I was just told by an employee here that if I need my money then I should get up and get a job like she did that I ain t special lol I told her I had to file for disability because of a heart condition and she hung up. A lot more was said but y all beware they don t care. They make you stay on hold for 45+ minutes to tell you we are sending this off to the second level and to talk trash to you. This has happened once more today .this is also my third call to them today alone because I keep getting hung up on.

ALSO FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN SENT PRIORITY TO LEVEL TWO, THEY DONT CALL YOU BACK FOR 5+ WEEKS!!!!!

Most unprofessional state agency ever. Can't speak with anyone and having to wait now over 5 weeks for a call back. State keeps changing the application for PUA then they make your weekly claims denied.

Extremely poor. Website is not user friendly and more importantly ... there are two locations in the Oklahoma City service area that have been closed and are still listed in the web site as active.

the location at 12777 North Rockwell has been closed sine 8/26/11
the location at 416 B Hudiburg Circle also had a notice on the front saying it is closed

I know of two who have recently become unemployed Who made the trip to both locations to find them closed

These are folks who lost their jobs have no money and the Oklahoma State Employment Security Commission either does not care or the Commission Is incompetent.

This is an UNCONSCIONABLE insult to those who are unemployed it Oklahoma
and I feel it is an abuse spending by this Commission.

Closed for two years and still listed on the web site (Come on you guys ... let's get real and at least try to serve those who need help and who have earned the right due to at least 18 years of steady employment in one place.

Are you kidding me? I understand that we are experiencing an unemployment crisis but really? I filed for unemployment benefits the last week of March and did not receive my first payment until May...for May. Where is April's payments? Well it gets better: I tried to file my claim for the week ending 5/23 but the link on the 'Official' website will not open so I have not been able to file. So I called for assistance and to my surprise a representative actually answered after only 45 minutes. I gave her my ticket number from the previous time I called (because this has been a nightmare from the beginning) and explained my situation. She told me that my case would be given to personnel in 'Level 2.' And since I had a ticket number, my case would be given priority. Yeah. Right. Oh and btw, someone will call me to correct the situation. Is this for real? Do 'they' honestly think that I buy it? Oh and on top of that I applied for Direct Deposit. Their instructions did not work for me so now I must go to a 'no fee' ATM and withdraw money to deposit into my bank account. Since there is a limit on the amount to withdraw, I must go to ATM 3 times...on different days of course.

I wish I could give a negative ten! We need people in place that understand the severity of what's going on. People are becoming homeless everyday. Why are we still waiting on money that was approved a month ago? These people in Oklahoma don't care. Why is the system out dated in 2020 that it can't provide our money owed to us quickly??? The excuses are out the door at this point. The American citizens of Oklahoma are struggling! Release our money owed to us!! ALL OF IT! We have bills to pay!! Food to buy!!! Family members to provide for!! Every little bit helps!!

It s been very difficult filling for unemployment ...

It s been very difficult filling for unemployment with no one to call that can actually help me. I apparently answered a question wrong on one of my weekly claims and have been waiting on someone to help correct it so I can receive my benefits. I have been waiting a month for a call back and have filled several claims with representatives for Level 2 . I understand it s a pandemic and our state was obviously not prepared, that considered I understand the system is backed up but it is still frustrating.

My daughter made a mistake on her form when she filed for her unemployment for this week, and the system wouldn't allow her to go back. She tired to correct the mistake and explained what happened. Which should be enough but she called Tuesday morning at get help. She was told that a representative was reviewing her claim and would call her back that morning or the following morning which would have been Wednesday but nothing and everytime she has called back they say the same thing some one will return her call. Okay today is Friday and still no one has called. They will not give her any way to make a claimant or speak to someone in charge but I know someone is in charge. They should be ashamed of themselves but ...smh

Absolutely pathetic. It has been 4 months since the pandemic and you still can not reach anyone by phone. I have called around 180 times and it's still.the same. You don't even get the option to wait on hold. It just says no one is available and hangs up. Vote anyone in charge of this out and file complaints.

