anyone by phone. The system hangs up on you. On Sunday I filed my weekly claim and now the system says my unemployment is pending and under review but don t stop filing weekly claims. I don t know what I need to do to resolve this issue and nor will anyone help! Anyone have any ideas? I m growing desperate.
Same story as everyone else received 2 payments then they stopped then it said it deposited money on the card but the balance was zero then I find out they charge you to check your balance like everytime I think this is the biggest case of embezzlement from the state ever
Do not care for your problems just tell you that you are on a waiting list just to not call u back! I recommend using a state representative to get a hold of someone soon as Kendra Horn was involved I got my money a week later!

Been trying to file for unemployment for over a month now. I called maybe 7 times and always get the same response back. Some level 2 manger should call me back, but a month later. Nothing has happen. And when I called today it won t let be talk to anyone.
Filed in April... Was told I was put at 'critical' in April. They closed my claim and never contacted me. I called as often as able, weekly. They told me it was 'resolved', even though I never got my money or any contact. Still trying to get my unemployment money, and I have gotten NOTHING. I can't even get ahold of anyone now. And the people I've talked to just tell me to wait. I've been waiting for almost 6 months now!

Filed late April and haven't received funds because I'm waiting on a call from a so called level 2 and I have been calling and I can't get through to speak with anyone
I sent an email. I ve been down to the unemployment office. I still haven t spoken with a live person and was turned away each day at the unemployment office. I was told to call but when I did...I got a busy signal or hung up on. Wait time always 45 minutes before they hang up. The automated recording is cold and the people in the office could care less as long as they are getting paid. I ve filled out applications, went to job interviews and started looking for self employment. I can t change my address since I moved. I have to speak with a live person and calling all the numbers they gave me leads to automated messages. Whoever is over unemployment, you are not doing a very great job and need better people under your tenure. With as many people that are unemployed, you would think the unemployment office would hire these people to handle the phones. It doesn t matter to them if my daughter (who will be born in 20 days) will have a home to come to because people in charge of the Unemployment can t do their job to the best of their abilities.
Apparently a global pandemic is not a good enough reason to not go back to work in a crowded bar. Absolute failure. Do not wait on this broken system to help you. They don't care about you.

I have experienced several different things, received money then payed out didn't receive it , now nothing this is the second week. When I have called I get the whole level 2 will call you as well as when they don't know anything to just hang up in your face. If they would just say I am not knowledgeable in that area. My date of birth has been wrong since the beginning, and nobody has fixed it at all. I called today but not sure if I will get any help. This is beyond frustrating. I will be going in to the office hopefully someone can help me. I know I am not the only one experiencing issues. Thanks for the info.

Worst experience ever!! They mailed me my card weeks ago allegedly. I never received it. Then spent 3 HOURS ON HOLD! Seriously these ppl get a paycheck so they dont care whether you get your money or not. Had i not been staying with family they would have gotten me EVICTED. As of now im just unable to give My daughter anything for her birthday, OR pay any of my bills, OR pay for anything to help out the people im living with. But its fine right? What do they care. THIS IS WHY SO MANY OKLAHOMANS ARE HOMELESS!!!
Received unemployment payment for 7 weeks. All of a sudden they stop and claim is pending again. No one will answer and their virtual agent is unavailable. Absolutely nothing I can do about this. The state doesn't care about us and their mismanagement proves this.
The system will not recognize my pin & when I try to reset it the system asks 3 random questions I do not know the answer to. I need to file my PUA Claim as I was paid as independent contraCtor and now I don t have a job. A direct result of COVID-19. The July 31st deadline is rapidly approaching & when I do actually get them on the phone all they can say is I will have to wait on a tech to call me. They do not seem to be concerned that the deadline is approaching. IS THE OFFICE AT 2401 N. Lincoln open? They actually told me it could be a month b4 I get a phone call. By then it will be too late!!! I am so frustrated
How do these people get away with being so unprofessional. They have never explained to me why my unemployment stopped nor mailed anything and after waiting close to three hours the rep will mumble their name, speak condescending in the midst of your prayers that they don't hang up and your forced to get lost in the cue another two and a half hours, then you can never reach them in Oklahoma city office they're on the run in hiding all on payroll since they have people standing in the parking lots, saying someone will call you back and then after days of waiting for that they call only to start the poor customer service above process all over again ...amazing i offered to work for them and help for my unemployment it beats stressing and loosing my home and car
No one EVER answers the phone, EVER. Went to the office, not allowed to speak with anyone. Was given an appointment card for two weeks, and told nothing. I don't even know what the problem with the application, because I can't talk to anyone.
Because when I called I had to wait 2 hours too answering the phone after day answer them still didn't help my problem that's why I don't give good reviews they have to earn
Still no help with my claim! I filed in March and it is now May. It isn t my fault the business I worked for has closed due to COVID. Why is the OESC able to leave people without answers for weeks? If it took me this long to do my job, I would have been fired.

