We stayed 2 nights and giving only 3 stars because it was overbooked. The facilities are good, but with so many people using them it felt chaotic. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place, maybe bit expensive.

A campsite beautifully located on the lake with super friendly staff. Unfortunately, its incredibly dirty sanitary facilities trump the stay.
Unsustainable for the comparatively expensive price.
Really a shame, but fortunately too easy to fix.

If you don't mind being so close to each other it looks like you're on the ferry. If you don't mind standing in line for the toilet. If you also do not mind standing in line for washing dishes and if you do not mind it to stand in line for a cold shower for 2 euros then this is the site where you want to be.
What a disappointing campsite .. so quickly ...

Bad places as they are small and completely under water. Showers are not all functional and therefore long lines. More expensive than the much nicer and more modern campsite in the north of Odda (300nok - 2 p + tent).

Good location, but the male receptionist was very impatient, rude and unwelcoming. Would have stayed there if not for the hostile encounter with the staff. Stayed at another campsite nearby instead, which was even better. Never coming back!

Cozy and relaxed campsite on a glacier lake. Camping meets all requirements, but when it gets busy it is a bit too cozy. No space on electricity posts. Sometimes drive at the WCs and showers (20 kr = 5 min). Not cleaned often enough during the crowds. Fortunately, you will visit this campsite especially if you are going to climb the glacier and you will therefore not be affected.

We went there and rented a place to place a tent and hammock for 2 nights. The shower was not included and cost 20kr (2euro), and you need 20kr coins. This gives you 5 minutes of hot water, except the water you get is still too cold.

The wifi did not work.

The kitchen was adequate, and kitchen utensils could be borrowed within opening hours, if you cleaned them after use.

It was very loud. Not only was the (of horror) kitchen far too small for the number of guests, it was neglected and extremely dated. The shower was ok, but too expensive for a few minutes of warm water at 20 crowns. You could order warm rolls early, which were way too hard and almost burnt. The view was good, but that's true of most campsites in Norway. So nothing special. We were glad we only stayed one night.

The only good thing about the place is the view of the lake. The place is too expensive for what he offers. Showering in a small old cabin costs 20 NOK. As previously described, you pay in a small dirty kitchen for hot water to rinse 10 NOK. Unfortunately, there are no alternatives in this region.

Relaxing place with well equipped cottage. We came here in wrong season so couldn't go to the Tongue, what a pity! The location is just for visiting the Tongue, nothing surrounding.
But it was a nice stop to have a rest, after several days of tiring road trip

We where. It able to get a spot with wery small tents. The service was not fantastic and we felt a little that they wanted people to stop coming.

Some people told us that from Thursday to Sunday all the camping spots are packed with people in the hiking areas.

All in all a bummer experience but just the attitude can be blamed on Odds camping.

We stayed here two nights and we got a nice apartment of recent date. Short distance to Odda center and to Buarbreen. The service didn't say much when we arrived, but we got paid for our stay and got the apartment key.

Draws a star as there were no places to hang clothes and towels. This makes it very messy when one is five in turn.
Draws a star to ensure that there is no dishwasher there, which I meter is a must in the apartments even though there is a camping site.
We had to wash everything we used before we used this, as it was grease / not clean. The sign that it was not washed in warm enough water. Slightly small capacity of water heater somewhat, and it took a long time to preserve the water.
All in all, a nice campsite, but feel that the price we paid was not exactly in line with the item we got delivered.

Slightly odd opening hours at reception, but answers to get on the phone. Nice location. Quiet area. Window facing common area, with noise and smoking. Fridge outside room. Bad mattresses. Good price. Offer of freshly baked bread.

No service. No hot water in the kitchen. Not vessel liquid as well. No lock in the shower. External to the shower money thrower. Cold in toilets. Innondation in the shower. Expensive and no service.

