The food is good, the prices are a little high and it is very noisy. Atmosphere that lends itself especially for young people. It's not really a family environment.

Very interesting value for money, large portion, if you hesitate, go for it!

Always good and good quality food. A leu more expensive than the average but worth the price! A Flam Captain with a poutine side you're not mistaken!

Food was pretty bad. The service was great. I left my waitress a really big tip.

Prices much too expensive for ordinary food, kitsch atmosphere and try hard (symbols of Anarchy to sell burgers at $ 18, come on). There are better and cheaper options for walks, this one is not worth it.

Family of 4. Burgers and chicken burger exactly as order, fresh and tasty. Great service. Gabriel Poutine uses quality bacon and toppings. Background music entertaining 70' and 80's. Pricing is right for families. Better than most burger places.

What a great discovery. When we enter the restaurant, the first thing that strikes us is the decor. What a beautiful place, there is a super nice atmosphere.

I ordered the burger. Classic cheese and bacon and my wife ordered the Poutine de la Belle. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed at which our dishes arrived at our table.

The portions are generous. My burger was excellent, the meat was perfectly cooked. You take a bite and it melts in your mouth. The fries are also very good. The Kool-aid pickle has a unique taste.

The drinks are excellent and the presentation of these as well as llats, no complaints. The service was excellent.

The prices are a bit high on the other hand, $ 16 for a burger ... By cons it's their specialty so I can understand.

I will definitely go back.

Absolutely delicious. Went on a Saturday, was a little bit of a wait to get a seat in the restaurant. Worth the wait. Don't have a kids menu, but the waitress made a suggestion for what the kids could share as the meals are big.

Very expensive and nothing is great I ate it because I was hungry not because it was rich

First experience at this restaurant and we will definitely return. I like a restaurant that accepts children and allows me to have a good burger without breaking my bicycle.

Cool atmosphere, great flavours, huge portions. All you can ask for when craving a burger. Definitely one of the best burgers places I ve been to.

I actually couldn't get in on Saturday because it was way too loud. I felt like I was going to a dance club. You cannot hear yourself. I came in with 5 people and as soon as they got in they quickly said "nope".
If this is a The Works-like place then it's not one I can give a chance with this sort of loudness. The other restaurant plays classic rock too but you can still have great conversations with friends and family.
Hugely disappointed considering I love the sort of food that's served here and wanted to try it.

Love the look on the inside, very barn like. I have been here twice as of this review, had a burger the first time and it was good, VERY large portions so keep that in mind, their koolaid pickle seemed like it would be gross, but it was surprisingly good. Second time I had a poutine and it was pretty meh, wouldn't recommend. Next time I would get a burger again. Removing a star because both times I was there the lighting fixtures were very dusty and they hang right above the tables, would be great if they were wiped off every morning as noone wants to look at a dust covered fixture hanging above heir food.

Have eaten at this location of La Belle & La Boeuf several times and generally the burgers have been good! The menu is certainly varied, and there are a ton of options, but portions are large, the meat is decent quality and the fries make for a nice accompaniment. The prices are on the more expensive side for a burger at a chain location, but for the area, it's probably one of the best burgers you can get. The in store dining experience is also enjoyable, although during Covid-19, the takeout is still a very solid option.

They have no idea how to run a reservation system.

You click to make a reservation and it asks you how many people will be going so you pick 2. You select a time and bam you are e-mailed a "confirmation" for your reservation. Then the next day you get an e-mail saying your reservation has been cancelled with no explanation other than you should call.

So you call and they tell you reservations are only for a party of 6 or more which makes you wonder why they not only allowed you to make a reservation for 2 people but also why they confirmed it...

So weeks pass and your girlfriend who likes trendy things wants to go again but you don't want to wait in line to eat at the Quebecois rip off of the Works for 40-120 minutes, so you invite two other couples and make a reservation for 6. You ask for 7PM and get a menu of selections around then because 7 isn't available but 645pm is so you select that and of course get a confirmation of your reservation.

But of course as you should have expected you get an unexplained cancellation message which you only see the day of and call to find out that they are totally booked up for the entire night by people other than you.

So why did they allow me to select 645 and not 7 if both were booked up? Why did they "confirm" my reservation? I think it's because they take reservations over the phone or in person and don't enter them into the opentable system that they use until the end of the night when they bump people who have already been confirmed online. Or perhaps they have mis-configured their system (well clearly they have as it doesn't force you to select 6 persons or more but perhaps they have mis-configured it in many many ways...) but one thing is for sure they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to reservations and there is probably a reason why about half of the reviews here say the management are idiots.

If you're in Gatineau just go to the Works in Ottawa which has been doing the fancy burger thing for a much longer time and with far better reviews (they don't do reservations at all but the wait times aren't as ludicrous especially if you go on a week day,) I know I'm not going to try going again.

Nice place with a good atmosphere. I had the blue cheese burger and fries and it was delicious! Beer was good, all in all not a bad place.

It was delicious, honestly I would eat there again anytime! Personally, I took a poutine and it was really good. I want to say that the portions are really big (there's even a burger that costs around 60$ because it's so big). The poutine I took was more then enough for me. Usually, I eat everything in my plate but this time it was really hard. There was so much food to was insane! The restaurant looks really nice, the people are super kind and they seem to care about you (more then some other places). I think that of they make their portions a little smaller and maybe work a little on their menu, I would have given 5*.

The service is a bit slow as if it was a surprise to be so popular.

The choice of cocktails is excellent and the only real downside would be their selection of beers that seems to come directly from the beginning of the millennium ... at this point, I prefer to drink water. I invite you to consider an update with a modern choice of Quebec microbrewery beers! Thank you.

Great decor and serving staff. Terrible food. The veggie burger (Joplin) was a terrible mealy patty covered in mayo. The salmon tartar also terrible. The salad was anything but fresh. The beer selection was subpar , the Goose Island IPA from the two tasted like dishwashing soap.

If you want a Burger, this is the place you need. Located in the Les Promenade Mall, this is my destination place when I m in Gatineau.

Whatever you are craving, or however hungry you are, they have everything for you. From mammoth burgers to extremely healthy options. This is my go to Burger Bar.

The last few times we have gone we have been served by Isabel and she has been a treat. Making the experience here just an incredible one. Huge thanks as good service is hard to come by. Keep being awesome and La Belle keep serving amazing food.

We're From NYC, This place is incredible, if ever in the area, you need to visit. The decor is awesome. We sat at a couch by the window. TVs everywhere, friendly staff.

Awesome burgersand grilled cheese! Quality and selection have something for everyone at a very reasonable price. Decor alone makes for some interesting conversations. Staff are knowledgeable friendly and fast. Wait times can be long but it's worth it. Tons of parking in the mall parking lot. Haven't experienced late night but heard it's good too.

I never regret my visits to Beauty and Beef! The burgers are really delicious and the poutines are to drool! Watch out for the dynamite poutine .. it is spicy at will!
