I'm not sure what happened while my girl was attending this facility, but her personality changed. My dog is at another daycare now and hasn't had one single incident since being there (almost a year now).
I do wish the owner and "most" of the staff well, and hope that other staff take the initiative to get some training or perhaps are no longer working with dogs.

I had glowing recommendations to take my dogs here. So in June I booked them online, which was confirmed. I even received notification emails to remind me of my upcoming appointment. However, when I went to their shop for my scheduled apppappoint no one was there. As I found out from the shop owner beside off the leash, they were at a convention and were not in town. I had taken time out of my day to bring my dogs, only to be disappointed. I sent multiple emails about this issue and no one replied to me. Finally, a few weeks ago, I dropped by and discussed the situation with the staff. They were extremely uncaring about the situation and made me to feel like I was an inconvenience. They took down and name and number to look in to it and I STILL have had no reply. Needless to say, my dogs will never go there, and my mothers dog (who is a long time client) will no longer be going there. This all could have been avoided by a simple, sincere apology. It is very upsetting to be treated this way.

I have had my puppy to Off the Leash twice and both times I have been very satisfied. The staff have been amazing, friendly and professional. My puppy has been well taken care of and happy both times he has come home. I highly recommend Kayla and the gang at Off the Leash!!!

You know when you say "Walk" to your dog, and they go nuts? If you say "Daycare" in front of my dog, he goes insane! He LOVES going to daycare, and Kayla grooms him once a month and he always looks/feels/smells amazing afterwards. Such an amazing, animal loving staff!!

Great customer service. 1/2 of my dogs is very timid and Kayla works her magic when grooming her. I highly recommend this place to everyone. All staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. :)

My senior has always been a pain to groom! So I always did her myself, to hesitant to take her anywhere due to the horror stories about senior dogs and groomers. But I finally bit the bullet and took her in. And off the leash has been by far the best. Melody treats her so well and is so patient with her no matter her attitude! I highly recommend melody at off the leash!

We take our dog here 3 x a week and love it! Prices are reasonable for day care, the dogs are taken good care of, and sometimes they will throw in a free bath if you're lucky! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a daycare for their dog.

The owner and staff treat each pet with as much love as if they are their own. Our lab comes home happy from playing, smelling good and soo soft. I have recommended OTL to all friends and coworkers with pets and everyone has absolutely loved them!

From a friend: They took my post down whenever I put it on google or Facebook but I ll put it here for people to read. I LOVE dogs so when I was offered a job here I thought it would be my dream job. I hadn t been so excited for something in a very long time. After one shift I went home and cried my eyes out and said I wouldn t be coming back. I was too afraid to be upfront about why I would never be returning but it s been eating me up ever since and I feel like people have a right to know.
-The area is not very big for the dogs and I was quite taken back by it.
- Small dogs and big dogs are not separated. Little yorkies in with large dogs one of which I was warned is a fighter
- Not a single dog went outside all day. If they have to go to the bathroom they go on the floor. By the time you can get something to clean it up with lots of dogs have stepped through it and are jumping on each other and wrestling on the ground. It s very disgusting. By the time your dog goes home it s covered in pee. And that is the honest truth. Their feet aren t sticky from sweat. It s pee.
- There is also no outdoor area. A lot of people have asked me about it and I don t know why because it s non existent. Everything is completely indoors. The far back room has a garage door that was open with a big kennel in front of it so no one could run away. The back of the building is the alley.
- The dogs had no toys, no beds or anything to lay on besides the pee floor, there were dogs that didn t get any water. Apparently there are a lot of dog fights that happen here and I can see why. There was even a couple while I was there. I was also given zero training in how to deal with a dog fight and the subject was treated very lightly.
- There are not cameras in every room. The daycare is split into two rooms and there is no windows or cameras to look at in either room. With ONE person trying to look after 25+ dogs it s literally impossible to know what s going on. If you re in one room and something happens in the next one you wouldn t know or would get there late. The supervision is very low.
- Dogs that love to fight do attend daycare here. One stayed in a pen all day (for $30 he could have done that at home) another one was tied to the wall on a very short cable (maybe about 20ish inches if I had to guess) from about lunch time on. Both with no water.
- If you bring your dogs something to eat for the day it s put in a cupboard and said to be donated. We are told to tell you they did eat it if you ask.
- Finally at 3:45 all dogs get taken to the very back room past the daycare room. There are metal hooks all along the wall accompanied by a short tie up cable. Everyone gets hooked to one so we can mop the floors. We use the same mop we ve been sopping up pee with all day just with some new water and pinesol. It s done very quickly. They don t want the floor getting all dirty again after mopping so the dogs stay where they are until you pick them up.

