Terrible to pass security control, 15 min to buy a ticket and almost an hour to pass security.
Love it lots to ser and do and eat oh drink of course.
Awesome fair once a year. Great bbq food and great rides. A must place to visit
This is my favorite fair to go to! Good games and the roller coasters are so fun! also Great food selections.
Love the Fair! The bacon, maple doughnuts not to bad either! . Everything is a bit pricey though!
The Urban Legends haunt was boring. It was not scary at all. They did not take into account the different height levels of the cars. If you were not in an SUV it was hard to see the show and what was going on during the performance. I started watching the news on youtube, that was how exciting it was.
A historic place to enjoy market vendors, sit in the cantina and enjoy live bands while sipping on some ice cold brews! The food court offers an array of delicious finds like fresh baked breads, tasty hummus, chips & salsa, an assortment of nuts, the best kinds of cookies & KILLER JERKY! The #1 jerky vendor in Southern California!! The market place is making lots of improvements hoping to win back their customers!
A few years ago I would have given 5 stars. But to me the atmosphere of the fair has changed. Use to be way more vendors with unique items. Now it's many more food booths, many many more scary rides, and alot more carni game booths. And way overcrowded. Just my opinion.
The Hanger at the Orange County Fair is a great venue!!!
Bring 200 dollars, that will buy you one hour in the fair.
Nice snow place here in orange county , I have season pass and it saved me lots of money and time
The OC Fair is a great tradition! Fun for all ages, and you can save a bundle if you keep an eye out for their special days and deals. We enjoyed the free shuttle this past year. I did find it hard to locate affordable soft drinks this last year. Granted, one always expects to pay a premium for refreshment at a fair... In years past, I found a good deal on refillable soft drinks and missed that this last year.
Not enough parking space for certain events, police create more traffic than helping, police on motorcycles also hide so they can give infraction tickets taking advantage of the situation
Clean facility, helpful staff. Usually attend Speedway events .
Got that bomb food
And couple rides to make you spit it back out
Had a good time. The air conditioning in the buildings was a nice escape from the heat.
I'm used to the Wisconsin State Fair so its definitely smaller. Other than that, for a county fair it was enjoyable with many places to get food. Just wish there was smaller portions so you can try many different things instead of one item.
Best place to eat is the BBQ Village. We had a blast!
The fairgrounds are huge-if you are meeting someone there, make sure to specify which entrance to meet at because depending on the entrance, it can be a very long walk. Other than that, great place for dates, hanging out with friends, or a family outing. Make sure to wear sunscreen!
Had a really good time today. Let me say that I enjoyed this fair more than the LA Fair by a mile! And a half! More food diversity, more rides, more liquor. Bout the same size hole in your wallet though. So many different things to do here and waste time effitiently. Only snapped a few pics.
Parking was an ease. The line was a little obnoxious because there was no real guide as to where one should stand to wait, but it moved fairly quickly. The OC Night Market was a little smaller than I expected but was great. Food was awesome. Carnival style games were fun.
Everything too expensive. $10 per person for 5 minute ferris wheel ride! Parking $10.
More events than you can shake a stick at. I really like their agriculture area!
A very good friend invited me to go to the Orange county fair and I loved this place. It reminded me of county fairs when I was young. Easy to park and fun for the whole family.
We had a wonderful time at the fair. Very busy, lots of people!
This place hosts all kinds of events from the famous Orange County Fair, to speedway, concerts, gun shows, trade shows & expos for all kinds of industries, & even demolition derbys. Yes, everything is expensive at most of these events, but it's a great venue. I suggest researching parking options before you go... the parking lot options aren't too bad, but navigating the surrounding streets is a nightmare.
Me and the family go every year. Very fun, clean, live music, lots of beer and wine vendors. Incredible food choices. It can be crowded on weekends. All sorts of things to buy. But family atmosphere. Lots of security and oc sheriff's walking around. Great date night spot. Or even first date spot.