Too many lazy and unprofessional individuals on payroll. Very pathetic to have to be on hold for 6hrs on a Monday or Thursday to never get to talk to someone. Emails and new system are a non factor despite the fallacious advertising.
I received a call 3 weeks ago concerning a payment I never got. An agent called to see if I have received my 800 debit card, and I stated no. I never received nothing. She asked where I would like my card mailed, and I gave her an address. She stated I would received the card by the end of May. It is now the end of May. This is the amount from 2019. I have yet to still receive anything. I understand things are hectic, but this is from 2019. I called several times in 2019, no one never helped. Now it's 2020, I am receiving follow ups from 2019 claim that I should have been paid!
Something went wrong with my claim. Now I'm on a few weeks of no pay, and rent is due, electricity is due, and we're out of groceries. I have two small kids, and no assistance either. No food stamps, because according to the state I"make too much unemployment" which right now, is nothing. We have no health Care since i was laid off, because according to the state "I make too much" which right now is NOTHING! I have called several times and each time been told I need a level two "manager" to call back, do those even EXIST??? The 7th time I called, which was today.. The woman told me it would be about 4 weeks.... For A PHONE CALL!! 4 WEEKS!! Mind you, she is the FIRST PERSON I have talked to, that has told me that. One went as far as to tell me 48 hours.... So on top of not helping ANYONE, They're also lying... Thanks so much!
Staff complaining to individuals as they come in. Stating they are limited with helping them due to being understaffed. Complaining about your job to individuals coming in, is highly unprofessional. Upon asking for help getting ok job match log in credentials, I was made to feel as if I was inconveniencing them with petty requests. These are resources for the people of Oklahoma experiencing hardships, and set backs in providing for their families. The least this office could do is offer people resources that are rightfully and readily available to utilize in their transitions, with out the complaint. Reevaluate your job if you don't like it.
I when this place Lincoln wait from 3am to 8am they just say my case faults and give them information ..they just tell me go home wait them call Me back ..And I m been 3week no body call and I email them .. no want help .... very bad service ..sound they don t care ..and they don t do there job at all ..very bad experience service ..
First, it takes 7 weeks and losing everything I have to get my benefits. Then, without any notice or reasoning whatsoever, you decide to close my claim. To make sure you keep your sterling record shining bright as a diamond, you make sure to hang up on me in your ridiculous phone menu. Crack heads and schizophrenics could do a better job with less technology.

Horrible experience with everything associated with the OESC. My wife has been waiting for over ten weeks for an opportunity to talk with someone that can make a difference. Lying is a the new norm with all of the people involved with this pandemic. This is a fraud on the people of Oklahoma!!
Try to call and all you get is someone sitting at home and don't know anything. The state should have been prepared for this and had everyone properly trained. It has been a month and the level two that did help me at the first didn't know what she was doing because she screwed everything up and no unemployment besides one week.
Been waiting since April 1st and still nothing. Everyone of you lazy pukes should be fired and replaced with people that will help the people of this state.

My wife and her partner shut down their business and forfeited months of revenue and quality of life because of the state. We were assured that things would be handled. They have not. This is, at the very least, a shameful process for many. You have made it even worse by not helping, essentially forming everyone into panhandlers. It s disgusting and your agency needs to get yours affairs in order. Start making good on the checks that you wrote. If you don t have the money to pay these good people, at least be truthful about it. Fix this, now.
From the reviews I notice their are so many people that have experience what I'm going thru. I was laid off March 27th because of the virus. It has been two months and 8 days since I applied for unemployment and still I haven't received any funds. My son has been helping me out or I would be up a creek without a paddle. I've called, sent two Certified Letters, spoke to the online VA's who told me that someone would get back with me but no one has. I can not use their online resources because their system locks me out and displays a message to contact OESC.
After sending an email before I started unemployment, a fax when the issue first started, 5 phone calls since the issue started, and going up and waiting 7 HOURS, my unresolved issue is still not resolved after 5 WEEKS. This is one of the worst run places I have ever seen in my life. They have no organization, no regard for people, no will to want to truly help you. They don't care if you are struggling and going to lose everything because of a pandemic and them not being able to resolve issues in a timely manner. Avoid unemployment at whatever cost. Robbing a bank would be easier to deal with than these inconsiderate people. They owe me over $4000 in back pay. If there was a way to talk to the person in charge, I would do it in a heart beat. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Filed a claim over eleven months ago that I'm still getting no response on. These people would rather watch Oklahomans die in the streets than do their job. Utterly reprehensible management, cannot speak to anyone unless you have hours of free time to sit on hold while they try everything they can to get you to give up. I'm fed up and disgusted with the apathy that pours out of this department. I'm a veteran also, starting to wonder if dedication to country only goes one way anymore.
I've been numerous times. When I finally got in I was told there was some kind of fraud. Was told to go home and I would be contacted same day on what the actual problem is and how it can be fixed. No contact, no answers