Knowing information like this has been eating me alive for the past two weeks. I was very scared to speak up about it. But your dog can t tell you how their day was so someone should. Someone who has nothing to hide hides nothing. So as a customer and pet owner you should be allowed to pop in and see where your dog is and what they re doing at all times. If you re ever told no you can t go back there or can t go see where they are right now, something is wrong. That s a red flag. The things I saw are completely honest and I know I ll probably receive backlash from saying it. It s not hear say or a rumour. I got to see first hand how things are done here. I wish I had great things to say and that I was still working there now but unfortunately that was just not the case. It feels good to get off my chest finally and I can now move forward.

I've been taking my two dogs to daycare almost every week for the past year and a half, as well as getting the occasional grooming and nail trimming.

The staff is very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. They ask how the dogs are doing in the morning, discuss how things went at the end of the day, and are happy to chat about all things dog. They also do a great job with social media by sharing glimpses into the daily happenings.

I always have a great experience at Off the Leash, my dogs get super excited to go each time and the best part is they are always tired after playing all day!

Keep up the good work Kayla and co.

I am in awe of the patient staff at Off the Leash. My 9 year old dog is quite anxious about being groomed, but she came out of there looking the spiffiest she's been in years. I could tell the staff really cared not only about the quality of their services but also so much about my dog. They even stopped blow drying her when she became overwhelmed because they care about the wellbeing of your pet and creating a paw-sitive grooming experience (she was still plenty dry enough to take home). Overall I was very impressed with how they treated my dog and I. We will definitely be returning here in the future. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who struggles to give their pup a bath at home.

Worst grooming job ever! including the ones I did myself. They obviously have no idea what they are doing. I took my 5 dogs in there yesterday and they came out absolutely hacked. it is going to take 8 - 12 months to grow out the damage they did in a couple of hours. The cuts were uneven, poorly done and they don't appear to have any knowledge about how to groom poodles and shi tzu dogs. I have taken my dogs to other groomers in the past and never had the issues that I had with this groomer. STAY AWAY

We have always recommended this place to friends and family with pets. Unfortunately, I've come across some very disturbing news about the conditions that dogs are exposed to. The dogs are not given water during their stay (which can sometimes be from 7am to 6pm), the big dogs and little dogs are not separated despite the owner telling everyone that they are separated (I am extremely uncomfortable with this and trusted that my dogs were separated from the big ones), the dogs are apparently hardly supervised at all, they are confined to a small concrete pad where most of them pee and poo everywhere, only to run around in their own pee and poo for their entire stay as none of the employees care to clean up the mess. Your freshly groomed dog is also running around in this mess and then coming to your home and spreading dog pee and feces all over your house. This is not something you want to hear about a place that you entrusted the care of your dog(s) to and we unfortunately will not be going back.

It is basic knowledge and care that a dog is to have access to water and a clean place to stay. The thought that customers are paying for their pets to be treated this way and exposed to this facility is horrifying and I am sharing this review so that something unfortunate does not happen to someone else's pet. Our dogs seem very scared to go there as on our last visit we had to drag them through the door, which is very unusual for them. The environment is clearly very stressful for them and we can see why now.

