Really cool venue. You can see it has a ton of history behind it. Getting to the toilet during a gig/intermission can be difficult due to size and location.

As a music venue it's good but it has hyper overpriced bars with very poor choice and quality drinks.
Brilliant small gig venue with lots of bars and good viewing areas
Steel Panther rocked this place....and it has a pub.....
Beautiful building. Lovely staff. But disappointed by only one toilet being open and as it's standing room only it was quite uncomfortable for an old fogie like me who needs a wee seat every now and again.
Good gigs Underworld blows the doors off touring "Oblivion with bells on"
It's good for some band ls but sometimes sound can be an issues as the setup can make it too distorted
Adequate venue. Acoustics a challenge. ABC was better but now real gone.
Great venue. Not too big. Saw Machine Head, loud and amazing. One of the best gigs I've been to.
At the gig on wednesday 28/11/18, the weather was really bad, staff from o2 gave out ponchos to everyone waiting for free, well done to o2 academy for looking after their customers
Great gig, sound and light show were amazing and Volbeat always put on a good show. Only thing that let it down was the seat, probably the most uncomfortable seat I have had the misfortune to park my butt in. Next time I go to the O2 Academy, I will be standing.
Absolutely fantastic... Was at The Dead South gig and they were out of this world.
The support act... Danny Olliver and The Noble Jacks were brilliant.
Gr8 venue, gr8 sound.
Amazing music venue, one of my favorites! Good layout, good acoustics and nice staff.
Great concert venue, friendly staff, good acoustics and lighting. Seats comfortable on the balcony and Kodaline were immense
One of the better venues to "see" a band, place has great atmosphere and sound quality is usually excellent. Big enough for a good size crowd and atmosphere but still get the up close feel watching a band. Always enjoy a gig here, staff that work the venue are decent and friendly, easy enough to get to from center of town on foot, underground station close by, usually on street parking nearby.
Great venue for any concert, Intimate but spacious!! The architecture inside the building only adds to the atmosphere! Drinks are expensive though and security is a bit Gustavo like! The sound system and lighting is excellent making it a great place to take in an event.
Went here last night to see Freya Ridings and she was as brilliant as expected but the venue was pretty awful. Rudest audience I ve ever experienced with loads of folks talking and shouting all the way through the performance. It s not helped with the main bar being positioned in the middle of the upper stalls under the balcony. The noise is just amplified forwards. I can t say I m a fan of the standing room only downstairs either. The few seats available are all reserved. Entry was hopeless too, funnelling everyone who wasn t on O2 priority through the 1 doorway to get in. Meant there was an enormous queue leaving folks out in the cold. Luckily it wasn t raining.

Old theatre that's been converted into a concert venue. Very nicely preserved. Good sound too.
venue ok staff terrible was a a gig last night and parked my car in front of a fight with 02 staff and a resident it took 3 security to surround the resident and attack him me and my freinds in the car filmed the whole thing police arrived it was a total discrace just becareful if going there as what i seen is not allowed by any staff or security will be sending the video to head office and managers along with the police have them today why because i went to the 02 for a night out never again
There's no place to hide from the rain so I felt a bit silly when I arrived early. So cold and wet in the queue in a windy night! Also as a tourist from outside UK I would strongly suggest O2 stop using priority line since there's no way we could have an O2 phone - and we come all the way!
Badly in need of renovation. Gets ridiculously hot and needs working ventilation. The security are in need of training, blocked stairwells and doing nothing about overly drunk attendees spoiling it for everyone else.
Cool venue with classic theatre boxes looking over a dance floor that has hosted so many class acts. Friendly security, great building, long ques for toilets and the small bars (who accept card and cash) but there is nothing really that can be done about this and is standard venue situation really and when they keep on booking such great acts it s worth a wee wait now and then.
Great venue great music and 2 pint glasses can't ask for more than that great place
Loved seeing busted sounds not as good as hydro but still amazing.very small in size too they even brought out hot tea ciz it was freezing awsome lads
Been a few times to O2. Scooter was fab (not as good as Braehead Arena last year though). Music, effects were great. Quick service at the bars and good selection of drinks available. The only downfall is the toilets... theres not enough. We waited almost 40 minutes in a queue. (Luckily it was before Scooter started lol)
Great venue been here for a few concerts. Great views of the stage with standing downstairs and seating upstairs
Brilliant Venue for Glasgow!
I went to see Hozier in December 2018!
Excellent door staff!
Excellent stewards at the event!
Could not fault anything about this venue and its staff!
Outstanding! Would love to come to another concert here!
My usual O2 gig is Newcastle! Where again the same is true of their staff and venue.
Saw Y & T James Arthur Seasick Stevie and the amazing Robert Plant and his Senegalese Shape Shifters!
Acoustics weren't the best, and you can't stand up in the balcony during the show.
Good place to see live acts. Will need a lick of paint to see those days again, oh and rebuilding.
Gig was great but must have been over capacity you literally could barely move
Traditional raw venue...busy..hot and sweating...just as it should be when attending a gig
Too hot. Too crowded. Lack of security inside venue. It's a shame that bands insist on booking this place to be honest.
Deceivingly large venue, great sound, good atmosphere and excellent architecture
Very disappointed as concert was cancelled after having travelled 150miles
Sound always poor, drinks pricey and little choice. Layout awkward, toilets awkward. Overpriced rubbish venue!
Saw Elvana, which is a band that dresses like Elvis Presley but sings Narvana songs, doesn't sound like it should work but in this instance it was an experience. The venue itself was very large, had several bars, and clean toilets. Overall a very good experience which left me satisfied after I left!
Brilliant venue, with both standing and seated areas. Staff really helpful as I have ltd mobility at the moment and need crutches... really good acoustics was able to see and hear the band from the balcony area perfectly. Would definitely recommend and go back again.
The venue has decent sound, and generates a good atmosphere. Drinks are pretty pricey.
A great venue with good sound and pleasant staff. However poorly accessible for those using walking aids or using a wheelchair.
Dreadful service at the bar., we stood at the bar in full and plain view for 25 minutes waiting to be served and it took another customer who just got to the bar who was offered service by the bar staff to point out that we had been waiting longer. Very poor service from the bar staff. Not to mention the fact that she made a mistake with our change . Not very easy to manoeuvre once away from the bar area as I have mobility issues and struggle with stairs so need to use the handrails and security staff wouldn't move on the stairs to enable me to use the handrail even when I explained that . Don't think I will be back.
Good venue for a concert. Sound good and different level to stand to get view of stage.
Absolutely brilliant music venue. Bouncing floor once the crowd starts rocking.
Nice location but the decor is quite old. The seats are uncomfortable
It was an amazing gig and venue love it but the toilets need to seriously be refurbished!
no bad think they mite need new speakers or a better sound systems programmer
Just seen ZZ Top , totally fantastic , will defo go back , great venue for small intimate gigs
Went to see Mabel on 1st of February 2020 what a night she was incredible brilliant concert Venue good sound quality and nice lighting effects everything was good will definitely come back here at some point!
Great gig venue, always sounds good. Plenty of bars and bathrooms.
Good venue, but should address issue of having to wait 30 in the rain to get in.
Absolutely fabulous night with the Gatsby crew as always!
Great venue. Very easy to get to and lots of parking nearby. Staff were all excellent and well organised. Would definately go to a gig here again.
Great venue for a gig. Glasgow crowd always know how to enjoy themselves!
Sound not great here but had some amazing nights listening to some great bands
Could be a nice place but needs dragged up to date. Especially the toilets.
Could be better. Sadly just become another shoddy O2 venue. Wish brands would stay out of music in this way.
