For a chain pub it is quite nice. The lunch menu is good value and the staff are friendly.

Went on a Tuesday night. Took a bit long to get seated (had pre-booked) and waitress seemed a bit run off her feet so it took nearly 20 minutes to get our order taken once seated. After that good experience, and sirloin steak was really nice, cooked perfectly. Have been before, would go again.

Had Christmas day meal here absolutely wonderful could not be more happy the food was perfect and the staff are out of this world nothing is to much trouble a great time all round

Lovely place. Slightly sad that they had sold out of carvery/Sunday roast by 2pm. I was told that this was very common, so perhaps rectifying this would make people like me very happy. Having said that the tuna dish I had instead was fantastic, as was my dining partners filled steak meal. Great staff also. Will definitely return

We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here today. Careful and attentive staff and the food was good. The rump steak I had was juicy and tender and my companions enjoyed their meals too.

Service was incredibly slow, the food was average the only saving grace was the waiter giving us a discount for how long it took

Lizzie (5104) is absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!! The best customer service. It's her that made our experience a good one. The food was also very good.

Food took forever to come out. Then 2 meals were wrong. Food wasent hot. Then puddings come out with no spoons. Had to find a waitress to tell her we had no spoons. Then took another 10 minutes to get them.

We've been along numerous times in recent months and the service and food has been great every time.

I visit at least twice a week and because of that I am probably well looked after.

First time here and it was lovely, friendly staff the only let down was the service and food. As it took a while for them to give us drinks and got it wrong. The food was nice.

A brilliant evening at the Oast & Squire with family. The waitress was really lovely too.

Disappointing visit, served burnt gravy (how do you do that?) Admittedly they exchanged it, but then of course didn't eat at the same time as everyone else. No offer to make up for it (free drink, dessert, reduction of bill etc. )

Two steaks ordered both rare. One was medium rare other was medium. I would have rejected them but it was other people who ordered them.

Christmas party held here for work and it is always great. We have a lunchtime do and service is prompt, the food is warm and staff friendly. The portion sizes are good too as sometimes set menus arent very generous. Highly recommend as a Christmas venue. I've also been for dinner and at lunchtime. They cater well for children

Feel rough as anything after eating the prawn cocktail. The dish didn't seem right was very wet. If it makes me sick you'll get a bag if it sent to you in the post!!! Plus the mouse that the waitress saw run through the restaurant area worries me!!!

Staff friendly but service slow. Food distinctly average and, despite being a Beefeater, no concept of what medium rare means.

Came for the daytime special deal. Well worth it. Food and service excellent. Better during the day than evening I have found.
Place is nicely set out with good outdoor area. Overall worth a visit.

Had a nice meal, I went for the mixed grill which was a good size and cooked very well. Good value for money, recommend booking as it does get busy.

Cold, over cooked food, seemed like it was kept in hot hold for too long. My burger was chewy and very hard to cut, not the standard of food I expected.

The menu was full of great choices.
As a foursome we shared a Loaded Nachos starter that was a cut above the usual
A light starter for four but generous for two
The Wagu burger looked and tasted great
The Rocky Road Sundae was shared for two but I could have eaten it all as it was so yummy
Service was friendly and the servers seemed interested in you
All in all a very positive experience

Recently nicely redecorated, although the light levels might be a little low for the winter, time will tell.
The food is fairly standard fare overall, but seriously lacking in choices for vegetarians.

Went for an Christmas meal on Christmas eve with about 10 people. We booked a few months in advance but were not asked for our orders, so I was a little wary whether we would have much option but there was plenty to chose from and even the night before Christmas they had everything on the menu with different options for those who don't want a traditional Christmas dinner plus the regular menu also. Atmosphere was great and place was well decorated. Food was pretty good, with a great big table for us all to sit comfortably around. It was a great night and had great food so would definitely recommend for a Christmas dinner.

Clean and attentive staff , food nothing special though.

I liked the atmosphere as we went for a family meal and waiting staff very friendly and efficient.
However the food was terrible everything was cold in spite being first service of the day.Potatoes were not roasted. stuffing cold. sprouts frozen under cooked and mushroom and brie Wellington was soggy and tasteless and pastry ruined by grsvy on it.

We as a party were very disappointed we only meet up once a year ( whole family )

Its not often that I am impressed from start to finish with a meal out, but today completely exceeded our expectations! Our waitress poppy was fantastic and looked after us impeccably! The food was out of this world, (fillet steak, Asian salad, scallops, and double stack burger) couldn't fault it one bit! The manager was also amazing, very friendly and chatty and made us laugh so much. If I could rate more than 5 starts I would. Thank you for making our day a very special one

Standard Beefeater menu in a relatively nice venue. Their new daytime saver menu is really good value.