I ve been taking my dog to daycare 3 times a week for almost two years now. It s become like a second home for him and the girls treat him like family. I can t say enough good things about Kayla and Casey and the rest of the team at Off the Leash!!! Keep up the great work guys, were lucky to have you!

We take our Golden Retriever here bi-weekly. He stays and plays at doggie daycare all day and is groomed and ready to head home once we get off work. They are absolutely phenomenal. We wouldn't take our pup anywhere else.

Kayla and her staff are incredible at what they do!! Not only do they make mine and my families pets look amazing after every single groom, but our pets are actually excited to get groomed there - unlike other places where they have crazy anxiety over the entire experience! Thanks Kayla for bringing an amazing experience for both pets and owners to Regina

I have a shy little guy who usually has a hard time with grooming (espically nails as groomers have sent him back to me not having been able to do them) and he did amazing! Would highly recommend. It feels like the staff loves your dog to.

Took our pup for her first spaw day, she was unsure at first. When I went to get her she was so happy, tail wagging, cute little flower on her collar and smelt great! The staff were so good with her, nice to see that they enjoy their jobs!

We have been taking all of our pets (2 cats and a dog) to Off The Leash since they opened and we have had nothing but amazing service since day one! I highly recommend their de-shed grooming add-on and their doggie day care!

My mom's dog Hudson and my pup Molly went in today for a spa day and came out looking fresh and adorable! Having the dogs socialize is fantastic and I would even take my pup for daycare. They did a lovely job trimming up my Longlhaired Dachshunds coat. The full cut on Hudson the Bichon Frise Shih Tzu cross looked so sharp and he was an absolute perfect fluff ball. These folks really care about your pets and are very reassuring for a first time, it was Molly's first ever grooming and I was a like a mom seeing off her baby for the first day of school.

After a groom, our fur baby had an incredibly bad irritation, wouldn't eat, and was extremely sore. Now, a week later, we have vet bills, medications and he is still in extreme discomfort. It was a terrible experience, and I anticipate another trip to the vet. I am extremely disappointed.

I'm not sure where to start in expressing my sincere gratitude to the caring staff and owner of this establishment. I arrived in the city of Regina desperate to find grooming services for a large dog I was adopting. This sweet dog had been in isolation and unfortunate neglect for many months while their owner was in palliative care. The ladies at the salon not only welcomed us with open arms but they offered day care services so I could spend quality time with the ill relative. I truly do not know what I would have done without their graciousness and kindness. You can tell these ladies love what they do and they value their furry clients like one of their own. My adopted pup had the best day ever today and I in turn was relieved to know she was getting the upmost care while I spent the day with my loved one. By the way... my dog Lola looks incredible... and I know exactly who to thank for that..... painted green nails and all.

Sister recommended off the leash for our dog. They did not disappoint! Kayla was awesome. She was so friendly and welcoming. I was a bit nervous given this was the first time I ve taken my dog to a groomers/left her alone for 2 hours. My dog was in great care. Her fur is very clean and shiny, she smells good and looks good. I couldn t be happier! Will defiantly be recommending to others! Thank you again!

Our dog was a mess with burrs in his long fur. I had spent hours trying to get him brushed out, with no success. The crew at the Off the Leash Pet Grooming cleaned him up beautifully in a short amount of time! Clean, friendly and professional, thank you!!

Brought my dog in for nail cutting and they were excellent with him. The staff were super nice and patient with my dog. My groomer has had problems with cup cutting his nails because he freaks out on her. Will definitely go back there this time for an actual grooming. Thank you so much for the nail cutting on Bailey.

