Lot to do for adults and children, lot of rides, games, food, music, events, things to learn, etc.
They need to have more little kid rides and to not charge so much
Nice to walk around on the weekends when they have the farmers market
Haven't been there in a long time. Very disappointing, its about 1/3 the size of what it was.
We had a blast and it was my and our sonss first time there. As my wife took and showed us where everything was.
I've been going to the OC Fair since 1976... Its very much the same and always fun!
The Pretzels were awesome!!!! The Fresh baked pretzels were the best part if the night l! Hope to see them at the OC Fair next year!
The truck adventure event was ok, the vehicles were too close together and the lines to sit in the vehicles were too long. Kids loved all the star wars characters though that had nothing to do with the event.
This was our yearly trip to the OC Fair and as usual we had a blast. From the pig and Turkey races to the rides, putting zoo, exhibits, water play area, science learning center and the food oh man the fair food a Smorgasbord of flavors. If you haven't been yet you need to go and spend a day at the OC Fair there's something for everybody.
Went to the Irish Celtic festival. Good food well planned and very family friendly
Fun and exciting rides! Great Bargains on bargain days and great bargains for wristbands $35 for unlimited rides for up to an 8 hour period. Don't want to wait in lines spend an extra $25 and get bumped to the front of the line.
Very wide and huge place fits obviously all the events that happens in the summer.
It was really great, I didn't like it because everything was expensive as hell, food, drinks, tickets, just completely EVERYTHING. Didn't know how much money I had left because everything took 3 days to go through pending in my bank. Then the day we went the drinks were absolutely horrible, they had no taste at all and tasted like there wasn't alcohol in them. The very best part of all we were there that night someone was stabbed, you can say how is that the fairs fault, well when we went through the security check the guy held my sister's purse said "anything in here I need to see?" Then she walked through the thing and he handed it to her on the other side and did the same to my girlfriend. Sorry but that's how people get killed.
Go to fair; have fun; go shopping at South Coast Plaza come home with stuff!
It was fun to go to the event and then ride the ferris wheel.
VS Tet festival is always fun. Plenty of parking if you're willing to walk a little. Lots of good food and very good variety. I go every year for the kids. They love the carnival and rides
The Winterfest was not what I expected. I expected a whole snow- driven experience. Instead there was just a snow area and the rest was just a fair. The prices of everything was highway robbery. I really liked the Dickens area tho. And the biggest rocking chair was a site. The Christmas lights and decorations were very pretty and the props for the pictures were great. Not the worst experience ever but not going back.
I attended the Japanese festival and I had a great time. Delicious food !
Swap meet it's ok prices are mall prices everything NEW
Huge event. Great rides, booths, food options and concerts. Look online for promos and discount days. Hit the indoor booths to cool off in the AC.
we saw Willie Nelson, 85 years old and he played a solid 2 hours.
great venue.
Always a blast. Just wish it wasn't always so crowded!
This year's fair was as good a any other. No real head liners in concert but it was all you would expect.
Note: Saturday's and Sunday's are half price from 11am to 1pm for only $7 Entry vs. paying $14 regular price entry.
Food is way over priced as always at any fair. So eat before you go to hold your hunger, if you plan to stay for the whole day especially. The $14 Turkey Leg was huge and really tasty. Chicken Charlies (I think that was the name) had really great fried drum sticks and french fries. The hot dog was really filling according to the portion size, it was over a foot long or so for about $12
I Loved the animal petting zoo!!! They have. Little baby goats , 2 little deer, 1 small cow, 2 Llamas, a baby pig, and sheep. That was the BEST part of the OC Fair for me!!!
Note: There is free parking across the street at Orange Coast College. Walking is only about 5 minutes to the entry.
Dont forget to bring some bottled water into the Fair. Its been really hot lately.
There are plenty of rides, games, food vendors, concert line ups with tribute bands and some bands/singers from the past, and lots of other great things like little shops to see, buy, and walk around.
I had a great relaxing day off at the OC Fair. It was still a great experience!!!
Small but great fair and good eat's price right to enter
the fair had so much variety. minus one star because everything was OVER-overpriced. prepare and be expecting smells like animal poop. still i had so much fun!!!
They have an outstanding location, easy parking, and excellent maintenance people.
Had an issue when we bought tickets for the games and attractions. We used them on one attraction and it was maxed out. The customer service booth checked what it was used on and it showed it was all used on games which we didn't play. So they either sold us a used ticket card or the system had errors. The guy was condescending and not helpful at all.
Fun, greasy fried foods, and free entertainment! What's there not to like?....oh yeah...the parking! Getting in and out is a nightmare! Taking the free shuttle was great!....but waiting in line ....the long long line to load up the shuttle to go back was also a nightmare! Can't win with the ride situation....taking one star away!