I have tried to get ahold of someone to find out about my appeal and no one knows anything about it I filed my appeal in early July and still can't find out anything about it no one can find it on their computer I am getting fed up with the government cause the people that work for a living and need help you can't get money from the government and we have to jump through hoops and red tape to get it but you can't get anyone on the phone you sit on hold for 2-3 hours and if you are lucky you will talk to someone and if you are not lucky you get hung up on or sit on hold for hours

Would like to give negative stars. No call backs for weeks and no way to just verify that I submitted all my paperwork correctly. Beyond frustrated with this agency. We lost our jobs at no fault of our own. You should have gotten this figured out by now. Can you at least send an email updating everyone with a time line that you hope to have this sorted out by. Bills don't stop just because there was a pandemic.

THIS HAS HURT MY FAMILY....WE ARE STRUGGLING!!!! I HAVE A HOUSEHOLD OF 6....WHICH 4 ARE CHILDREN!!!! Been waiting three weeks to get to speak to a level 2 person. These level 1 individuals really don't care about anybody. They still get a paycheck so it doesn't matter if people are out here waiting, losing their homes and cars. There's one named Jenny that doesn't even take any information. Just asks your name and says someone will contact you when they can. She doesn't deserve a paycheck if she can't even do her level 1 job!!!!!

Out of work since March and after waiting on hold ...

Out of work since March and after waiting on hold over 45 minutes I only get someone working from home who just tells me to keep waiting and filing weekly. State should have hired and trained for this. Still don't have a card so even if my claim is approved soon I will have to wait for the debit card to be mailed.

Atrocious. Not enough workers to answer the phones...

Atrocious. Not enough workers to answer the phones, and when there are, they routinely take nearly two hours to do so. Poorly informed staff, no feedback to let you know if your claim went through. The website is down, the call volume is too high for my call to go through, and to top it all off, I hear that the site location isn't seeing people.

This is supposed to be a service that I'm paying for with my taxes, but it's a racket.

Waited on the phone for 3 1/2 hours to talk to someone just to be belittled on why I don t have self employed insurance. Was told I could refile on a certain date, I wait it out getting NO MONEY from unemployment. I try to call them so I can have some assistance, wake up early and called before they even open to get put on a wait list. The week prior you could be put on hold and now they re making you listen to their whole spill and then hanging up on you after 5 minutes of auto talking. I ve called 20 times and never talked to a real person today and probably won t.

It has been 14 weeks since filing my claim. How are supposed to survive when they won t let us work and don t respond to the help programs? No answers to calls, set up appointments they don t keep, no payments have been made. It is a complete failure of the unemployed ment system here in Oklahoma.

It's bad when your own customer service say that they have no idea what's going on and why they are still not contacting you on your unemployment if it wasn't for the help of others I would not know what to do right now.

I've spent hours on the phone trying to get my issue resolved. I went to file a claim and somebody is using my SS #. I can't even log in as they've created a pin number as well. I've called the fraud dept, and spent hours on hold trying to get somewhere...it's a dark rabbit hole and something is very wrong with the system.
I am unemployed and looking for work so I would gladly come down there and work to help you get this disaster organized.

They removed my last bad review. But I have been calling since the beginning of the pandemic. They keep telling me the same thing over and over. My case has been escalated. How many times can they escalate? I just keep calling even it doesn't do again thing I recommend you do the same.

It s been 14 (3.5 month) weeks since I have filed, with no call back from a level 2 for help. I call at least twice a week for any update. The system won't let me file for any weeks other than the first initial one, which I have not been paid for. The location closest to me does not have a person to answer to make an appointment. I understand there is an issue of being understaffed, but this system has failed and people are losing everything.

I don't know how these people keep their jobs, if you are back logged for 6-8 months that means you are not doing your job correctly. The state needs to fire every single one of these lazy people and hire some of these unemployed people. I bet you start laying off people and things start getting done!
