Most of the people who work in this place are very friendly and helpful. Here there are 3 different buildings but it is a single entrance the first building is the 535 is divided into letters A, B, C, and D after almost in front you will find 537 on the left and on the right is the 531 that has vallet parking

The doctors here are always late for appointments! Even for early morning appointments, the doctors run 30 -60 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. When Steward tries to squeeze in 2-3 people every 15 minutes, it's a set up for failure.

They over book their appointments. I've been with the same doctor for like 10 yrs but the last couple years have been horrible. They run an hour to an hour and a half late for appointments which is absolutely ridiculous.

My mother has Dr. Martin who is very good but always runs late, waiting a half hour and usually longer is the norm. My time is valuable also and
I should be compensated for it. As I write this review it's going on 45 minutes past my schedule appointment time. This sucks

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Its awful to wait two hours to be seen while fasting. And the Dr just says some paitents take a while. Go to southcoast where they value your time

Had to change my doctor Here because he was moving to a higher position in urgent care had to pick from there list the new doctor is well ok but his receptionist is a piece of work he tells me one thing you go out to get your paper work she has her own version of what you need to do. Very stressful

Worst urgent care experience ever! And it was not...

Worst urgent care experience ever! And it was not even caused by the real medical staff, but by the registration staff! They are the most unprofessional, cold bunch who wouldn t care about patients wellbeing but their own! I suffered an emergent outbreak on my chest and needed urgent medications within 24-72 hours after breakout. I called in advance and was told to walk in. I presented all my details and offered to pay either with my credit card/cash or medical insurance card, but they wouldn t accept either without explaining why, even though both are valid. They just forced me out of the door even though I was in pain. It was the most humiliating experience in my entire life. I plan to hire a lawyer and to sue for their malpractice.

Most unprofessional doctors office I have ever met.
The pediatricians office between the receptionist attitudes, and the doctors being judge mental of the way someone looks, my daughter has had bronchitis & a ear infection at the age of 3 months old and her doctor didn t see anything wrong!! I had to go to a on call doctor a few days later for him to tell me she was sick when i knew something was wrong in the first place!!! My daughter is now 1 1/2, her last visit I am fed up & switching her doctors to someone that actually cares about my child s health!

After a routine mammogram, I was asked to return for further imaging. I received an appointment within 48 hours. The repeat mammogram was done; the radiologist was immediately available to read it; and I had the results (happily, normal) ten minutes later. The office had added evening hours to make sure that women who had to return for more imaging would not be kept waiting and anxious. Absolutely five-star service.

Made an appointment a month prior with one of the doctors to see an audiologist. Got to my appointment the Nurse told me the Doctor had retired 6 months ago and they did not currently have one.
Hope they're scheduling is no indication of the type of care they give.

I have been to the urgent care three times . Every time I have been I have had excellent care
including check in also . I have had three different drs. All have been amazing . I have unfortunately dealt with many health facilities before . Drs. ask any questions , have no problems explains things twice . One dr. even apologized for my wait . I highly recommend
this clinic .

My appointment was at 9:45. I am STILL waiting to see the doctor. It s like this every time I have an appointment here. If I were an hour and 15 minutes late, they wouldn t see me, but it s completely fine for them to be that late?! If you re able to shop around for health care providers, do yourself a favor and pick anywhere except here.

I'm beyond pleased with the care I received here. My GP's office was closed and overnight what I'd thought was eczema, common for asthmatics had spread and didn't look at all like eczema, so I went to Hawthorn. The gentleman who checked me in was pleasant and very professional. He even came out to tell me there was one patient ahead of me, something rare. Most places just let you wait. The nurse, Diane, was pleasant, reassuring and very professional. I was relaxed after talking with her rather than nervous about what was going on. Dr. Chen was also a consummate professional. He also has a great sense if humor, which is something I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend this office whether for regular care or, like me, when your regular physician is not available. Thanks, y'all for the wonderful care.

I needed a COVID test for my son's school. I called and they said it would be possible to see him as a walk-in, cost would be less than 200. On the day, I paid $100 to get in the door, then another $46.96 once the test was done, to get the results. That was supposed to be all. Now I get a bill for $334.... for five minutes of support. What a joke. Way over-priced, and they ripped me off. Don't go here.

Poor customer service and questionable billing. I was charged for a procedure that was never completed and upcharged for a phone conversation because the doctor was concerned about having in person visits during COVID-19 pandemic. When I spoke with billing to dispute the bill (less than 60 days after my visit (less than 30 days from my first bill)) they reported my bill directly to a collections agency and refused to answer my calls for 2 full business days afterwards. I believe this company is illegally abusing COVID-19 situation for profit.