Was ok to hike on the Trolltunga, nothing more, in 3 weeks the worst campsite
on the tour, quite crowded, very muddy (due to the rain)

But the sanitary facilities (men and women shower are not separate) are really not good, as it should be cleaned more often despite the overcrowded space! I'm not very petty about that, but that doesn't work.

Front desk always tried hard, that must be kept too good.

Unfortunately, price performance does not match.

250 n for a tent and 20 n per shower whereas it is 10 n everywhere else.
If you can prefer wild camping near the start of trolltunga ..

Experienced very chaotic. Lots of people, close between people cars and tents, cold water in the shower you paid 20 kroner for. Very worn in the main building. Nice staff, but unfortunately does not outweigh the price and standard.

Way to many people for the size of the camping. The toilets are discusting, there's no toilet paper and the locks don't work properly. They ask 20 NOR for a shower of 5 minutes (most expensive i've ever had) but the showers are also verry dirty and not practical at all. Hiring somebody to clean costs a bit, but it is needed.

A OKish camping spot near the water.

A OKish camping spot near the water.
Facilities are OK at best. You have to pay for hot water but most of the time it doesn't work.
There are far too few bathrooms and showers for the huge amount of guests they allow to camp resulting in hour wait time to take a ice cold shower. Not to mention how dirty the showers and toilets are. Camping is also very crowed and noisy. Staff not really friendly, seems like their only concern is to have as much people on the camping as possible. Would not recommend this site.

We were only using the shower (20k for 5min is some rip-off ...) but we already saw that the camping is small, it was difficult to park and then leave. Service very nice, greetings to a boy who speaks Polish :) A big plus that camping is practically in the city and anywhere close

But it is way too full
Everyone can find their own place
Sanitary facilities are also not designed for this

We spent two nights in the camp. Compared to other campsites, luxuriously equipped - kitchen with utensils, kettle, oven, cooker, shoe dryer, refrigerator. Just everything you can think of, beautiful surroundings and peace. We spent two nights in a tent in the camp. The camp is a bit smaller, the showers are charged for about 5 minutes, but they can be stopped, soaked and let go again. Book stay in budget room. Received confirmation by email and info that the key was in the key box at the reception outside opening hours in low season. Fair enough. Paid for stay 750nok. Arrive at the place at 16.00 to find a closed door. They claimed it was low season in July !!! This is where the bells started ringing! Key was in key box with code. Got code and key. The room looked good right away, but the mattress was completely down. Felt every table through the mattress. Complained about this when the reception opened at 17.00, but to no avail. Did not seem like the English speaking staff understood the problem. Bell two rings. Without alternative (in high season !!!!) one had to settle for what was. When we were cooking in a communal kitchen, two out of five ovens worked !!! With message about "sorry" from the staff .. !!! Waited an hour for free oven. After a hard night on a thin mattress, we had to check out and received only one "Bye" in response to the key handed in. We left at 09.00 in the morning ... Wanted to leave ....

Not worth spending a single minute at Odda camping !!!!

Way too crowded. They overbook the place and the services like kitchen and bathrooms are always full. If it rains it lacks of covered space. And the expensive price is the icing on the cake

To much guest for this little campsite, but really beautiful place. This is the place to camp if u plan to go to the 10h hike to trolltunga. Odda is short way from 30min to the next shop and atm, but a hard uphill. Buses to the trolltunga come and goes in front of the campsite. Sanitary is clean but to less for that hugh mass of campers. The power connectors are to less, but if there are.

There are too few sanitary facilities for the size of the place and these are very poorly maintained. Often there was no toilet paper, no soap and in total only six toilets are available for the whole place. In high season, the campsite is extremely crowded, tents are less than a meter away and the ground is very bad in many places. The staff seem overwhelmed and are not very friendly. There is a very full communal fridge and cooking facilities. Only two sinks for the whole place, so you may have to queue for a long time. Often it is still loud until late in the evening and most of the pitches you can hear the main street. OK for one night as there is a direct shuttle service to the Trolltunga car park and the place is ideal as a base for the hike to the Buerbreen Glacier. In the adjacent lake you can swim.

