Literally cannot say enough good things about this...

Literally cannot say enough good things about this shop. We have a friendly but nervous (and very, VERY strong) pit bull who has some kind of horrendous feet-related trauma from before we got her. It took years of daily training for us to be able to handle her paws at all, and even though we ve been careful to associate nail clippers with loads of praise and treats, she still panics every time they come out.

We recently had an incident where I cut the tip of my finger off with the clippers while trying to trim her, so of course that made her dislike them even more, and we ve been unable to clip any nails for about a month. They were getting too long for comfort and we were at a loss, so we decided to try Off the Leash as a last resort before having to sedate her.

And y all, I am AMAZED. OTL got her back feet in the first visit, then had us come back the next day so a groomer who s an expert at handling strong dogs could do the front. Our dog had a complete meltdown both times, but both groomers handled her so kindly, and as soon as she got off the table, she was all tail wags and kisses. We have a third appointment next week to finish off the last couple nails and OTL refused to charge us for either of the first two appointments since "the job wasn't finished," which is frankly ridiculous.

We really thought we would have to resort to sedating, but OTL has completely changed things. If you have a difficult or fearful dog, this is the place to go. They'll get it done.

EDIT: Went back for our third appointment. Our dog was up on the table and done in five minutes, every single nail dremelled perfectly short. She even sat while being trimmed!!! I have witnessed a genuine miracle today.