They have gotten so strict about appointment times. I was running ten minutes late because of the traffic in that congested area and my doctor refused to see and then I get a no show letter. I love my doctor but come on, that's excessive.

Dr Conroy, a neurologist, diagnosed me with seizur...

Dr Conroy, a neurologist, diagnosed me with seizures back in 2012. He stated after looking at my brain scan that were done after I had a stroke, that it made sense. He started me on medication and from then on I saw his NP, Linda Kampf. She was excellent. I was notified she left when I called for a script refill. My apt with her was the following week and had not been notified yet that she was no longer with his office. I was scheduled for an apt with Dr Conroy 2 months later. He was condescending. He was rude and short with me when I explained my history because he didn t seem to know. He denied saying what he told me in 2012. Which my daughter was with me at the apt when he diagnosed me. He said that he doesn t really handle seizures/strokes so he wouldn t have handled my case. He then followed it up with maybe I need a psychiatric exam. I started to get upset. He said that he could do an EEG. Which he said prior to this that my seizures won t show on an EEG because of where they stem from. He then wanted to pass me off to another Doctor outside of Hawthorn where all my doctors are located. I agreed to a consult with that doctor. When I went to check out, I asked the secretary about that apt. She said he didn t make that note. He had written that I would consider it. Which was false.
In my opinion his attitude, condescending remarks, his contradictions and inaccurate information are not appropriate or professional. I will not be returning to see him again. I would not recommend him either.

Very bad experience with billing department where ...

Very bad experience with billing department where they failed to mark a bill as paid. One year AFTER I paid the bill, with no contact since the check was sent, I received a collection notice for that same bill.
The agency said that even a month after contacting them to advise them of this, Hawthorn Medical had not provided them a response. I tried calling Hawthorn Medical, I've submitted the copy of the paid check, but they will not return calls or provide any response.

I even tried to call and check if maybe they recorded another visit around that time period in error, but I was passed around to multiple departments before they finally just hung up on me.

Had a colonoscopy done here, grate staff awesome services, I don't like needles so they useing a numbing spray and I did not feel a thing! Can not say enough about my posative experience with them thank you!!!!!! If you have to have this procedure done do go here!!!! I give them 10 out of 5 stars!!!!!

Staff was rude and unable to tell me the basic coding information for a routine procedure to see if I could find out if my insurance would cover it. Claimed "we don't know how we'll code it until the procedure is over." This isn't my first time around the block, I know that is simply false.

My 5 Star goes to JESSICA ROMERO, Dr. Nixon s Secretary.
After 2 Hernia Surgery s 1st on Sept. 18,2019, a Fall in the Shower in which I was Hospitalized for 3 days with a lacerated spleen and a fractured left foot; (not to mention the Severity of the Pain)on Sept.23,2019 and another Hernia Surgery on Jan.9th,2020. Jessica, went above and beyond in making sure I, had My appointments, letters needed and Also, prior Authorization in a timely matter not only doing her job duties but Also, being Compassionate with how I was feeling.
Jessica is not only a GREAT SECRETARY , but more so, AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING!!!

This urgent care does a fantastic job from the moment you meet with the receptionist who are very nice and friendly. The nurses and doctors are very nice and listen to you. I highly recommend them I won t go anywhere else

I had surgery here and they prescribed me oxy which is an opioid. My body has gotten too dependent on it so I got off immediately and told them. Called ENT to prescribe a different medication and played phone tag with them for several days. They left me with no pain meds for 4 whole days. I was in excruciating pain for these days. Still no call back from the office even though I ve called several times each day and had the run around. How could they just leave a patient in pain after surgery?? Staff could care less. Very unprofessional from the beginning of scheduling my surgery but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Would not recommend anyone to get procedures done here. Very disappointed.

If it was possible to give a negative score I would. I was just in there and was told we would be given a mask at the front when we came in. Not only was the lady extremely rude to us, she asked why I didn't have a mask, tried to make me feel like an idiot, then proceeded to hand me only one mask, even though I was there with my 10 year old and on top of it, it was a used mask! I have been going here for years and have never experienced such ignorance!

Leaving a 5 star review for Debby, the patient coordinator/reception for Dr. Pamela Coury's office. Debby is always super friendly and very helpful every time I call. From helping me receive previous medical records and even finding out information about vaccinations I needed update, she has gone above and beyond, and always is efficient. Thanks for your work!

Doctors are great, receptionists are the worst. They scheduled my appointments without contacting me or even asking what time works best for me. I had no idea the appointments were set until I got a call saying one was cancelled. How can you schedule someone an appointment and not tell them about it?

I have a procedure scheduled in 3 days and no one has called to tell me the patient prep for it yet. I have no idea what time to even show up at because they never confirmed this appointment with me. Worst part is this office is open only like 3 days a week and I can never get a hold of anyone.