Saw Cirque du Soleil, easy parking, safe atmosphere
Way overpriced. Knott's Berry Farm admission and food is cheaper. Plus more fun
Wonderful event the OC Fair & everyone from the parking attendants to booths & rides were all great the only down side is the cost, needs to be a little less expensive to treat your kids.
It wasn't too hot or too crowded. The food was delish and it was a lot of fun. It was an overall great day at the fair!! I celebrate my birthday there annually with my sister. Already looking forward to next year!!!
They make event parking work. Come here for the fair and stay for the shows.
The fair wasn't open yet this was an agriculture event parking was nine bucks little too much very little food open and the food that was open was way overpriced
I was fascinated by the fair, it is what she had heard; It is large diversity of entertainment, a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks. ... it is a show that everything is very neat and organized ...
The OC Fair & Event Center itstelf is really nice. The center is enormous, with several different buildings and, therefore, plenty of room for various simultaneous activities, festivals, events, and conventions without feeling claustrophobically over-crowded. One issue that stands out as particularly awful, however, is the parking situation. They charge $9 to park, and while there is plenty of space, the attendants are useless. They ask what event you're attending and take your money, but don't advise you on the best place to park. Moreover, there are NO signs. NONE. NADA. The result is that you park somewhere and then spend 30 minutes walking around the vast, vast, vast area trying to find the event you want to attend. Since you must pay for entrance to each venue, they're all fenced off, prohibiting you from taking any shortcuts. For us, it was merely inconvenient and frustrating. For people with mobility issues, it must be a nightmare. Given the easy resolution (reasonable signage and attendants who offer parking guidance), the unnecessary frustration is just stupid and simply should not be.
On this particular weekend, we attended the Japan Festival. It's a fun, low-key event with music, contests, games, cosplay and lots of great food. I highly recommend the "Rockin Gyoza" and could personally live on them alone. The Ramen was pretty amazing as well! The vendors range from cheap toys to beautiful handmade jewellery. There are ATMs available on site, but most vendors take cards. I recommend going at night if you can, as the sun can be pretty punishing after a while and, outside of the indoor vendor space, shade is relatively scarce. Buy tickets online for a dollar less than the entrance fee.
I really enjoyed the concert I went to here, but the food stands were ridiculously priced and not very good. Other than that I had a great experience!
Very clean! I was surprised how nice this fair actually is I had a really great time here and look forward to next year.
Fun place to take the family or friends with all kinds of different foods available and dessert also some few vendors selling many types of items health, homegoods, beauty and so on. Just be prepared to spend some money.
The farm area is free. It's ok. They have cows and what not, as seen here. If you go, don't touch anything. I'm assuming there's a lot of diseases. Because of the animals constantly pooping everywhere and not cleaning up after themselves.
We had a good time visiting with friends and listening to live music at the karaoke stage. Parking is easy to find if you drive around to the back side of the fair, free parking at the College and come in through the green gate. Now I know this is an issue with everybody. $12.00 to enter each person. The price for food and drinks are over the top. $12.00 dollars for a burrito? $12.50 for a large beer.$14.00 for a Turkey leg. How is a young family with a couple of kids going to be able to enjoy this Fair. A family night at reduced prices would be nice to see especially on a slow night or the middle of the week. We are older and have raised our children so we marvel on how can young families even afford to come out to this fair. It's alot cleaner than Pomona and safer for the whole family. I'm still a major fan but will eat before coming out to the fair.
Brandon from the Verizon booth at the OC Fair was great at answering all of my questions and ultimately upgraded our phones and added an iPad, exactly what I wanted to do. He was professional and patient.
Great venue to see bands in the summer BUT access to the parking lot is always a nightmare and I always vow to never return. They only open one gate to enter and you wait in a seemingly forever.
Fun, food, entertainment. Great fun for families and groups. Hero's wall and memorial very touching. Loved the butterfly exhibit.
I had a blast with my girlfriend Nita. it was our first outting' together wndnwltho we were only there for literally 2 hours it was awesome.
Very overpriced for mediocre, at best, food and rides. Good craft beer selection.
We usually go there and walk around and look at the exhibits.
It is very family outdoor activities and business adventure. Shop Eat, Music And Car Wash On Spot.
So much fun at the drive thru! Great people and food!
Suuuupppper great food! Safe environment! Really great entertainment, and must try petting zoo!
The OC fair is mandatory if you live in Orange County. There's plenty to do and see. Rides are your typical fair rides and the food will make you fat but that's what it's all about. Traffic and parking can be hectic during the busy times but that's expected. The fairgrounds are pretty big so make sure you walk around it all and see everything. There are plenty of bathrooms and they keep them decently clean
