Ocean Breeze Waterpark Review

Great for afternoon get away, food and adult beverages way overpriced!!!

Took the kids and can't wait to go back!!!! So much fun and everyone was so nice and helpful.

Ticket price is high. Came to the park on July 21st at 5pm. Found out park closed at 7pm. Did not get a reduced price. Walking up to get on the rides you must be physically fit otherwise forget it.

Cute little local park. Went on a somewhat crowded day and still really enjoyed it. The slides where fun and the huge pool! The food there is ok and they offered beer there. The funnel cake is what I would recommend.

Wonderful place for family fun, there is something for all ages to enjoy whetehwr you're enjoying the water park or just relaxing in the cabanas and enjoying the food service employees who bring your food and snack choices to your cabana. The cabanas aret equipped with a ceiling fan, comfortable seating and cabel tv and a menu to choose from.

I asked for boneless pizza the pizza had a bone in it I am very pissed off
I had jews with no bones

Lots of things to do here. Amazing young staff and def the best wave pool I have yet experienced.

The wave pool is the best!!! I rented a VIP for the day and our attendant was wonderful. We try to come once a year, we will continue to keep coming here

The place has the best water slides ever it's so fun you can do anything there there's even food trucks they're so good there's a wave pool oh it's fun

Love Ocean Breeze. Go there every summer for the end of the summer gatherings with my family. Family oriented!!

This park is disgusting. There is paper and garbage everywhere. The restrooms are very unkempt. There were cobwebs in the corners!!! How embarrassing for Virginia Beach to have this filthy park. The employees were rude. You can see that customer service is not stressed as part of their training.

Fun water slides. Get the fast pass. It's worth it.

Great water slides. We used a Groupon to get a good discount. Our Grandsons loved it.

If you decide to spend the money to go here, CHECK the weather and be sure there won't be a cloud in the sky within a 5-10 mile vicinity of the park. The two times we went, (not a visible rain cloud, blue skies and sun, but because there was some miles away) they shut down everything, multiple times, for 60-90 minutes, very hot and kids quickly became miserable. They may or may not issue rain checks after this. I understand safety, but it seems excessive when theres no rain clouds even visible, and the sun is out. That being said, they did end up eventually issuing rain checks both times (but you may have to wait over an hour/90 minutes with disappointed kids, to get that). You can not bring food items in, so pack a cooler in the car - the parking lot is close by and you can go in/out. Also, the park is relatively small, which makes it convenient to try everything, and for walking around. The lifeguards DO seem to be very attentive of children, and a lot of slides suitable for younger ones. 2 stars only because of the long waits and multiple shut downs both times.

Visited the park 6.10.2017. Horrible experience. We were in the kiddie area and had to endure several intoxicated persons. Drinking all day. From this group of people, had ice water thrown on us. Endured harassment multiple times.

An amazing place to take the kids! Many attractions for people to get on. Price is really reasonable. Food portion will stuff you. I can keep going on and on. Loved it!

This is a great place . I love how it is split into different parts and it has a height requirement on each ride good for younger and older kids and adults

I enjoyed this water park. The food prices were high so take plenty of money. Single ice cream cone 5$.

Absolutely love this place and so worth the season pass as the kiddos and I tend to go 2-3 times a week. The ONLY request I would ever have, is an adult lazy river, no kids allowed.....but that s just me being selfish :)

One word of advice, Go early. Do not rent the cabanas unless you have someone with you that doesn't want to sleep and only wants to lounge, otherwise it's a waste of money. The wave pool is awesome and it's so big that it doesn't feel overly crowded. The lazy river is also nice. Lots of slides and the food isn't bad. Typical amusement park food

Fun place for the family. Wish they stayed open passed 7pm

Plenty to do even if you dont swim like I dont just wished the go kart and putt putt was included considering the high price.

Really nice family friendly waterpark. We always get season passes ans they are well worth the money! They have a great kids area that there is only one way in and out to. Lots of water slides and a great lazy river! We love it here!

I've been going here since I was a kid and it's still just as fun.

Had a lot of fun with my family. I believe the best part of the park is the wave pool hands down.

Amazing park with many great rides. River Runners food service was very kind and energetic. Specifically Jacob, and Nevaiah while working under busy circumstances. Great expirience.

It's a good place. Good for kids. We went for an event so the lines were not at normal operation length. It was fun. Some of there children height requirements are a bit high.

Great place to come and hang for the day, a couple of hours or so. Locals come after 4 pm usually which is great. So much stuff for kids to do and adults to do. Fun for the whole family!

Liked it just wish there was more to the place that would probably make it better but atleast there were no lines

This Waterpark is great for the kiddos as well as the adults. Both can have a full day of fun in the water. The food is decent as well.

I got a admission season pass and they give me lots of respect to there customers in the park.
