Loved the gluten free cupcakes. And the shop smelled amazing as they worked in the back.

I work at the FedEx near this location...I had never gone to this bakery b4 but one of my customers always swore by this place. He would buy myself & my coworkers cupcakes to thank us for helping him out. Let me tell you these cupcakes are to die for.. Not only are they beautiful but they taste AMAZING ...so tdy the woman who helped me, I wanted to say Thank you again for her patience & packaging of these lovely cupcakes ...my coworkers loved them & my son did too...Thank you

Amazing little bakery! My boyfriend and I often pop in here when we re in the mood for a treat. They have a wonderful selection of cupcakes and every one we ve tried has been unique and delicious. So thankful for this little gem in Hell s Kitchen!

Just tried this place, so yummy! Delicious cupcakes and cheesecake (in tons of flavors). They even have homemade dog treats! Will be coming back for more.

These are the best cakes, cupcakes, brigadeiros...everything is good! My favorites are the tres leches and pink lemonade. But everything I have ordered for my office has had excellent feedback from my colleagues!

This place is a delightful little hidden gem that's worth walking over to find! I had a nutella cream puff that was out of this world, made fresh upon ordering even. My only regret is that I couldn't fit more food on my belly. Maybe I'll do dessert first next time.

Their creams puffs are out of this world, both pistachio and vanilla flans are phenomenal. Tres leches and especially tiramisu is to die for. Started ordering a week worth of desserts and they keep really well in the fridge for an entire week.

I found out about this bakery thru Telemundo TV. I was excited to come over and try their desserts. I was finally at the bakery on February 13th 2019. Chef Huascar was leaving as I came in and I said "Hola" , he responded "Hola" and when I asked him for a certain cupcake flavor on his website, he said it was a summer flavor therefore, they didnt have it now. He quickly left to what it seemed to be a delivery. The bakery is tiny and they have a small variety of sweets. When Chef Huascar was gone, I was left with a guy who was helping Chef to put things inside the van and with a rude cashier or server, her name "Natasha".
I asked her the cupcake flavors and she started yelling and laughing every time she answered one of my questions.
I asked her: Do you have anything with blueberries?
She answered: NOOOOOOO, in a loud voice, then giggled.
I asked: can you tell me what flavor is this pink cupcake?
Again she answered: "PINK LEMONADE HAHAHA" getting louder
This kept escalating to the point that her coworker an Asian guy, looked at her and tried to be polite to me. Next question was answered in a worst way. She raised her voice even louder and giggled with whoever was working in the back of the bakery ( I didnt see them only heard them) I was the ONLY customer in the tiny store. You'd think they'd treat you right but this lady was completely rude and racist as she was whispering things like " No English "
I do speak English but I only said "Hola" to the Chef as a way of support for our Latin roots. I saw no problem with that but apparently his cashier did. I still went ahead and purchased 4 cupcakes, to my surprise they were stale and extremely sweet to the point that the chocolate cupcake was thrown out. The cupcakes had a commercial taste to them and I honestly think that any other store has better quality cupcakes. I don't want to imagine how she treats tourists who probably speak no English. She had pleasure making fun of me and being rude for no reason. Its now my pleasure to say that you've lost a customer here.

The cupcakes and customer service are top notch. I've tried every cupcake they have and they are all delicious! A sweeter treat literally does not exist.

The best French macarons I've ever tasted, and AMAZING coconut macaroons drizzled with chocolate. Much to my surprise, these were only two of the several gluten-free options (They also have cupcakes and other cookies that are gf). Huascar and his staff were very friendly and accomodating. I'll be back!

First time there and I have to say deelish!! Creme Brulee cupcake and Pistachio Cardamom Flan were awesome. Can't wait to continue to try more goodies.

I had wrote to the person in charge of their FB page about a cake request . I answered their question about how big of a cake I wanted (for about four people) it was really for my son to take pictures and smash & I NEVER got a response back! This was the ONLY bakery I got in touch with around my area ( especially since I m new around here ) who would do a half cake & now I have to get a whole cake which defeated the purpose of celebrating 6 months (the point of a half cake) !

This place is teeny-tiny. I was killing time in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I had the watermelon mint-berry cupcake which was watermelon-mint cake, blueberry lemon frosting, blueberry coulis, and candied lemon zest with fresh blueberry. I liked that the flavors weren't overpowering and it wasn't too sweet. Perfect for a hot summer day!

My girlfriend and I order Huascar in bulk for dessert (weekly). Everything is just phenomenal.

ordered my grandmas favorite cake here and she loved it.

Delicious cupcakes. Definitely try the creme brulee cupcake. I tried it in the store and at home and it totally tastes better in the store right after they torch the top for you. It's got a got a sugary layer just like creme brulee and it is amazing.