Bought the super pass. Things have changed in 2017. The price of a lot of things has increased. Big change are to the weekend hours. Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to midnight. I will be trying the $3 food tasting on Thursday and will update my review. I recommend the OC Fair express bus but it only runs on the weekends. They have discontinued Friday service. There is a lot to see and to do for everybody for all ages.
They've been feeding Seniors all through these hard times with meals on Wheels ! (Out-door pick-up) this whole time ! TKS. To all volunteers ! My husband had two surgeries to amputate his foot & I've been out of work ! TKS.
It's the fair. Lots of stuff to do, lots of space to do it, and not a lot of people regulating it. An experience.
Me and my wife had a great time on one of our only days off. Fair its been a while still a fun place to eat and have fun
It's not the same quality more expensive less food you don't mind paying fair prices but you still expect the food to be big
What has happened to the Swap Meet - it used to be crowded and more vendors?
Such a fun summer tradition! I ve been going for over 25 years now! I lol forward to it every year! The food and drinks are amazing. The desserts are awesome! There is lots of shopping and things to see as well! Clean restrooms too!
Haven't been to the OC Fair in years and decided to go today, Wednesday 8/1/2018. It was hot. Didn't go on any rides. Of course had to eat the Fair good and I was shocked to see how much the food was. Good thing it was only me and my girlfriend because a family of 4 or 5 would have paid over $100 just for food at one vendor. That doesn't include drinks, beer or sweets. Other than that there wasn't anything exciting enough to make me want to go back for another few years.
Met up with friends to watch " Tribute Band to Oingo-Boingo at the Hanger, pretty stuffy in there, but had a blast. We had no choice but to park across ( church parking) Second day of the Fair and its wild in there.$10.00 bucks for parking and alot more walking than anticipated. You will get frisked tho and will check your personals( purses).
Fun! Fun! Fun! Turkey legs are the best, rides are wild and fun, but a bit pricey. Pigs race is our family's favorite! It's so entertaining, we can watch again and again and again!!
At the Fairgrounds for the annual Cruisin for a Cure car show. This is one of the best car shows in SoCal. Held every September it is not to be missed. 3000+ cars of all types. It raises awareness and donations to fight Prostate Cancer.
Parking is a nightmare. Went Thursday. Spent over an hour circling the fair crawling bumper to bumper traffic. When it came time, only parking left available was permit only. Every other lot was closed. Left and went to beach instead.
We had a great time on the rides and trying fair foods. Overall great experience.
Nice to walk around checking stuff out having a beer
Very cool place for a first timer vising LA, lots of food, drinks, games, rollercoaster, free music concert, beautiful people and of course lots of people
Crazy amounts of people during the fair. Fun but expensive!
I always like going to the swap meet on the weekends
Not very many venders at this time of year. I am sure it will fill up with more venders come summer time. Lots of parking.
Not enough shade and water fountains. Food cost to much.
Pleasantly surprised with this small local fair. Great food, shows, and exhibits. Will go back next year.
It's a lot of fun. Rides, good food and shopping. Just beware some vendors can be aggressive.
Best fair.... clean...huge... plenty of parking...safety... I come here every year. Better than the other fair!
Clean bathrooms! A smelly and dirty restroom always kills a fun event for me! But, here, you can enjoy yourself and use clean facilities.
Had a wonderful time! New upgrades to several areas are nice!
Stopped by the Verizon Wireless booth and received fantastic customer service from Julio Ruiz. He was patient, kind, and easy going setting up my new plan! This process was so easy.
Corn dogs and stuff lots of stuff did I say stuff , we got my car a dash board cover , we will get seat covers from the same booth
Visited the Verizon booth at the oc fair and worked with Julio. I got a free tablet and he made the process easy and painless. - Joe & Janice
the unlimited rides bracelet was a ripoff, they didnt give you unlimited rides. uncool
was at the Tet Festival put on by UVSA. I am always pleased with the festival they put on. I am glad they have a place where they have the space needed. Great festival each year!! ^_^