Do y all just have the phones turned off? I have called 18 times in 2 days and every single time I have called as soon as it s transferring to agent I get automated message that they can t take your call due to high call volumes. That should tell you something shouldn t it? I haven t had an issue until last few weeks not getting paid. Trust me I have been looking for work and continue to do so but how can y all feel good about anything when you re helping no one. Look at the reviews and complaints here,on Twitter, everywhere.

Showed up at 8:30 am . Takes three people to sign you in, then your seated. Then there's these two at the computer desk one enter's your ssn# and call's people to desk and try to assist. The other answers the phone when it rings other than that just sits there. Been here an hour he's answered 4 calls. And back to the front check in, their just sitting talking to each other like they don't have nothing better to do. I see why it takes you forever to get anything done. Now there's someone sitting there taking notes on what the gentleman is entering for claims this is really pathetic if this is how a professional place is being ran!!!
Was approved 4/26 but no card sent, no ability to file weekly claims on the website, wrong paperwork and sent to wrong address, nothing but automated robo answers on the phone and useless virtual chat. Now so much time has passed it says it's inactive because I didn't "continue" my claim even though I had no options to do so online. I have been needing to get ahold of someone for this confusing process, it is becoming desperate.
I was furloughed from my job due to Covid-19 and I have been waiting since the 15th of March for a card as well as, unemployment benefits. Cannot file for weeks because the website always states a system error. I tried calling it in as well and it states that I need to answer additional questions. I try to do so and it won't allow me to do it. I talk to a representative and its a total scripted run around and your case is moved to critical and someone will call you. Just placating and BS. It is a Kafkaesque smoke and mirrors show because I've been waiting for that call to no avail. I'm not understanding why they can't complete the questions via the phone when I speak to a representative?? They can spot fraudulent claims at lightening speed yet they cannot complete claims for people that have been waiting months ? I have a neighbor who filed just weeks ago and have received both card and benefits. I feel have have been beyond patient and I have no other recourse but to join the other folks picketing out at the capital who are left out in the cold as well. Such an inept and disgraceful operation.
These people are an absolute joke, I filed in march and got my approval letter the beginning of April and haven't received a single payment. I've called every single day and the interns they hired to answers phones are completely useless. Stop collecting a paycheck and do your damn jobs.
Due to Republicans running this great state, you have an agency with an outdated computer system, that should have been replaced long ago, that cannot handle the current claims volume. Staff have been depleted, due to lack of action by our Republican Legislature and Governors. Contractor abruptly hired to answer phones do not have the training or knowledge to answer questions. Do not blame the OESC employees. They are doing the best they can with the tools they have been given. Maybe this is by design, since Republicans are against socialism and the OESC is a social services agency. THE MORE YOU KNOW. KNOWLEDGE IS LIBERATING.
I was receiving payments consistently until I wasnt.. I was still getting a confirmation email saying that I filed successfully, however I did not get the money deposited into my account. I searched through my emails trying to see if I had received my max benefit, but no such email has been sent to me. I do not like being left in the dark. Now the pandemic getting worse. Why cant we get good communication down?
Today marks 3 months since I filed and I ve been unable to speak to anyone that could help. Needless to say, this is unacceptable, even during a pandemic. The system has failed us. Again.
Update: I waited for over 9 hours total over the course of 2 days to speak with someone. I eventually got most of it taken care of. But now the back dated pay is 2 months short. Even when I sat and dealt with someone directly that assured me my backpay would be from when the pandemic started. So now I have to go through the entire process all over again just to get the thousands of dollars that the state owes me. Is a shame we work our entire lives and pay taxes for a system that doesn t even have your back when things get tough. This makes me embarrassed to live in such a terribly unorganized system.
