Don't bother contacting this department. They do not reply.
The Customer Charter contains a number of fallacies.
"No matter how you contact us, we will deal with your query promptly and efficiently"
How about the truth which is that they will not respond at all.
"We aim to give you a full reply within 10 working days. If we cannot do this, we will email you to explain why and tell you when you can expect a full reply"
Also a lie
Not a word of a reply or any explanation after any length of time.
The problem is that ministers do not want to get involved in the affairs of the Irish public or to help them but they have to create this facade that they do so you will elect them with their false promises.
The reality is that they couldn't care less about such issues as Facebook abuse or homelessness.
