I strongly advise against everyone. I ordered a cheeseburger menu with sweet potato fries, the minced steak had no taste, no seasoning, the bread was hard and the sweet potato fries probably warmed up, because full of oil, all super cold. I called to complain I had the super rude manager wanting to blame the cold food on the ubereats driver when he arrived with the order barely 10 min after picking it up at the restaurant. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For my part, I will never recommend it again. Considering the high prices we expect a minimum anyway.

THE SERVANTS ARE CRAZY. I often go to the restaurant, the waitresses are silly and disrespectful. Hector at the bar is nice, his mark and the food excellent.
GREAT place.. As usual, not one to post much unless deserving. After the 3rd time, I can say with confidence that there is serious "care" in all aspects of their business. What more can one ask for?
Large and noisy but great place to spend some boisterous time with friends over large drinks and even larger burgers. Make as much noise as you want and no one will even notice yet families bring their kids here for lunch. We were a large work group celebrating the holiday cheer so service was slow. But we had time to kill so no one really noticed. The drinks kept coming and were surprisingly reasonably priced. Perfect for large gatherings.
Nice staff, great looking place with some super good food (get a mac n cheese you wont regret it) and each time i go the waitresses look happy which is to me, a great thing! The drinks are a 'lil expensive but they're really good!
An english summary will follow. Last night, it was the third time I went to La Belle et la Boeuf with my partner. We had a place quickly and we were able to place a quick order.
The cocktails in this restaurant are amazing as they are good and pleasant to watch and the menu is great. The poutines are excellent and the burgers too and there are many choices for those who like to experiment. The atmosphere is great and the music is good.
I am a full-time unemployed student who works only with my student loans and I must admit that I was a little humiliated by the waitress at the end of the meal by the waitress at our table. I only wanted to enjoy a good meal with my partner, socialize outside my home, but I was quickly reminded of how much I am a skyscraper for not giving the minimum of 15% tip on my bill which was already $ 50. The tip would have risen to almost $ 20, which already makes a huge difference in my budget per month. Not only does the waitress try to put my partner and I extremely uncomfortable with the fact that she has to pay 8% of her salary because of the lack of a tip (at least a story like that, I remember just 8%), but in addition, she avoided looking us in the eyes and hurry to leave after his speech without wanting to answer our questions. In addition, when I have the means, I love to tip for an extraordinary service.
I'm not one to create a scene in public, but I was speechless. I empathize with waitresses and waiters who often have to rely on tips to get a higher salary, but insulting clients and making them uncomfortable seems like a poor strategy. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant until I turn 40 and make money en masse.
Beautiful place, great food, amazing drinks, but if you are on a strict budget where everything counts and you are at least 15% tip.
Food is really good (I've tried the grilled cheese and burgers), the atmosphere is a bit loud and crowded (but good if that is what you are going for). The beer selection isn't that great unfortunately (which is weird since they showcase a number of beer from Unibroue in their lobby, which aren't listed on their menu).
It was totally worth the drive. This was the sloppy joe grilled cheese. I wouldn't however recommend the salad at all. Stick to the fries or anything else. Avoid the salad. The sandwich/tomato soup was AMAZING. I WOULD highly recommend the sandwich hands down. Went back and had more food off the menu; the mac and cheese burger as well as the mac and cheese ringolos and 2 AMAZING deserts. MUST GO.
Ive been to two locations ( Montreal/ Gatineau) now and both were awesome . Great atmosphere and even better food. Took the family today and our food arrived to our table in 5 mins and was great! My kids never eat or even come close to finishing what we order them and they polished off the whole plate! Definitely coming back !
Took us an hour and a half to receive our food, the mac and cheese was good for the first few bites then it becomes wayy too much and the mac and cheese dorito balls are dry and too spicy. But the waitresses were really nice and the decor is stunning
Atmosphere is amazing - Cool in a tongue-in-cheek style. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the food - best high-end burgers and poutine going, and we'll worth the price! Although I only had a beer, my wife told me the cocktails are outstanding. Finally - the servers are friendly, helpfully and all around great! I highly recommend!
I have celiacs disease. I was assured and reassured the kitchen could handle it. I left with an incredibly distended belly. The manager was defensive and charged me for the whole meal as well as two drinks we didn't order. This was an awful experience.
Editing my review. We had the table from 5:30 to 9. The drinks were great, food was good, server was friendly and the decor is awesome. Only complaint is that the music got super loud at 8 and that you have to be a group of 6 to reserve, so you're never sure you'll be able to get in if you're just two.
Great atmosphere both with family and friends. Great hamburger and poutine, decoration number 1. Too bad Thai poutine is no longer on the menu, but otherwise you won't be disappointed with this restaurant
We love this restaurant! We go once a week and we have never been disappointed. They play classic rock music on Friday nights and it is quite the nice atmosphere. Young and old are there so you fit in regardless. The food is so delicious and the drinks are made to perfection each time. Also, we have got to know the owner somewhat and he is very approachable and appreciative of our business. We used to go to La Cage Aux Sport and thought that was a great place but this place even tops it. Best sports bar in Gatineau.
I ordered the salmon pokebol for supper tonight and it was delicious, but I've been sitting in front of my toilet for two hours now with stomach cramps.
Really fun place to hang out with a gang, the restaurant is always very busy, the burgers and poutines are excellent. Another positive point: their large selection of drinks out of the ordinary.
The best burger your money could buy. Very tasty poutine and I so love their "Bionique Femme" long drinks...not pricey and excellent place for the whole family. love this place
Exellent palce And service , the food is good with multiple different selection. Options of drink is good for beer and other . People are friendly and easy to talk with . Highly recommended and will be returning.
Seriously the best burger I've had in forever! I tried The Beauty/La Belle. The fig jam was amazing and really made the flavors of the burger pop. I paired my burger with their onion rings which were a bit lukewarm but still very very good. Not super greasy and the amount of batter was just right. Le Coeur Blanc sangria was crisp, light, and delicious. I've never tried apples in sangria before but it gave it an interesting flavor. Definitely going to return again and again!
One word sums it up: EPIC!!! These burgers are a like the mount Everest of burgers, you eat them to be able to say you did it. The staff is also extremely friendly, although make sure you have a French speaker in your group.
Great food! It's amazing, the services is on point, and the drinks are a lot of fun. The prices is a bit on the higher side, but honeslty this is my favorite spot in Gatineau, you can never go wrong with choosing La belle & la boeuf!!!!
Fantastic, out of the ordinary burgers. It's great to see a restaurant try something outside the tried and true. It really brings a piece of Montreal to the Outaouais.
