Great location for some family time. Expect a little bit of traffic while parking. Restrooms were very clean on opening day and there is even dedicated Changing Stations for the little ones now. There are multiple types of shows even some live music. There are also some other premium events but their cost is separate from fair admission if you purchase them after you enter the fair grounds (Note that some live events might include the fair admission at no additional cost). Most carnaval rides start at 6 tickets per person. Minimum ticket purchase inside the fair for carnival rides starts at 10 tickets for $5 bucks. Carnival rides had a special for half-off until 4pm on opening day (it would be good to ask if there are such specials on the day you visit). Parking is not free and you can pay for it at the gate or buy it ahead of time.

I have been going to the fair for over 30 years. This OC Fair makes more money than ..all other fairs ..Seriously. Yet they are.. SO CHEAP.. they wouldnot pay for quality entertainment. THEY HAD THE WORST ENTERTAINMENT LINE UP AT THE PACIFIC AMPHITHEATERE.. I HAVE EVER..EVER.. SEEN. Usually I go to at least 4 shows ..The only good show was Steve Miller.. And it was only one sold out.. Shame on your greed !

We attended a socially distanced "Fair Food" event. Since the OC Fair was cancelled because of the pandemic, this was an opportunity to eat turkey legs, hot dogs, and my favorite funnel cake with strawberries.

It's going downhill. Prices have gone up noticeably. The features have gone down. I swear there were half the number of animals this year, fewer special features, fewer of the crafty shopping booths outdoors. It just didn't seem up to snuff this year. Spent $80 for 2 hours there. It gets 3 stars because there were still some of the things I love, and was still generally entertaining, it just wasn't anything exciting this year.

It was nice to experience for ourselves and the kids.
Parking was ok, though expensive at $20.
Entry fee only $4...... but next is where you get nailed....before 1pm you can purchase an unlimited ride pass for $55 that lasts till 4PM. If you have a child under 42" tall there are about 16 rides for them, there are an additional 7 rides they would need a companion which you need to have seperate tickets/credits purchased. Now the sideshow games you need to purchase seperately also, but watch out, a lot of games will cost you 10 tickets/credits to play. A lot of interesting food options with a heavy hit to the wallet also.

I love the Oc fair! It's easy to get there and parking isn't that much of a headache (well at least I think so) They use the OCC parking lots so there's plenty of parking. The food is great although it can be a bit pricy. There is also so much to do and perfect to hang out with family and friends! :)

Disappointed. I saw a concert of a great local band (Stick Figure - must see!~) during the OC Fair; tickets were relatively reasonable, unfortunately, the sound-man for the house-mix (what the paying audience actually hears) was asleep at the wheel, so it was frustrating to have such poor, muddy sound for a Live show. On top of that, the staff were WAY over-zealous/borderline militant & even unfriendly about letting anyone dance & enjoy the Music in the aisles- this, despite having third -row seats. Be ready to also pay $10 to park. Overall, i couldn't recommend a show here. They need to work on their hospitality, & frickin loosen up so people can enjoy the show. Lame -

It was my first year and I love it, there's tons of food variations, it is so big, there's so much things to do and see, like animal farms, piggy races, there's activities for kids and grownups, rides, and shows. Definitely a must go.

We enjoyed the 626 Night Market in OC. The food was good and the art was really great. Wish they had more booths of locals that aren't food. Very busy and long lines for everything. Enjoyed our firecracker wings from the food truck and our strawberry/peach baby bottles.

This place is great for all ages. It's huge with live music, animals to pet and ooh and aah about, beer and food at every corner! The games are kind of pricey with the tickets so make sure you get a lot if you're planning on staying for a while. There's a kid friendly zone so the little ones can have fun with rides and games as well. Parking can be a mess but it is 10$.

$45/ night for camping. There are a couple of 30 amp and 50 amp spots, but mostly 20 amp spots. No amenities, but it's the cheapest place I've found in SoCal. Close to beach, food and amusement parks. 24 hr security, clean and friendly staff. 2 week max stay.

Pricing sucks,

Pricing sucks,
Most of the rides, games are 20 tickets per game. But their ticket packages dont make sense. Way over priced! I would have to spend $100 to enjoy maybe 3 rides and maybe 1 prize game.

Too bad!!

The fair is a blast of fun and crazy food. The oddest combo of fried treats you'll find, plus many good local brews to try. I have to visit the woodworkers. Many great OC artists craft beautiful wooden creations, if I had more money I'd make offers on many of the pieces I see each year.