The tents are located close to the traffic routes. The pitch for the tents is okay compared to the lofoten. The campsite has showers and mixed toilets, as well as sheltered picnic tables.
The reception of customers seems good to me, with a smile!

Camping is OK but way overpriced (590 nok for a 2-bed room on weekdays and 690 nok on weekend).
Pros: there's a heater in the room, hot water at the bathroom and toilet sinks, small kitchen (with kettle, microwave, stove, pots, dishes, cutlery), clean showers and toilets, laundry drier. Friendly staff and flexible check-in hours.
Cons: bed was not very comfortable, no bed sheets (just pillow and blanket), we had to clean the floor afterwards, 20 nok for 5 mins hot water in the showers and 10 nok for 1 min hot water at the kitchen sink (while the kettle is right next to it - haha).
Getting to Trolltunga track starting point still requires a bus/car ride.

you can not get benefit staying there for cheap price

We did not stay here. Tried coming for tent camping, it is super crowded, not at all the experience i imagine people camping with tents look for in Norway. I d recommend limiting the number of campers and assigning a space / spot for each tent.

A great place to relax after acquiring the Trola language, and a good spot for the next conquests of Norway. A fridge and many other attractions are within easy reach. As for the Camping itself - well-stocked, friendly service, all for 5+.

Very decent campsite. Traveled a large group of 3 apartments. Good things. Good kitchen and bathroom. Recommended. Nice service. Located centrally in relation to Odda and a 20 minute drive to Trolltunga

Rented 5-person cottage in the winter holiday. The cabin is fairly new (2014?) And keeps nice cab standard. Relatively clean, well-functioning bathroom with shower, mini kitchen with 2 plates, fridge and freezer. Not a dishwasher, but according to owner comes soon. New TV with DVD player and Canal Digital. Canal Digital did not work, but the TV worked fine for brought DVD . The internet worked fine the first day, powerful enough to stream Netflix. The net went down the day after and in a weekend. They are building new cabins (finished May '18) so both net and Canal Digital are a bit temporarily put up, so expect that the same is on care when rebuilding is finished. Bunk bed lacked horse / ratchet, so the smallest children had to sleep nicely. Totally decent beds otherwise, foam mattress that was in good condition. All in all, a pleasant stay, will gladly return.

Nice location on one side a lake on the other a street on which it gets very quiet in the evening.
The campsite itself is nothing special. A kitchen with a sink is available, but you have to pay for hot water.
The showers are okay, relatively clean but not enough. The toilets are ok but too dark. The WLAN should cover the entire space, but it doesn't and is comparatively slow.
As a starting point for a Trolltunga hike, that's ok, but that's about it.

Closest campsite to Trolltunga, Bondhus and Odda town center. Not enough space to set up tents, hot water for washing dishes, mixed showers, not very hot water. But nice view of the lake if there is room. Reasonable price.

Very small crowded place. Nevertheless, caravans are still let in late in the evening to look for places that have been clearly occupied for hours.
Those who only arrive with a tent can, however, also get a great place directly on the glacier lake and have a great view. Or just land between the mobile homes.
Sanitary facilities in impossible condition. Men and women sometimes mixed and very dirty. Long waiting times for the kitchen. There is a shuttle bus to Trolltunga. No playground.

It is very full here, therefore messy. Toilets and showers do not meet the price what you have to pay for 1 night. Kitchen is not calculated on the number of guests. It's your turn after waiting a while, the water is cold. Not worth ANWB!

The tent here with dog. Expensive campsite, even had to pay for 1 min of hot water to the dishes, where the water leaked out of the sink. To shower we had to pay NOK 20 for 5 min. Struggled to find a place for the tent that was not muddy and wet. There were also many brown snails here.