This was my first time trying out this bakery and I give the Vanilla Flan an A+ for its rich and creaminess and I also tried the red velvet cupcake which was my least favorite. The chocolate filling is too bitter for my liking. Overall, it was a great experience (customer service)

The most amazing cakes and cookies in a lot of different tastes. All of it produced on the premises. The cheesecakes are served in small nice glass-cups. The pistacchio-cheesecake was the best I ever had.

Best bakery in NYC. I ve tried all of them and the sheer quality of Husacar & Co. is unmatched. Anything you order from them is mindblowingly good and perfect in quality every single time. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Simply THE BEST IN NY.

Cupcakes taste good enough, but ignored two attempts to order off their own website's form; then, when I went there in person to order a birthday cake more than a week in advance, told me they couldn't make the date (did offer to make it two days late). Buttercup is in the neighborhood, much more helpful, and turns out to make a better cupcake as well as (I'm assuming) cake.

This place is small but very accommodating. The cake was so good.

Wanted to get something nice for my friend's graduation (she got a degree in chemistry), was provided with sample pictures of cakes and cupcakes to choose from. They did a wonderful job with these and everyone at the party thought they were so adorable!

On a recommendation I placed a rather large order for an office celebration - I basically ordered blindly never having seen or tasted any of the desserts. I called on a holiday weekend (July 4th weekend) and even though they were closed I still received a prompt response back shortly after. The young woman who received my order was extremely efficient and helpful. The cupcakes arrived ahead of schedule and were visually stunning. Everything was packaged and wrapped so carefully. The cupcakes, flan (still cold), macarons and cookies were out of this world. Everyone in the office kept coming up to me asking where the desserts were from they were so good and so pretty. And that was saying a lot since we do host a lot of events and try to keep a certain standard. I never write reviews but really felt the need to since my experience was beyond my expectations. Will definitely be heading back here for many future orders.

This place is AMAZING!!!! I was blown away by all of the options and everything looked delicious, I seriously had to stop myself from buying everything that was available. The Tres Leches cake was phenomenal. Do yours a favor and swing into this place the first opportunity you get!

The shop might be small but it is filled with big flavors and fabulous options for gluten free folks. I tried the mocha cupcake and salted peanut butter cookie...both gluten free and better than most cupcakes and cookies that are not. The cookie was so moist and perfectly balanced in flavor...perfect spices and salt. The cupcake has rich chocolate flavor but my oh my the frosting and filling were sublime. Soooooo good! I want to go back and try other treats...here I have options that are not lack luster afterthoughts in taste or appearance.

I came here on a Monday just after lunch time.

The location is a little out of the way, but worth it to make a trip here for all the special goodies they have.

The pistachio cardamom flan is unique and delicious. Get it.

I also got four cupcakes. The Vanilla Introvert with dulce de leche filling, the Berry Champagne with fresh strawberry filling, Scarlet Velvet with chocolate fudge filling, and the Dominican Cupcake with guava filling.

All the flavors of cupcakes were delicious. I love that they all have fillings. I really can t think of a favorite, because each flavor has something uniquely delicious about it.

The flan is quite special. I love this flavor, and hope they do more unique flavors of flan.

I will be back to try the jar cheesecakes. Those looked delicious as well.

This is my fave bakery in NYC! Their cream puffs and cupcakes are the absolute best I've had, but everything they offer is so good!

Ordered a Chocolate Supreme cake for my partners birthday and it turned out beyond amazing!!! He was so happy. The quality, taste & presentation of the cake as well as the customer service & prompt communication was top notch 5 stars!!! I will be buying all my cakes & cupcakes from Huascar & Co.

Amazing little gem, super small place but is recommended for a personal serving of their Empire State Cheesecake! They also have other interpretations of cheesecake, as well as cupcakes. They will do regular cakes if ordered in advance.

Naty always is so genuine and personable. She makes all customers feel welcomed and taken care of. Recently, I had asked if there were any drink carriers because I had many bags with me. The next time I came in she had made sure there were carriers available. Her customer service and attention to detail is simply outstanding. Not to mention every baked good and coffee I've ordered has been always been fresh and delicious. Many novel takes on classic desserts that become classics! There is a special dessert here for everyone, and you can count on Naty to make the experience equally as special.

Saw Chef Huascar on Chopped and boy am I glad I came to his bakeshop. First time trying an Alfajor, it was light and packed with flavor. The Passion Fruit Flan was to die for. The service was also amazing-didn t catch his name though. They also sell coquito, Yum!

Flans are my favorite here. It's rich and creamy and tastes just like vacationing in the carribean

Amazing little bake shop. We ve passed this place any times and didn t notice it. We were looking for some dessert and saw this place. We went to visit it and decided not to go in because of the size. The place is super tiny. We ended up going back and boy were we glad. The selection is large. And the cupcakes are delicious. A number of our cupcakes had a delicious filling.

Great cute bakery! They make the best cheese cake jars, it's a 100% a must-order item. I also love how they have free little treats for your pup. As I always bring my dog along and she waits eagerly outside for her treat.

