Ocean Breeze Waterpark Review

Clean and organized . Too bad the parents think the poor lifeguards are babysitters.

This place was awesome. We had a great time on all the slides. Wait times were slim to nonexistent. Food prices are reasonable and what you expect from an amusement park. We ate pizza $3.99 a slice, funnel cake $7.00, and we bought a refillable soda cup to share refills were free all day and the cup cost 12.99. The park was clean and well maintained. Staff were nice and lifegaurds were attentive and polite.

I haven't been in since 2019 before Coronavirus, but I had great experiences there. Great rides, very friendly, and the it's not usually way too crowded so we can get a good seat most of the time. It's also a relatively small park so it's easy to get around. So, great park, don't usually eat the food there, and very family friendly with good kids areas.

Always a joy to come here. Been going since I was little. Not much has changed but that aint a bad thing. There is something for everyone to do here for all ages.

Fun place to go with the family. Tickets are a little pricey but overall you can have fun with the kids. Free parking is a plus.

I have bought season pass many times its super fun for the family but the food is expensive and not great they also reduced regular seating in leau of adding cabanas they probably make more money but it kinda sux trying to find a seat now

I'm a 2 year pass holder, and I spend a lot of money at this waterpark. Well; recently they sold me faulty water shoes that were worn on the day of purchase, and today when putting them on they split at the seams. They will not honor a discount, offer another solution, or honor a trade off. Some ordaisity to simply say sorry but it's been a week and they were worn. As a customer I feel taken advantage of. I will Not purchase another 5 season passes next year. Nor, will I continue to spend my hard earned money with an unethical company!!!

We had a blast. The kids really enjoyed themselves Some of the best water slides I've been on. HOLD ON TO YOUR TUBE!! lol

Nice water park and a bit leas expensive than the other choice in the area.

Really fun but has a lot of stone areas so I recommend some water shoes or something.

I especially like the one that drops into the water place is so crazy and so fun

Not worth the price and the rain check policy is horrible. Concession prices are outrageous

This is a pretty neat little water park if you are expecting a six flags you are going to be disappointed. But for your neighborhood waterpark is super good. They have several fun slides both body and tube, it is great for families or work groups, my only disappointment was the price to rent a locker.

Bring lots of sun block and a water bottle to refill from their water fountains. Wave pool, lazy river and purple slide we re perfect for my 3 year old daughter. Life vests provided.

Going there over and over again it's the same type of entertainment for kids and family.

I like this place, and that's saying something (especially since I'm not a fan of waterparks, really). It's much better and more fun that Water Country USA, if you ask me. The staff is friendly and helpful, there's a lot to do, plenty to eat and, the best part, the rides are FUN!! Even after my wife and I rode just about every attraction in the park, we still kept going back to a few of them about 5+ times. THAT'S how you know you have fun rides, folks. So, whenever the weather warms up a bit, take your family, or just yourself, and go check it out!

This place was awesome! Brought my 3.5 year old and he had a blast. Clean, easily accessible lockers. Decent lunch options with reasonable prices. Will come again!

Water water everywhere! Plenty to keep the kids busy. Can bring your own water to drink. They have sunscreen you can use if you forget yours.

Me and my family went there we rented a Cabana the one we rented wasn't good at all the TV didn't work my wife wasn't pleased at all the Cabana wasn't clean and also they ran out of certain food items early during the day, but they moved me and my family to another Cabana and they were doing everything to please us and to make us happy for the rest of our visit, this statement is to the management of ocean breeze just remember to have enough supply for the demand of food or other items and make sure all your Cabanas are clean and all the TV'S work properly, otherwise I had a great time so I gave you guys a 4-star rating

Cool, definitely get the season pass for the family as soon as they come available. They are usually sold at the mall in Chesapeake. You can go during the week and I would definitely recommend the morning time. Tons of events for kids of all ages in the evenings during the summer

Great place, water is nice, the rides are fun and the kids loved it. You also get a constant air show from the fighter jets taking off and landing from the Oceana Naval Air Station (very very loud)

Grandkids n I had a wonderful time. Park is not overly sized and it was easy for me to move around with my walker.

We came up from NY to visit family and spent the day. It was relaxing and exciting. There were plenty of thing to do for all ages. The only thing I wished for was more shaded areas. Staff was friendly and the park was very clean.

I had a wonderful experience at Ocean Breeze and would highly recommend visiting the park..they have a tram to bring you to the front entrance..friendly staff..great lifeguards..and the food was very tasty...if you haven't done so a season pass is worth it

must do in va beach, compares to water country, but think that seaworld should buy the park

We rented a cabana for my husbands birthday. Let me just say how disappointed I am. We paid for celebration package. We arrived at 10am with our cake and a birthday banner. Escorted to the cabana. We were told our service buttons don t work. We tried using our neighbors service button but ALL the cabana service buttons were broken. They brought out balloons which flew away and were never replaced. Ceiling fan was broken. Couch cushions did not fit the seats and were getting a little moldy. The waitress did the best she could since all cabanas were filled. But I wonder why ocean breeze cant invest in keeping up their cabanas when they charge so much for them. We are season pass holders. Not sure we will get passes next year. Wave pool kept breaking down too and has been for the past 2 weeks. Very disappointed in ocean breeze.

It was great, water rides were awesome. Ticket is reasonable.

Its pretty fun. Short lines during the weekday. Good water fun for the whole family. Only thing the wave pool isn't too good for small kids. Waves get pretty rough. Gonna spend about 150 for three ppl with lunch. If you schedule when it storms toward the end of the day, they shut the park down and give you a raincheck for another day.

This was my first time at Ocean Breeze it's a decent park but there were no maps posted anywhere. We got confused a few times along with other guest on which ride was which and which line to get into since there were no signs visible. Overall it was a fun day but wish the park was more organized and not so bunched together.

Nice waterpark to have fun... specially after 4pm.

Great family fun. Alot of concrete, so wear swim shoes. That summer sun can heat that surface up quick. Lots of parking. Plenty to do here. Not a bad way to spend a summer day.

We love the lazy river. Season passes and meal plan are the way to go. Friday night movie nights are.our favorite. Four stars because we wish there were more meal options and umbrellas.

Why I like this plaes is because it gets me out of the house more often

Great for kids and family fun! Seating can become an issue. Cabanas are reasonably priced and totally worth it. Breeze passes are $5 and allow you to bypass lines. Highly recommend.

Great local place...a little pricey but still a good time!
