Went to see Inside the Staircase, didn't get a good look of the place but it was big and there was plenty of seats available. The seats weren't comfortable at all but we had a whole row to ourselves. Bit of a random place to have the venue but all round all good

Went to see volveat with my wife, had tickets for seating in the balcony, thought it would be a bit calmer as my wife suffers from severe anxiety attacks, however it was so busy an attack came over her but thanks to a steward named Ryan who not only made her feel comfortable but then escorted us both to a more secure

The O2 Academy offers a decent sound for bands and with the building being an old theatre / cinema the slope of flooring and stairs allows decent view of the stage. Went for Machine Head and loved it

Excellent venue, never had any issues with door staff. Security inside can be a little hit and miss, I got pulled up and threatened to be removed for taking videos (I was taking a photo and an announcement at the beginning said that was allowed) however said nothing to the drunk guy who was shouting regularly and being abusive to people!

Security was good. Certainly saved me missing the stranglers. Odd customs you jocks have, you can't chill out with a spliff but you can get aggressive boozing all day. That could have been the Celtic fans though.

Went to see trivium. They are great to see live. The place was nice. Friendly staff and the place was clean. They could open a door or something to get some fresh air as it got sticky and hot

Such a small venue with incredibly rude staff, if your thinking of going to an over 18 even here please think again as i am 20 years old and brought 2 forms of proof of age (drivers license and student card) i got turned away even with id, as did my friend who is 22 and brought her passport and again got a knock back, staff were incredibly rude and i was told to "not insult their intelligence", i have a tattoo which i also showed and a braclet that have both an 18 and 21 charm on it and they rufused to give me my money back and let me in

Great venue for acoustics, my only issue with it was that the gig was very warm and cramped. It seemed like there was no ventilation whatsoever, and everyone including the band commented on just how warm it was. Apart from that it was a great place, just be careful if attending a sold out show.

My time at the O2 Academy was a good one. With an entrance straight into the hall. With four bars to get drinks you're never far away to get that beverage that you crave. Audio wise, the place had a great system set up so was able to hear everything.

Nice venue for a gig. Attended Kip Moore and sat in the unreserved seating on the balcony. Good view and great atmosphere when everything got going. Acoustics sound great too. Building generally has an old feel about it (toilets seem dingy and smelly) but I suppose that's to be expected given the age and design of the building. Would go to another gig there. Staff friendly and helpful.

Been to many gigs here, and have grown to love it despite its flaws. Very expensive bar is a major negative - nearly a fiver for a pint of their bog standard lager loses points. But it allows great views if you find the right spots. And if you get the chance to see a gig from a balcony alcove, it can be truly wonderful.

Visited the O2 academy last night with husband who has walking difficulties. Whilst waiting in a very long queue one of the stewards approached my husband and told him to make his way straight to the front of the queue where he got priority access. Great customer service. Thank you

Disgusting venue. I attended a concert recently and was told at the last minue my bag had to be put in the cloakroom which I was not told on the ticket, on the website or anywhere else. OTHERWISE I would not have brought a bag. It was a cheapshot at making lots of money. The que for the cloakroom after the concert was a disgrace, hunders of people queing on stairs which were soaking wet. The walls and ceilings were dripping with who knows what kind of fluid. It was nothing but a safety hazard, very disorganized and disgusting. I will not be going back. Put an absolute downer to the end of a great night.

Entry was a complete cluster. Why bother with an O2 priority queue if you're going to pass everyone in from the regular queue first. Security also wouldn't remove someone who was very disruptive to others around. The bright spot was Leslie, who was am absolute gem in assisting us with verifying our tickets would scan correctly.