Key Lime Pie is lovely. This Bakeshop has great options and lots of flavours. Amazing service- everyone who works there is kind and polite and incredibly friendly.

Huascar & Co. oozes charm and decadence from the moment you step into this small gem of a shop. The amount of options for such a small bakery is truly amazing which makes choosing that much harder. I ended up walking away with a chocolate chunk cookie and tres leche cake and can honestly say it's the best I've ever had of both. Huascar himself is as warm and soulful as his desserts, I cannot emphasize enough what a treat it was to stop here.

Go for the Fudge Brownies and the Grande Gooey Marshmallow Chocolate Cookie. They taste great frozen too (right from the freezer).

Simply amazing, the best tres leches I ever had out of Venezuela. The tiramisu was delicious too.

This bakery is more than awesome. Every 10 or 15 years, I come across an experience in NYC that reminds me that the best of the best is found in this city - the best talent, the best entertainment, the best fashion, the best people... it seems that I happen to live a block away from the best bakery on the planet. The products here are indescribably sublime. And I think that the staff is the friendliest I ve ever seen. They even have a jar of dog treats for my little buddy Sebastian. (This dog hates all dog treats, but he is crazy over Huascar s - and sometimes he pulls me to this bakery when I have no intention of buying a thing! But they seem happy to us and Sebastian gets his free treat without me buying anything!)

But back to the human treats - they are insane. Do whatever you have to do to get here at least once in your life. I m not exaggerating. You only come across the best of the best a few times in your life - don t leave this planet without visiting this bakery.

For a couple months now I've been mentally preparing myself for the cupcake shop opening on my block. I was slightly concerned for my waistline, but confident that I would be okay since I'm a cupcake snob and probably wouldn't like them. I only like Georgetown Cupcakes. I just stopped in on my lunch break and tried a red velvet cupcake that was really delicious. It wasn't overly sweet which I think cupcake shops have a tendency to do. It was just right!! Great for the neighborhood, terrible for my figure. Definitely worth trying!

When you place an order with Huascar, it s like you re talking with a good friend. He really cares for your satisfaction. He even called me to ensure I was happy with my cake the next day. My order was for a friend who loves monkeys. Huascar created the cake with the monkey emoji. Needless to say my friend was amazed to see it. So happy with my delicious order. Thank you Huascar

The cupcakes are as pretty as you would expect but the flavors and tastes are phenomenal! The creme brulee cupcake is ridiculously delicious, staff is friendly, the talented chef has been there to brulee the cupcakes both times I've been there.

Disappointing first time experience. Received a surprise "hope you feel better gift" from my sister in California. Delivery man did not go into my office lobby..had several calls with my sister who finally had to call me to leave my office and meet him outside. The cupcakes were stale. Sent a picture to my sister and told her they were very pretty, but stale. She called and the owner/manager/baker asked to speak to me directly...really..is that necessary? I work at a large corporation..I order from a lot of different places and have complained TWICE in a span of several years about an order I received (including this incident). The restaurant apologizes, offers a refund or duplicate and I move on. He explained about the delivery service he uses and agreed that was unacceptable. However, he found it hard to believe that the cupcakes were stale. I was a little annoyed that he thought I was being deceptive. He insisted that he didn't think I was lying, but found it hard to believe the cupcakes were stale. Told him I ate two different cupcakes and he could pick up the rest. He said he would have his delivery company pick them up and would credit my sister's account. In an instance like this, I don't think it's a lot to ask a company just to apologize and say that this sort of thing never happens, they're sorry for the disappointment, etc. not, "Gee I find that hard to believe (meaning you're lying). Oh well, I told my sister next time she can order from the multitude of well-established bakeries in the City lol

I love this cute, non-chain bakery near me. They have a fun variety of goods, and overall you will not be disappointed. My one critique is that I wish that they would not refrigerate the cupcakes before serving them. A cold cupcake is dense and the buttercream is unforgiving on the palate... I always stop by to grab a cupcake on Fridays and I always regret diving right in when I get home. If you let it sit at room temp for 30 minutes before eating it will taste like an entirely different cake.

My husband has been sending me desserts every week from this bakery. I m here For a couple of weeks and I hope to try majority of the menu. I m obsessed, I just had the passion fruit mousse! I wanted to call and tell them how amazing they are but I didn t want them to think I was crazy. The salted caramel cheesecake is to die for! I shared the info with others here at the Marriott and they agree!

Such a delight! They've satisfied our sweet cravings for months now. They're consistently open and fill our toddler with pure joy. We've tried almost all their cupcakes, the puddings, flan. We've decided it's time to get into the brownies next time! Our little one loves this place so much, she asks to simply look at the photos! Haha!

Huascar & Co Bake Shop is a delicious and beautiful establishment. My best friend's birthday cake was a delicious layered and puffy and golden centerpiece to the party! The cubcakes are also masterful!