OTL is amazing!! My dog (Charlie) goes to them twice a week for daycare and she absolutely loves it!! I also take her there for regular grooming and she always comes out looking beautiful. The owner and staff are awesome and really know their stuff. If you are looking for a great experience whether it is for daycare or grooming I highly recommend contacting OTL. Oh and they also have super cute attire for dogs and humans. - Stephanie & Charlie

This grooming business has gained a returning customer today! My cat came home from her lion cut (in only an hour and a half time from drop off) very pleased and looking fresh as hell. She was even purring and wanted to snuggle. In the past with another groomer she wouldn t even look at me for several days. Excellent job ladies.

This is the only place I will take our doodle & I'll always travel the hours to go here. My pup is fairly nervous in different places, Kayla & the girls don't skip a beat in making her feel comfortable & like one of their own... her tail doesn't stop wagging as soon as we walk in the door! I come back to a happy, confident puppy every single time and I wouldn't change it for a thing! The other day at the vet, I got multiple compliments on how beautiful her groom was - they were pleasantly surprised when I told them it was 3 weeks ago & had withstood daycare & the dog park!! Harley & I will be forever customers and I'll recommend this place every chance I get.

There s a reason OTL is the best in town! Kayla & her crew are passionate and professional, and are always looking for ways to go above and beyond for their clients. Their facility is extremely clean and a lot of work goes into making the shop as inviting as it is. I wouldn t take my dogs anywhere else!

My pup Sammy goes to Kaycare once a week, as soon as he sees we're at Off the Leash, the whining begins, he can hardly wait to get out of the car. Miss Melody absolutely loves him & the feeling is reciprocated. He is treated like family, I cannot say enough good things about the ladies, they are very helpful, the facility is clean, all the pups obviously love it there. Keep up the great work, I feel so lucky to have you looking after my boy!

This has been my go-to groomer in Regina. The hours and the fact that it's a day care as well make it easy to coordinate a time that works for everyone. I tried another place when OTL was closed at the beginning of COVID but our dog did not seem happy there. We recently had him in for a winter grooming (not something we normally do) and weren't totally happy with the results. It's hard to properly convey what you want sometimes when dealing with a dog grooming. Melody was fantastic to deal with and very receptive to our concerns. She got him right back in and made everything right.

I m Very satisfied with Off the Leash Inc. The groomers are extremely friendly and handle my little fur babies with care, love and passion. My dog Mieska is 15 and gets very anxious at the groomers but always comes out looking her best with a smile on her face, they handled her with extraordinary care, patience, and love. They also groom my two cats, one being a long hair Siberian forest cat who s hair gets frequently matted up, and the other one is supper aggressive, but they always come back healthy, happy and with an adorable tie or bow. Hands down this is the best groomer in Regina! :)

Literally cannot say enough good things about this...

Literally cannot say enough good things about this shop. We have a friendly but nervous (and very, VERY strong) pit bull who has some kind of horrendous feet-related trauma from before we got her. It took years of daily training for us to be able to handle her paws at all, and even though we ve been careful to associate nail clippers with loads of praise and treats, she still panics every time they come out.

We recently had an incident where I cut the tip of my finger off with the clippers while trying to trim her, so of course that made her dislike them even more, and we ve been unable to clip any nails for about a month. They were getting too long for comfort and we were at a loss, so we decided to try Off the Leash as a last resort before having to sedate her.

And y all, I am AMAZED. OTL got her back feet in the first visit, then had us come back the next day so a groomer who s an expert at handling strong dogs could do the front. Our dog had a complete meltdown both times, but both groomers handled her so kindly, and as soon as she got off the table, she was all tail wags and kisses. We have a third appointment next week to finish off the last couple nails and OTL refused to charge us for either of the first two appointments since "the job wasn't finished," which is frankly ridiculous.

We really thought we would have to resort to sedating, but OTL has completely changed things. If you have a difficult or fearful dog, this is the place to go. They'll get it done.

EDIT: Went back for our third appointment. Our dog was up on the table and done in five minutes, every single nail dremelled perfectly short. She even sat while being trimmed!!! I have witnessed a genuine miracle today.
